i want to know this because there is one call recorder install on my phone and its best call recorder ever i had seen..
i use total call recorder full (it record calls but not shown recording file in record list, if u wana listen recording than u have to use file explorer and than u have play it ) thats why total call recorder is not best for me..

if you have Apk file of that "hongbo" callrecorder than please share with me..
also tell how to copy install application from one device to other
thank you
You can use Titanium Backup to back up your apps to the SD card, then transfer them over and install them.
is it possible?

Install and run it, select Backup/Restore, select the program you want, press Backup, browse SD for it, done.
Or you could use RootExplorer as you've mentioned.
doesn't bump have an option to send apps?
if you download it from market
open root explorer
and on the root of the device
choose (Data) folder it's the 3rd folder
after cache and cdrom
inside Data there is folder called (app)
you will find all installed apps inside it
search what app you looking for
then copy it and paste to sd card
and here you go.
If you install a paid app for from 1 device to another device, you can not do a app update for that paid app, each paid app is registered to that device IME no.
willl it works

This is just a guess, but maybe you need to reinstall Astro, and use the "restore" feature.

Heey,
In this guide I am going to tell you how to transfer all your apps on your current ROM easily to a new ROM. You can do this on ANY version of android in ALL cases!
Downloads needed
x10 Flashtool
Astro File Manager from the Android Market
What the heck am I supposed to do now?
Lets get to the point 8D Make sure you've installed Flashtool on your computer and Astro File Manager on your x10! Now open Astro File Manager on your x10 do the following. Menu button > Tools > Application Manager/Backup > Choose the apps you want to restore on your new ROM and > Press on Backup! When the backup progress is finished you will have to close Astro File Manager.
Now mount the USB-storage on your PC. Open your Memory Card go to > backups and copy the folder called ''apps'' to your computer.
Now get your new Custom ROM and install it.
Open up flashtool and make sure the USB-Debugging is enabled on your x10 and that your x10 is connected to your computer. Copy the folder ''apps'' you've put on your computer to Place you've got the Flash Tool folder then there is in it a folder called ''custom''. Copy the ''apps'' folder into it. Press on Ask Root Perms then APK Installer. Click on one app in the list then press CTRL + A on your keyboard and click on Ok. All apps will be installed now.
Don't forget to press on the ''Thanks'' button and leave a reply in the topic if it helped!
Cheers,
PlayGunsta
Or another great Method. Go to your Flashtool Folder then open custom and then apps and put all your apks inside then start Flashtool and click APK Installer and it installs all. But PlayGunstas Method is better when you dont have a PC always becouse you can install all your Apps from SD Card then.
Also you can try to unyaffs the data.img and installing through flash tool if you have a xrecovery backup. Just select the data/app folder
This save only apps or their configuration and data too?

Configurations are not being saved with this method...
omg... data.img/cache.img or Titanium Backup
it's easier to kill yourself, than backup and restore using this strange method. both methods do not need to use a PC and are much faster, lol
hah, copy data/app folder is easier, than this.
this for deviants only
agreed! tnx for this method but i think using titanium backup will be more easier specially for those who don't have computer...just don't know which one will have better effect... anyway, tnx...

Lol just pointing out different methods. Well consider this : if you have a xrecovery backup in your pc and want to restore data from it, it is easier to just unyaffs it and install. No need to restore, use titanium backup, restore and use titanium backup again.

ahah, u write like u don't understand how to restore apps in TB
Launch TB, make 2-3 taps and wait for 30-60 seconds (depends on your apps count and size), it's restored!
so, better I say, that everyone will use the most suitable and comfortable method for himself Peace, people
actually i know how to use titanium backup. I am not asking you to use it. Just pointing out different methods.
thanks wolfbreak
Works
I use both this and adb pull, but it's down to whatever you find easiest I suppose
But then they don't show up as installed in the Market do they? In that case, I won't get updates for them as they are available in the Market.

They will, even if they dont, you just have to use the Market Doctor on Titanium Backup

Hey guys just rooted the phone finally today as I wanted to be able to gain better battery life and performance.
I followed this how to:http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1122657
Which worked great and installed the following:
-Clockwork Mod Recovery
-PeanutButta Jelly Time w/ Voodo Lag Fix
On my past phones (nexus 1 and nexus S) once you rooted you could delete any app on the phone but I dont seem to be able to do this. I wanted to clean out some of the stock apps that are installed on the Charge from Verizon such as: Bitbop, City ID, ect.
What am I missing here?
Download Root Explorer, make a folder on your sd card named "charge bloat" and go into system/app and remove what you need too.
Be careful with some of the stuff you remove though

Is there anything I must keep on?
Here is the list of what I was planning on removing:
AllShare
Verizon Apps
Bitbop
Blockbuster
City ID
Guided Tours
Lets Golf 2
Rhapsody
Rock Band
Slacker Radio
V Cast Media Manager
VZ Navigator
WeatherBug Clock
Also I just downloaded root explorer and went in to system/app folder and tried to move the apps to a the new folder I created on my SD card and I get the following error:
"apk cannot be moved because the file system is read only"
NM: I had to hit the mount button at the top
In Root Explorer you need to change where it says 'Mount R/W' to 'Mount R/O'
That will give you access to move files freely.
You should also be able to remove them with Titanium Backup I believe.
Thanks guys!
Can anyone confirm if Im ok removing the ones listed? also is there a list anywhere of stuff that can be removed?
I highly recommend you use titanium backup (its free). Backup the app you want to remove, then delete it. If you delete something you shouldn't have you can then simply restore the app.

Just installed Pro and now going to follow this list:

Thanks for the help guys!
So, sometimes, and like now, I download an app and I install it properly. Then I unistall it for Z,X,Y reasons and when I want to install it again, it says that I don't have enough internal memory. However I have about 200 mb free. Also I want to mention that sometimes I can't install any app and other time only the app that I deleted and want to install again. If you help me I will hit the thanks button!

Try using a program like Astro or fx file manager, many times the apps you delete are still on your phone even after you uninstall it. I routinely go thru my blackmart(an app library) downloads file and double delete apps that I dont end up wanting or that didnt work. Secondly you need more memory. Get a bigger SD and google your way thru getting things transferred. Note also that you can use the same programs i mentioned to re-install a app that you "uninstalled". FX or es file manager or root file manager should work out well for you, get them at blackmart alpha or google play.

I would just add that you should also use Link2SD (I let you google it or look for it inside this forum) if your device is rooted, which is great. But don't forget to backup the data of your sd card before creating the partition for Link2SD!
I work in a phone store. one of my jobs is to uninstall all internet related apps. i do this by rooting, installing link2sd, and uninstalling the required apps one by one. needless to say, this takes a very long time. any way to do a batch uninstall?
(the built in multi selct dosent work.)

Then something is odd about it. As long as you have root and given root access to the explorer then ukulele should be able to delete the apks from system/app. If you can't I would find out why.

i was using es file explorer, rooted phone, set permissions to read/write. i clicked the root explorer option, and from there clicked uninstall system apps. i then multi selected, pressed uninstall. a message comes up saying "busy", underneath that it shows one by one uninstalling "app name". after that, i get a box saying task completed. i go to app drawer, all apps are still there. so i go into es file explorer, navigate to system folder, than into app folder. all system apks are there, so i multi select and press delete. at that point i get a message, cannot delete, the files are not found" (or something similar) at this popint i am exasperated, so i go into link 2sd, try from there, it works from there at that point i open this thread to see what im doing wrong.
Could you please even reply if someone tries to help you?
Yes not cannot say.. tried.. did not work...
