I just got a samsung vibrant on 9/8/10 and im tryin to boot into recovery nd it doesnt work.
Anyone kno how to boot into recovery?

In the Samsung Vibrant section, there are numerous threads regarding this exact issue. It appears the hardware keys have been locked to disable entering recovery/download through the button press process.
You can get into recovery/download through Rom Manager however.
You may want to look into the Vibrant section to get a clearer answer than what I am providing you.

I just download rom manager but when i goto boot to recovery it says it needs superuser...im not new to rooting at all...but this is crazy...i just wanna root my vibrant...any other tips?

Call 611 and tell them you want it replaced. I did it and schmoozed a bit. They sent it next day air.

Ok so i tried rooting my gf's fascinate with voodoo v2.5.1.x and Ea28 i put dl01 on it and now i get to the samsung screen and i can hear the boot music but nothing after that. When i go into recovery i try redoing the update and nothing please please please help me
I'm a little confused here. The phone was currently on stock EA28 when you rooted it? Then you flashed a DI01 ROM? Please explain a little better.

Looking for some help. I'm a super noob. Having a Galaxy S4G,was rooted tried flashing a bali cernal now phone flashes between T-Mobile home screen and bali screen, cannot get into recovery or download mode. Any help would be appreciated.

OK cool. All you need to do then is go to the dev section and find an Odin flashable rom and follow the directions in the thread. What rom were you on when you flashed the Bali kernel?

I installed rom manager from market.
Rom manager does not work with the sgs4g. Head over to the dev section and grab an Odin fladhable rom. Follow the directions and your phone will be up and running in no time at all. The kc1 rom will give you a completely clean slate to work with. Reroot then go the krylon360s thread cwm final to get the working recovery. From there you can flash the Bali kernel.

I don't think it matters if SD is in or not and the only way to Odin is in download mode. With Odin running plug your phone into the computer. You will see a block on the left side of the Odin screen turn yellow. Then place the files in the correct spots. The thread you get the rom from will tell you where they belong. Once they are in place hit start on Odin and let it run its course.

I am rooted and i'm also waiting for a custom recovery and custom roms for this device.This is great phone and i can't believe it's been left out in the cold .Please Devs...Help us get a custom recovery and roms Please.

Gave up on the exhibit 4g the phone would be better with a custom rom...no one was willing to put in the time and I don't have the knowledge to be ale to get it all working myself...time to go have some fun with my new phone the sk4g ;-)

I rooted my sgh-t759 exhibit and deleted to many sysytems app. Now I cant acess the andtoid mrkt.and busybox is not there?? My phone constanlty forcloses.samsung wont refkash. Please help
Hey guys lets all put $5 and donate it to the Team Passion. Im sure they are the only ones that can help the owners of this phone.
Ok here it is in a nutshell. Somehow my nephew has flashed a vibrant kernal onto a 4G and now it is all freaked out. And suggestions on how to flash it back to a 4g? I have never seen this happen before so Ia m unsure what to do here. Basically when you power it up it has a boot screen that say SAmsung Vibrant and then reboots. I can get it into Download mode but I am unsure how to proceed from there. Thanks in advance for any help.

Look for the gremlin remover in the dev thread and download that. Once its downloaded open up the program put your phone into download mode and run it
