I'm almost done creating a Theme for my phone but im still missing the % notification over the battery. I want to use the services.jar method since using the 100 pngs in the framework-res.apk takes up too much space and its too annoying to remake the 100 pngs for every single battery icon i use.
Is there any kind soul who can give me a hand andcreate or point me to a guide/manual/how to that can allow me to mod the services.jar?

Lately I'm seeing some themes crop up with 10% increment battery indicators. Anyone know which files are responsible for this ?
stat_sys_battery.xml in the drawable-hdpi folder.
there is also the same file in drawable
thats btw in the framework-res.apk

You can also get 5 and 15. No 5% after 20%.

Alright, with all I've been seeing about Honeycomb recently I decided to go with a hexagon shape as the base.
Did some searching, but it seems you cannot make a flashable file to change png's inside a .apk? would love for someone to prove me wrong there. Soo here are the .png files for you to change em yourself.

As long as they are the same type of battery just different colors then all you have to do is go to the framework-res.apk>res> drawable-hdpi and replace the pngs.
Well I have a circle battery and I want the honeycomb circle battery.

Not quite sure what the honeycomb circle battery looks like (give me a link to the threads) but if they look really similar just download 7zip and change out the png's like how i said before. I hope that helps if not just let me know
Is there any way to change the battery symbol to show % without adding a widget that is separate than the bottom task bar?
This can be done through theming, but you obviously have to root the tab, you have to deodex it, and then you'd have to modify framework-res.apk. Not really that simple at all. I know how to, I've built themes for my phone, but don't currently plan on rooting my device at all
I was wondering if it's possible to edit a ROM after download. I'm currently using H3Y3BRIDTH3ORY and I'm not a fan of the circular battery at all, so I was curious if we're "allowed" to edit a ROM to bring it back to the stock battery with percentage and how I'd go about doing that.
you can theme it anyway you want. xpack is working on themes for it currently, you might get with him about it.
Check out UOT kitchen, you can do a lot there, or you can just swap out the icons from a Rom that has stock battery icons on your pc using winrar or 7zip. The battery icons are in framework-res.apk and there are 200 of them.
