hi everyone
is it possible to get the stock froyo unlock screen on my htc desire?
im using froyo but htc comes with a different unlock screen( the one u slide down)
i've tried lock bot but it has a few bugs and doesnt work well?

I believe you can delete the htc_lockscreen app if you have root. But I'm not sure!

Just got my t-mobile branded desire and wanted to udate the firmware to froyo 2.2.
So i made a goldcard and installed Ruu 1.21.405.2 with the intension to upgrade froyo from there but.........
After the first succesful rom upgrade the screen won't go on.....
everything works, start-up sound, vibration and usb connection but the scren stays black......
It's a simple procedure so i suspect a malfunction in the device itself.......any ideas???
Guess: is it a new one with slcd screen? Drivers are different to the amoled versions...

You have a slcd desire and the screen needs hoot 0.83
Everything below 0.83 don't support this slcd. A fix for this is already published. Search for hboot 0.83 fix

Hi everyone, i currently own a desire s, locked to Orange UK. i have managed to achieve s-off, but as i need to use the orange signal boost app i am wondering if any custom roms include this feature. I have heard there is an official sense 3.0 update but being s-off i dont seem to be able to receive it? cant quite work out how to go back to s-on!
any help would be greatly appreciated!

If you need the signal boost app then you must stick with the Orange ROM, the update isn't out for Orange ROM's yet - it will probably be a few weeks knowing how slow Orange are at getting updates out.

now i want to s-off but i have to lock (have htc version unlock)
how do i lock so i can do unknownforce downgrade?
I may be spanking new, but i did that newt thing without a hitch, but after a long wait and anxious for his new rom i feel i need to be s-off if i'm gonna do more, thanx

Hi, my HTC chacha screen navigation touch panel isn't responding is there any solution for this
It was not responding on stock ROM locked bootloader, now I have HTC chacha unlocked bootloader, rooted Installed custom ROM still i have that prob, It happens after a while every time, When its plugged into charging it starts to work again but after a while the screen again becomes unresponsive.
Warm country? Had the same problem during the summer...

I contacted AT&T to obtain the SIM-unlock code for my One X/XL. For the life of me, I cannot get the unlock code to work. What's worse, I was told that if you input the wrong unlock code 5 times, the phone will be permanently locked to AT&T. I am rooted and running CM10.1. Does anyone know if rooting and running a custom ROM interferes with carrier-unlocking your phone? Thanks.
The unlock code won't work on an aosp rom. Flash a sense Rom then try and it will work
