Hi All,
first up android rocks!
now my question...
im looking for a FM Radio Application, currently im running Azure mod for my HTC legend, this works great but doesnt include a raido application
I have been looking over the market and within these forums but so far I have only found application for internet radio, what i want is just an FM Tuner that i can tune into my local area's fm stations.
If anyone could recomend such an application that would be great!

There is no FM Radio for Non-Sense roms yet, there are several projects working to port FM Radio Apps over from Sense, located http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=724749 and http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=707404.

Hi all, just after some info please and a "Endomondo" search in this forum brings back nothinh as yet.
I use and like the Endomondo sports tracking app on my HTC Desire/Bravo, and on the original stock rom and all cooked Froyo roms it works fine, but on every Gingerbread rom i have tried so far for some reason this app keeps dropping the gps signal meaning that your not accurately being tracked. Im sure its not a radio issue as my Ndrive sat nav works perfectly.
So basically just after some community feedback, is anybody using a gingerbread rom, on ANY device and is running Endomondo with no issues?
Cheers.
If you are using the pro version have a look to see if power saving mode is active.
Failing this try another free version to see if they work (cardio trainer), as i know endomondo has always had issues on my SGS but none of the others have done.
i don't have any problems with the free version of endomondo (CM7, HTC Desire)
Cheers guys ill try cardio trainer out see how that runs.
Hi Folks,
so as I got a new car which has built in bluetooth, I'd like to use RSAP with it.
Currently my Sensation uses only the bluetooth module as a hands-free-speaker.
But in order to access the phonebook it needs to support RSAP which can be installed / used with this software:
http://www.android-rsap.com/compatibility.html
But as all of you can see there it is not compatible and I'd like to find a way to have it working properly. So is there any possibility to have it working?
I'd pay a bounty to have it working of lets say 20€ - I guess I am not the only one who would love to use this function.
Who else would pay?

i used the word RSAP to search google play and found some results that may be what you look for .. i'm sure you already checked the market but maybe you missed this .. hope it's what you looking for .. some other paid apps too
play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.android_rsap.rsapinstall&feature=search_result
Yep, found it - these 3 apps are all from the same developer...
On his website you can see, that he confirm its not working (what I tested and it is not working for me).
He says that the Radio has changed or whatever - someone has an idea or someone is able to develop?
Hey everybody, I just purchased and installed a new head unit for my car, that can stream music through bluetooth. My phone runs the latest cm10.1, and I am looking to replace the crappy "voice dialer" with google now. Is there any way to do that? Also, my phone won't send the meta data of the mp3 to the unit, I use Google play music, is there a fix to that? I read some where that Android 4.2.2 pretty much broke bluetooth, but it has been a while so is there a fix that I have missed or do I need to flash a custom rom? thanks!

The HTC Bluetooth stack doesn't support AVRCP 1.3, which displays the metadata (artist, album, track title, etc.).
I read that CM has their own bluetooth stack which supports AVRCP? could It be that it just hasnt been implemented in CM10.1 yet, or did I just read some false information? My phone is Rooted, S-offed, and has an unlocked bootloader. Thanks!
I'm mostly a Sense user, so can't comment on the CM (or other AOSP) builds for a while now. But I was trying various AOSP ROMs a while back. One of the main reason being to see if the Bluetooth stack was any better than the HTC stack (and if it would work any better with my car head unit). None of them displayed the meta data on my car stereo head unit. But its been months since I've given any AOSP ROMs a serious try, so this might have changed.
I'm not completely clear where the Bluetooth stack comes from for CM, and imagine it might vary by device. But its true on my old HTC Desire Z, that the stock HTC stack did not display the meta data, but CM ROMs it did display the meta data.
I know Google is using AVRCP v 1.1 and it does not have meta data. But I believe CM 10.1uses AVCRP 1.3 such does support meta data. Might not hurt to try.

i wanna play my home theater's FM via android phone so any idea to transmit frequencies??[/CO:angel:
Thank's in adv:laugh:
I am afraid it's not possible dude, most phones out there, if not all, dont have the fm transmit function because they lack the particular hardware.
You could try this though https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=newpotato.tunelink
Yeah i miss that too
They should build fm transmitters in the devices
My previous phone the Nokia N900 had it built in
And i must say i miss that option also really bad.
Thanks
Thank's
Hello, I want to use my old LG P500 as APN phone - I have a data sim card I want to use: teetering 3g to Wifi, Radio FM, Radio ON-line.
Right now I use an original Rooted 2.2.2 Android, but I try different roms. This version has the limitation that on-line radio don't work (Applications installed from Google Play force close - for example Rock FM). Others ROMs I used can install online radio but lose the Radio FM (even with 3rd party aplications). Help me find a good ROM that does these 3 things: teetering, radio fm and radio on-line, or help me how to install without problems these applications on 2.2.2
Thanks!
LE: I manage to find an application that works on 2.2.2, a on-line radio. Anyway, 2.2.2 is so ... strange. For example teetering is auto closing in 15 minutes.
Anywa, if noone knows what I need, please close this topic!
