Is there a way to unsync the FB events that get put into my google calender? I would like to keep my contacts synced but I hate the calender sync. So far I have not found a separate option.
Or does anyone have the older HTC sync for Facbook that did not include the calender events?
i found it irritating too with all the birthdays on my calendar. And in your phonebook there's all your facebook phonebook in it..
alternatively, go to HTC calendar app, menu, calendars, untick Facebook

Is there anyway facebook calendar sync could be created? In CM5 there is facebook contact sync, but I wish there was calendar sync too.
There is, I can't remember how but on your FB you check events and get a link to you calendar via the events application on FB. This link is then added to your Google account as a normal http calendar. I think a quick google search should sort you out.
I have a question about the calendar app in 2.1 on the hero. If I have 2 google accounts with a personal calendar on one and a business calendar on the other account, I know that I can link both accounts to the phone so that I can sync the calendars down from google to the phone. So when you go to the calendars option in the calendar setting it shows 3 calendars, google personal, google work, and my calendar. The question is this. Is there any to create an appointment and have it only sync with the personal google calendar? Would I have to go to the calendar settings and uncheck the other 2, make the appointment and sync it and the check the other 2 again?

Yes, just use the top drop down menu when you add an event. By default it will only publish to one calendar, you just need to tell it which one. Personal you would use that calander, work, you select that one.

edit: You can also go to the web calendar app and link your work calendar so you can "see" it on your personal one. Then when you use that google account on the phone the work calendar will appear in the "view calendar" menu. I do this for my wife's calendar and I can post to hers as well, I just have to tell the phone which calendar to add the event to when I create it, all from one google account.
Hmmm, i cant seem to sync the facebook calender in the account settings from the tablet. On my phone running Android 2.3.x under accounts i can set to sync calender, contacts etc. but on the tablet there is only the contacts option.
Is there a way to sync. the calender from facebook only?

Hi,
Now that Google calendar sync no longer works, how can I input my Google calendar into Outlook so that it comes up as the main calendar on the Outlook Today screen please?
I'm not bothered about being able to change anything in Outlook and syncing it back to my Google calendar, simply being able to see it as the main calendar.
