[SPLASH] MetroPCS DROID Eye - EVO 4G Themes and Apps

hey guys.
i'm one of those users who has had to sacrifice our Evos to MetroPCS's 1x network...
while modifying my phone I came across a lot of good stuff, but I always end up modifying things even more...so this is what i came up with using a splash I found somewhere here (sorry I don't have credit to the original author of the EYE splash).
i enlarged the eye (removing the empty side spaces), and added the metropcs and htc logos. my personal one looks a little different as I have the HTC logo on the left and my name on the right...but to make it universal i think this works too

There's quite some murmur going about town about the so-called HTC Dragon. Someone did manage to get their hands on a prime suspect - an unknown HTC phone running Android. What's clear from the spy shots is that the device is a GSM phone with 3G connectivity. The back shows a camera with an LED flash and a Google logo, which suggests this is a "Google experience" phone.

[ATTN:] Themers @Cypis, @Thyrus etc. *HELP WANTED*

I figured i start this thread to try to help a long time Android friend of mine (@manup456), which is also a legend in the theme department of Android.
Which in turn can benefit all of us here in the Sensation forum..
Manup hit a wall in creating a Sense 3.0 skin. He's having trouble applying white text in the drop down status bar. If any themers/anyone with input or solutions to this problem would be so kind and point him in the right direction.. that would be great
I know im really eager to get @manup456's skill into the Sensation forum
Here is a link to his twitter post:

[BOOTANIMATION] Different Honeycomb bootanimation

First off, apologies if this was posted earlier, but a quickie search didn't find one.
Can't take much credit for this one. I got it from rixsta's thread in sgs2 apps/themes in which he credits kellex for the work.
All I've done is optimize it a bit better for boot animation purposes and make the background a true black. After all was said and done, this is around 3X smaller than the original and for me on my N1 performs better/smoother and imo looks better as the original's background wasn't as dark.
Anyway, I thought it was cool so I wanted to share
This zip will place it in your /data/local directory so those of you who are flashing nightlies or any other roms that don't wipe data this will stay intact through your rom flashing.

Custom front/frame pairing

Hi all,
Had to replace my Style's screen and in the process decided I'd switch up the mid-frame too (it was pretty banged up from the knocks and I wanted a white/black combination to match my black accents). I'm pretty pleased with the results!
I'm not 100% about the walnut back with the other combinations (and I've also got a silicon back spare which feels amazing and I can't help but want to try it on!) but it's not yet stuck down permanently again.
Let me know your thoughts - I know people were keen on a black/champagne combo and it was genuinely an easy switch out.
