[APP] Fuzzy Clock - Android Apps and Games

Hope this is allowed... just wanted to spread the word about an app I stumbled upon which I find extremely amusing....

I am not the developer or anything, just wanted to give some recognition to this wonderful app...

[Q] [REQ] - Simple spyglass-type zoom app for homescreen/apps

Hello folks. I'm new, and I'm sorry in advance if this has been asked.
I know there are many complaints about font sizes on android phones. It appears each app has their own too. As someone who needs reading glasses, my phone is really hard to use without them.
So, I started looking for a simple "spyglass" type app that would magnify a part of the screen (whereever the finger is touching). There is NOTHING out there. I can't imagine it being too hard (granted...I haven't learned java/Android yet)?
Essentially, launch the app, then move your finger over the screen, and a preset rectangular area centered on your finger would double or triple the pixels. I'm far sighted, and reading my phone without granny glasses is a pain.
Anybody have any skills they feel like flexing? It would be great if the app ran as a service so you could magnify ANY pixels (no matter what app was running...or simply the homescreen).
Even better-> The "hard button" on our Android phones that is reserved for searching...if that could be modified to launch said "spyglass" tool.....you would win lots of kudos!
Thanks for letting me post. I know of various font tricks and apps, but they are not very slick.

[Q] Android Diagonal minimal text

Hi all, first off. Being that this is my first post, I can't post in a developer specific thread, but rest assured I have done a search first.
What i am in search of is a widget app that can do minimal text in a diagonal form.
I currently have minimalistic text which is an absolutely brilliant app. My homescreen has the days of the week across the top, and while sitting admiring the finished piece, I though..."it would look great if the text was on a 45 degree angle" or something like that.
Do any of you know of an app that does this already?
OOps. Sorry. and thanks.

[APP] PuppItApp - Animated Ringtone!

Hey guys,
Me and couple of my friends are doing our first steps in the App world.
A few weeks ago we've lunched our first app called PuppItApp which enables you to animate your contacts photos.
We would really appreciate if you could tell us how it works on your device and if you like it.
You can download it here for FREE:https://market.android.com/details?id=PuppItApp.Package&feature=search_result #?t=W251bGwsMSwxLDEsIlB1cHBJd EFwcC5QYWNrYWdlIl0.
Watch it on youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PmF4bxw959A
Please rate it if you like it!
Thanks
Nice app, love it...but
How can I disable the incoming call screen I kinda like the usual
Thanks
funny.. very funny ... but useless
Very cool concept.

[Q] Status Update Widget?

Did a quick search, found nothing to answer my question.
I'm wondering if there's an app, specifically a 4x1 widget, that I can use to update my status on social networking sites. I'm not interested in reading other peoples updates (I'll go into the appropriate app for that); I simply want something akin to the google search bar.
So far the best thing I've found is TweetDeck, but it's far from the prettiest duckling. Before anyone mentions it, 'Simple Status Widget' is a ghastly, low-res pop-up.
If there's nothing knocking around then I guess I'll try my hand at making one
[EDIT] I should say that Google + is a fine, though not quite perfect example of what I seek. I mean, why give me a text box if tapping it only takes me to a new screen?

Will you Marry me? [APP] Geeky Love

This is inspired by robo4130 geeky way of professing his love for his soon to be wife. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1771509
I thought about making an application that does a similar thing, without having to bother about a LWP. Gratz btw robo.
The app has most of the functionality I was going for, but the UI needs a huge revamp.
Current features :
- Add a name to the message
- Add up to four lines showcasing your love
-- Each line is separately added
- Add a personalised message
--Default is 'Will you marry me?' , but this can be changed to 'Will you go out with me?' etc
- Option to add a personalised background
- Set the app to display your message on application startup
If you guys like it, I could add in sounds and UI changes and some wallpapers included in app.
I have narrowed down most bugs, but if you find any, please post here.
I tried to it out on my samsung infuse running cm9. It works well. If i understand the concept a person goes in beforehand and sets it up with their words. Then when you are ready to show it you start the app then press start and the words appear on the screen?
I understand its a basic start but its a good start you have going. I would definitely like to see some ui enhancements and some sound. Maybe even let you pick a chopped mp3 sound. Or include a couple premade sounds that are timed with when the words appear on the screen. And a live wallpaper effect for a background would be neat too.
I did notice that it displayed the text in the upper left part of my screen. Any way to get it centered in the middle?
Good luck and thanks.

@skyliner
Thanks very much.
I will try to make the UI look nicer Inshallah.
Main problem might be sounds. Firstly, I am not experienced with SFX and I have just a faint idea of where to find them copyright free. I found a neat website but I am not sure if it will have the sounds that I'm looking for. I wil probably use specific tracks and not unique effects because they are easier to find.
If anyone has any that I can add, it would be much appreciated.
Secondly, timing I think is crucial. I will try to make it spot on. I would love to hear/see a lovey-dovey song playing in the background while a dude sits on his knees and hands his (soon to be) wife an Android phone with those 4 magic words displayed on the surface
Regarding the text placement.
That is just temporary. So many times before I have made an app and have thought of posting but have always given up due to laziness and my short attention span.
I nearly went to sleep mid way so decided to post as is.
I hope to have 2 options. One. display in the middle. Two. Display it diagonally.
I could also make option to add hearts, roses, chocolates etc. Anything that raises the odds of getting the right answer
