so try to port it for all phones. if it is not possible then port it for other Samsung phones.

No you can't. At least legally. So you won't find a thread on it here of someone haas done it. Android is open source, can be loaded on anything. WinMo is closed.
There are already threads on this in the galaxy series phones sections.

Flashing an equivalent ROM?
Surely, there must be a rom of an equivalent Samsung WP7 phone (Maybe Samsung Focus??) that can be flashed to a Galaxy S?
I Think it can boot is Darky's Rom or Original rom

Yeah, but I was wondering if a Windows Phone 7 Rom could be booted on it. That way two OSes could be on the device.
Update: it seems that some people have done the opposite - got Android on the HTC HD7 (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=899229). Now there is proof that it is possible at least.

In theory though is it possible to dual boot darky and original?
obviously only one file can be flashed to the ROM on the phone but I can't think of a good reason why a grub loader type setup wouldn't be possible
I would love to have the option of darky for most days but a stripped down ROM for travelling or if I'm away from a plug for 12hrs + (no internet dependent apps, background apps etc. thus longer battery)
hey guys, there is a app called boot manager which can multiple boot ROMs but its not working on SGS1 - does anyone know about this? and how to make it work?
cheers - maybe we can then bot ics + gb?

[HELP] We need support for i9103 "Galaxy R"

Hi all;
I want to talk to you about the GALAXY R or i9103.
Is a version of SII with tegra 2 and slightly lower specs in terms of camera, storage and conectivity.
However this i9103 is much closer to SII than to the S plus, so why should we avoid the possibility of enjoying the root and ROMS?
I just want that people would be a little bit concerned about this great phone, so any help will be appreciated , if anyone knows who would be happy to help us with this just let me know. Im sure CM,Or other talented people can help us.
Thank You.
EDIT: It took more than 2 months to get our galaxy R forum here, so very proud owned of SGR. And thanks to the admins.
+1 Need supp.
Agree. It's a shame that a phone like this canĀ“t be root.
Thanks to those who can help.
+1 We need root and custom roms for this phone.

Guys, do you know how can i root Galaxy R? i've been searching for days, i found 1 but its only for asian rom. i need your assistance.....thanks in advance!
hello guys
this is my first post on the forum
i wana buy myself my first android device in the form of a samsung galaxy r (coming from good old symbians)
now what i see from this and other forums is that there aint much support from hackers/modders/cookers for this particular model
also samsung hasent announced any plans to bring ics to galaxy r
hence i am leaning towards the galaxy s plus coz even if samsung dosent release the official ics i am sure to get an custom ics rom for it.
should i go for the r or the s plus???
also will i get worse backup times with the r in comparison to s plus as the r has the same battery as the s plus but a larger screen and that too slcd?
Hi
I will try to do my best to help, because I'm having this beautiful device too
and i all ready hacking it around what i want to do is to make a real raw backup of roms and etc, before doing real development on it and i can help in development of kernel and hardware related staff i'm, sorry i new to android rom cooking and etc, but i like hacking and if i will find good manual about it i will be too able to help, the main thing is the kernel which was open sourced by Samsung (2.6.36.2 but device i own has 2.6.36.3) so if we want to improve it i has some experience with Nokia N900 (had it before but now only SGR) i'm also a java dev by occupation and had experience in android application development bun not much and with old android 1.6 but this is not a big problem )

You need to provide source code. You also need to provide information stating that you have permission to redistribute someone else's work.
Once that is obtained I'll allow the link to return
I believe we've had some issues with ics and the 9003 today and anymore threads about it will be locked until it's all cleared up.
Oh and also don't create another post sharing that file, you've been warned.
this is a theme ported by tarunagg which was apparently closed because of the issue b/w tarunagg and the man who created this theme and this guy(sandeepsivia) has gone mad over that

Every developer would do it if it was that a easy task.
If you want it, You gain it.
Try to do it yourself!
And, I am not Mocking on you because you created this. No, please!
I am just telling you, most of the DEVS. are upto some or the other thing.
And, If you see, Samsung is RE-VIEWING their decision.
Our phone MAY get ICS!
*Ta Dun Ta daaaa*
ICS
This phone IS getting ICS, but in the form of a lite version.
Anyone that thinks the 9003 has got the balls to run full blown ICS has been smoking something, It cant and wont, be like running windows 7 on a sempron 200, come on.
Like the man said, its all been worked on, be patient, im sure the guys here will do their best to scale down ICS to a comfortable degree to enable operation on our phones.

[Q] Dual Rom Boot Feature for Galaxy Note

I searched the forum and didn't get the dual Boot feature for the Galaxy note .
We need to run two roms for one custom and one stock rom on galaxy note.
If there is any way please let me know as I am new to porting the software.
Thanks in advance .
Please publish the links if you have regarding how to port different mobile OS to Galaxy Note.
AFAIK there are only a few phones currently capable of dual-boot, such as the Meizu MX, but most phones, including our Note, are not capable. I think it would require a custom bootloader and such to allow for booting into a second OS.
However, you can run something like Ubuntu, and there are some links in the Note forum if this is what you are looking for.

Need custom rom (without gapps) for Samsung Galaxy A31 !

Can someone help me im trying to install any rom (without gapps) on A31, but it seems that none of the custom roms have A31 as their supported device and im looking for any custom rom and TWRP because i can't even find TWRP. Is the phone just hard to custom rom or what? i searched for 3 hours and coudn't find anything worthy of trying. Thanks and sorry for my bad english !
The Phone doesn't has custom roms or twrp for now.
You could try building one yourself using the source code of SourceCodeSamsung
I find very odd that for Galaxy A30 and the recently launched Galaxy A32 has tons of custom roms available however for A31 it seems to be forgotten by the community, nothing other than the stock rom by Samsung. No official or unofficial roms available, that's very sad.

The A32 port I found in /e/ Foundation forum (its Google-less, ok?) but I doubt it will work and you could brick your device, be aware of that. There was a guy you asked a version for you phone and he unnoficially created a version for you phone, not sure if he still does it there.

This site does it with almost every device but doesn't have a rom available for them, it tends to just change the name of the device and the instructions are the same.
Even the tutorial is dated, same for the images used.

I don't have the url anymore since I've switched to another PC and deleted tons of things from the old one, but I had it bookmarked in my account there and it is not available anymore. If I knew they would remove, I'd backup everything - but we never expect such thing to happen.

Hi the issues is Samsung mass producess so many phones they can't even keep track of them and they eventually get forgotten Bc I've been struggling to find custom roms for my Samsung a31 but nobody even develops for it but I realize now that they are slowly trying to develop as the device losses support.
