I just sold my HTC Legend on ebay.in & i am in market for a new android device. I don't care about HTC Sense or any other skinning of default android experience. I wish to keep a device which is regularly updated to latest version of android either by Google or by the wonderful developers here at xda.
Both of the devices available to me have already been upgraded to Android 2.2 Froyo (HTC Desire is upgraded to 2.2 with sense).
Which device is better one to buy ?
1.Google Nexus One running stock android 2.2 ?
or
2.HTC Desire running android 2.2 with sense ?

I guess Gingerbread is already undergoing rigorous hack-testing. The Android 2.3 Gingerbread Keyboard is now available to get ported on to rooted devices running Android 2.2 Froyo. According to the source, this keyboard is only compatible on rooted phones with Froyo. Here is the reference link.
I found this on AndroidSpin, and dont have the time right now to tackle this. The HTC Droid Incredible 2 is a US version of the HTC Incredible S, they are essentially the same. This is a full System-Img rom.zip(like any other leak).

Same as Vivo (Incredible S), but a Verizon world-phone, "VivoW". Got it booting on the incredible, you guys should have a port soon
i have htc desire 2.1
and i have rooted and install a custom rom
a oxygen 2.0 rc7 (ginger bread 2.3.2)
and very happy
before i tryed make a movie of a party with strobo lights
my cam of phone crashed and restart
the display go pink
after reboot fix the display
and cam only take pictures can make movie
if i return to 2.1 orig rom of phone the cam work and make movies
but any custom room before 2.1 the cam dont work :\
any one? have solution ?

Can i install Android 3.5 gingerbread in my new android bionic 16gb? it is possible? I know if i install the Ice cream some of the features won't work but with the gingerbread i am not sure if everything is going to work. Right now i am running android version 2.3.4?
