[Q] Medication App - Android Apps and Games

Goodmorning all,
I dont know if any of you take daily madication but i do for a short time now. I'm looking for a free app that helps reminding me
to take my medication cause sometimes i forget! And when i forget i get a bit sick.
The app that i'm looking for could make several alarm with my own sound to remind me to take them.
I tryed Medication reminder but the app does not do alarms or i cant get it working properly.
Hope someone could help me with this or write a simple app for me?
Thank you in advance for helping me with this.

Try ColorNote, you can set different alarm times for each time you need to take your meds.

Hi Danidemi,
I face a similar problem as have a seriously messed up back and currently on very high doses of OxyContin so if i forget to take my meds my pain levels spike even higher and if i double take my meds that's also not good.
The solution i am using to this is using Gentle Alarm that allows me to set as many alarms as i need and then enter in my calender each time i actually take my meds which works for me. Gentle Alarm isn't free but wasn't expensive either and is a great alarm app IMO.
Marc

Hi!
I use normal alarm clock with my own speaking as alarm sound.
I have three alarms per day (cancer medication).
It works perfectly.
With tone picker I can add any sound file to alarm.
Sent from my GT-I9000 using XDA App

I'm going for the Gentle alarm it is really good but the profiles are a bit unusual. Look good simple and most of all it works.
Thnx All.

Screen timeout on calls.

Has anyone discovered a way to keep the screen on longer while on a call?
Is there any way to change this? If I missed another post on this I apologize. Thanks
You can use power manager in the Google Marketplace

One of the best 99 cent app I've ever purchased. Support the Dev, he just lost his job, and the app kicks ass.
Yeah, Power Manager has the option to a max of 2 minutes, but it has never worked for me, it always times out waaay earlier.

i use shake awake free app that causes your phone to turn back on if you move it a certain amount, you can ajust the sensitivity to howevver much you like. mine basically stays on if the phone moves at all while i am on a call
Awesome I will try these. Thanks for the responses.
Power manager doesn't change the timeout for the screen during calls. The only way to change that currently is using the shake program mentioned above. I use both programs and love both of them so when power manager doesn't help with the screen timeout during a call use it for all the other great benefits and select monitor so it can apply the different profiles (which you can customize) for all the situations.
I tired these apps they both seem to work pretty well, any ideas on how this could be done without using an app?

I use MySportTraining; and I've tried a few. It isn't 'cheap', but I think it is a reasonable price.
Yes with Sportypal you can do any type of outdoor workouts, with the chance to add manually indoor workout, especially for working out in the gym
http://www.sportypal.com/indoor
It has many types of exercises to choose from, or add my own like the Abrriper X program

i dont like sportipal!
have too much crashes.
the MySportTraining its good?!
I use MySport Training combined with Run.GPS (for all my outdoor trainings)
Tried a couple including mysporttraining and tbh I found that excel and making my own log was the best... too much self input on mysport for a paid app, too many missing simple exercises too... and too fiddly...
I check @ weekend mySportTraining and my result is: It is not 4 me
* Only english, kay is not the biggest prob but one
* all buttons 2 small 4 use @ workout and HD2 Display
Did you ever tries Jucy Workout Log? It's designed for phones and tables, so there should not be any issues with HD devices. It's very simple, though powerful. It has the most flexible exercises setup where you can assign ANY measure to your exercises. Besides, it's graphs feature is very good.

Theme/Wallpaper

I would be willing to donate to anyone who can do this. I did search but could not find anything that I was looking for.
Honestly I think a wallpaper would do just fine. I dont really care what is in the background I like darker colors.
Any how I am looking for the firefighters prayer.
It might not be possible which if it isnt not that big of a deal but you never know unless you ask!!!

The Fireman's Prayer
"When I am called to duty, God, wherever flames may rage;
Give me the strength to save some life, whatever be it's age.
Help me embrace a little child before it is to late;
Or save an older person from the horrors of that fate.
Enable me to be alert, and hear the weakest shout,
and quickly and efficiently put the fire out.
I want to fill my calling and to give the best in me;
To guard my every neighbor and protect his property.
And if according to Your will I am to give my life,
Please bless with Your protecting hand,
My children and my wife."
something like this? let me know if you want any changes. try and be a bit more specific.

THAT IS AWESOME!!!!
Thanks now for the noob question do I just go here on my phone and save it then apply as wallpaper or how do I do that?
Everytime I try to make something my wall paper it is always to big for my screen if that makes sense?
Looks great though hope I can use it!!!
you can e-mail it to yourself, you can plug your phone into your computer and drop it on the sd card, or you can go to this site and download it that way.
when you go to set it as wallpaper you will see a green box over the image, resize that box with your finger so most (if not all) of the wallpaper will fit inside of it. then hit set wallpaper.
Awesome thanks figured it out is their anyway you could just put a black background white lettering?
Sorry to be picky lol its just hard to see my clock now haha
Anyway how are you doing this? like what program?

this one has smaller text than ^ that one ^
i'm using photoshop by the way

Useful
Interesting and sort of useful little app.. Seems to be working fine on my Rooted Xperia Nicki.
Would it be possible to add separate scheduled shut down and power on times? Example: A user can set the phone to shut down at 11pm then power on again at 6am. I know some Lenovo phones have that useful functionality built in. :fingers-crossed:

[App][4.0.3+] Pocket Sense - A Simple app to catch mobile thieves and Pickpockets.

Hi All,
I have published an app called Pocket Sense to catch the pickpockets and mobile thieves.
It has the following features :
1. Pocket Sense Mode - It will ring the alarm when the mobile is taken out of your pocket and the mobile lock screen is not unlocked within the delay time.
2. Charge Sense Mode - It will ring the alarm when the mobile is removed from charing point and the mobile lock screen is not unlocked within the delay time.
3. Motion Sense Mode - It will ring the alarm when the mobile is moved from the table it kept and the mobile lock screen is not unlocked within the delay time.
You can turn off the alarm by simply unlocking your mobile lock screen or by turning off the respective mode. You can set the delay time in the app's settings option.
This app could be helpful when you travel in a public transport where you are worried about the phone safety or while charing in the public places charging points.
Click here to Download it from Google Play
