I have Titanium Backup version 3.4.5 on my phone. I have some apps on my phone that were installed via my PC and not directly from the market. I used the donate version to connect them to the market via Market Doctor and it says its successful.
However, not all of my apps have the M over them. It says some are attached to the market but doesn't display the M, others it shows the M. It makes me think something is wrong and they aren't attached to the market. Any way to fix this?
Thanks!
Also where can I download Angry Birds and Modern Combat at? I notice they aren't on the marketplace.

I heard Angry Birds was in the market now, but I don't see it listed. Is it only for 2.2? Or does anyone know anymore info on this?
Rooted Capivate Galaxy S
Download fast web installer and app brain from the market. Enable fast web installer on device. Go to PC and download angry birds from app brain market and select install it will ask to push to phone hit OK....done. angry birds is now in your captivate. A search would of solved this for you though....good luck.

I have no problem find it in the market. Installed and played on my phone just fine. Running JH7 right now but I don't believe it is firmware version related.
If you have a Captivate and it isn't rooted, I'd like to know you found it in the marketplace. I had to side load it.
AppBrain + Fast Web Installer
Download from the market:
AppBrain
Fast Web Installer
Launch Fast Web Installer and enable it.
On your PC go to www.appbrain.com (sign in), search for angry birds click install and it automatically downloads and installs to your phone.
My phone is stock and I saw the Angry Bird Demo on the market day before yesterday. After reading this thread, I went looking for it, but couldn't find it. Go figure...
Thanks, worked out great. And yeah it is a pretty cool game.
Apps not showing up as installed on the market. Some on phone market, it only shows a few but on the web market most show up but not all.
2.3.3 then wipe. I let it install everything then rooted and did a titanium backup. Could this have boogered something?
the Web Android Market history is "defective"
it doesn't show the apps that has been Uninstalled
so what you see there might not bee accurate
it will only show Installed, if you have synced with it, or needs to be re-installed for it to know that it was already installed
Why would the market on the phone be messed up?
is easy... lol, i just did it again
flashing & restoring from backup, i was playing with some stuff and now market is always force closing...
For some reason in my market there are almost no apps. I only see "top free apps" in any category, not like a huge list of apps im used to on my phone.
I look at the compatible apps for the TF on here but yet im unable to install any of them or even find them. No skype, friendcaster, and others..
Apps I thought I'd be able to easily get, i cant
Im on the latest OTA and not rooted. Anyone care to explain?
I had this before my self. I really dont know why...but i got it fixed by rooting it and installed it with Prime rom.
..i stopped asking why it happened
When you say you can't find Skype and Friendcaster, are you saying even when you search you don't find them? Or do you just mean you can't find them when browsing categories?
I would say that finding apps by the categories is not great. But I can find the apps you're talking about if I search by name.
Correct. Before I rooted, I wasnt able to see every app under "social"- then the sub category of "top free apps". I would just see the 8 and not able to click all free apps.
I went to the google market on the internet and found friendcaster but said the transformer was not compatible.
Once I rooted though, I was able to see a bunch more apps. Honestly- i couldnt even see the other versions of angry birds, only angry birds rio because it was on the top free apps list in the home screen.

I got prime 1.8 with HC 3.2 running. I belief 3.0 and 3.1 HC didnt have the update for non tablet apps compability mode. Meaning that google market prevent u downloading it.
Just root and flash prime1,8 or revolver rom2.5. Any rom with HC 3.2 on it. u will see the apps ill be back and u have the compatibility options for non tabet apps.

Hey, guys.
Since there's a 10 cent sale, I can't pass it up. There's 2 apps I got on the Amazon Appstore for free, but they're on the market for 10 cents. Might as well pay the 10 cents and get better support and updates through the Android Market.
However, the Android Market shows I have those 2 apps... but I can't download them because it keeps coming up that I haven't paid for them. Duh! It won't let me purchase them either. It keeps coming up "Error - The download was declined because you haven't purchased it."
There's no buy button. Just install. I Force Closed Market, cleared cache, and cleared defaults. Still the same problem. What can I do?
Have you tried from a computer?

No luck there.
It's solved. Google says their payment system is updating. It's on their end. Didn't get an ETA for when it'll be fixed. Probably later tonight is my guess.
I'm now having the same problem for swiftkey... did it ever get resolved for you?
Uninstall the Amazon version of the app.
Purchase it from the android market.
Have a nice day.
I have the same problem and even if I uninstall the app from Amazon Appstore, Android Market continues telling "install" instead of "buy".
If I try to install : Market tells me I didn't purchase it...
I'm in the same boat, I have uninstalled the other version, tried unlinking it with TB and I still can't buy some apps
I have the same problem. I couldn't even manage to buy with (old) Market version 2.2.11.

I remember an option to "buy the app anyway" after the screen "you haven't purchased it", when I was using old Market.
I'l try to downgrade the Market to see if the option is still available...
just chiming in to say i'm having the same problems as everyone else, I can't find a work around.

The old market says the credit cards I attached to Google checkout are invalid. It is very strange because they are usable on Market 3.3.11...
This has been driving me crazy since yesterday...but I think I found a fix.
Following the suggestions from Sygmasf (credit goes to him) on this link:
http://www.google.com/support/forum/p/Android+Market/thread?tid=39a174b42dfab155&hl=en
I uninstalled the app in question and removed it's folder from the phone completely. Then, I installed the old version of the market he links to (http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=743249&d=1318041888) and I was able to download the app I wanted.
The app I wanted was SoundHound and in the old version of the market that I had to install it showed as $4.99 but when I clicked to download it actually showed it was only charging me $.10.
YeeHaw! Now...if I could only get back to the "new" version of the market...
ETA: I just restored Market from a previous Titanium Back-up I had and I'm back to the latest and greatest!

I was having the same problem with Beautiful Widgets that I got from Getjar Gold Apps and that worked for me.
I froze the Market (and updater), installed the older market and bought the app (it was highlighted with green and showed the €0.10 price). Thanks!
I had problems installing the apk. Said 'Cannot Open File'
I got around this by going to Settings -> Applications -> Manage Applications
Scroll to Market then Uninstall Updates. That rolled it back to an earlier version where I could buy the app.
open a ticket with Google technical support
it's a known issue, they still don't have a fix
apparently thousands of users are having the same problem

Hi, I just rooted my kindle fire to be able to access the android market, and in the market app it does not even bring up blood and glory when searched? But if I go to the market via the web I can see it but it then says it is not compatible with my rooted kindle?? So I cannot download It.???? So are there just some apps that will not work??? Or is there a way around this?
Thanks!

Apps a deigned to work only with the right hardware. You could try to fake it so the market thinks its a different device but it still may not work
Because its the Kindle Fire the Amazon App Store is default. And so when company's like Gameloft release a game they'll assume that your Kindle Fire doesn't have access to the Android Market and most of the time they'll only release the app for the Android Market meaning that the Market app will filter the app out. One of the ways to get around this is to go onto your computer and download the apk file and then transfer it to your Kindle. Once you've installed it on your Kindle it should run. You can download an apk file via your Kindles browser as long as it is an apk file. I'm not to sure about paid app's however.
Thank for the info!
So how do I go about downloading the APK file (blood and glory) to a computer, as the market again will not let you download it (need android device)??? and once I have the file do I just drop it in to the main kindle drive (no special folder or any thing).. because when trying to find all my other APK app files that are installed on my kindle I can't find where they are store at on my kindle??
I am pretty new to all this still...
Thanks again, you guys are great!
