Hi i know this is quite a weard post but I'm trying to find help over a year now i have a phone with zero or a bit Dev support for months now and i was trying to learn my self some things but with now luck if someone Greek or other nationality willing to help me procure to my phone community it will be great!

Δίνω βάση στα xperia smartphones. Όσον αφορά το κινητό σου, μάλλον θα πρέπει να μας πεις τι έχεις. Θα σου πρότεινα όμως για αρχή να πάρεις κάνα δημοφιλές κινητό και ν'αρχίσεις τα πειράματα, αφού έτσι θα έχεις περισσότερη κι ευκολότερη υποστήριξη αν πάει κάτι στραβά.Αν χρειαστείς κάτι όμως, μην διστάσεις να μου στείλεις μήνυμα. Ίσως να μπορέσω να βοηθήσω.
By now all of us pretty much now what samsung KNOX is and what it does.

What we don't know for sure is - Does KNOX 0:1 permanently voids the phone's warranty?
While there are people trying to reset that KNOX flag (based on various reports that Samsung can reset it), there are quite a few reports of peoples who got in touch with their local Samsung representatives who told them that the KNOX flag does not void the warranty.
There are also reports of people who got their phones repaired under warranty even though the KNOX flag was tripped.
The purpose of this thread is to centralize all this reports so we can have a better understanding of how KNOX affects the phone's warranty and to help those who need a repair get it.
So please post in this thread or pm me and tell who've you spoken to/what service center repaired your phone with KNOX tripped & also please provide some evidence (screenshotos, photos, etc)

Please include your country when posting. In my country (Philippines) the samsung service center gives out receipts when repairing your phone for record keeping. If possible post a pic of the repair receipt/slip as proof that you're not trolling.
OP please change the topic as we don't have solid proof just yet that if you trip the flag we'd still be able to get warranty. At least till we get more feedbacks

Today i reached out Samsung Greece and they gladly informed me that we dont lose our warranty if we have knox flag 0x1.I will add a picture too from my chat with them but its in greek maybe some greek guys from xda can confirm this too for you guys.

Σκέφτομαι να αγοράσω το galaxy s4 μεταχειρισμένο από ένα φίλο. Το τηλέφωνο είναι αγορασμένο από Ελλάδα με απόδειξη αγοράς κανονικά από κατάστημα. Ο φίλος μου είπε ότι το κινητό φοράει κανονικά επίσημη εργοστασιακη Rom της Samsung χωρίς καμία τροποποίηση ή root. Απλώς επειδή στο παρελθόν είχε βάλει κάποιες ανεπίσημες τροποποιημένες Rom έχει αλλάξει ο knox counter σε 0x1.
Θα έχω κάποιο πρόβλημα με την εγγύηση τώρα? Επαναλαμβάνω το κινητό τώρα είναι με επίσημη Rom χωρίς κάποια τροποποίηση ή root και εγώ δεν σκοπεύω να πειράξω τίποτα.

I´ve get mine repaired at samsung Portugal with knox 0X1 and gave me warranty.

Depends man, here in Italy there's a special promotion if u buy a S4, they give you a 64gig SD card and one year extended warranty that covers everything caused accidentaly, screen broken or others....
These days will contact Samsung here, both repair center and Samsung directly and let u know

very good promotion but I mean standard warranty here in Netherlands strand and poor warranty service.

I solved the problem with a Samsung authorized service Czech Republic by e-mail.
I asked guarantee.
I sent a photo of Download mode.
Where have all the oficial status and 0x0 up to knox warrants that have 0x1.
And it was from the division:
" Photo by I see no reason to recognize any complaint. "
Knox 0x1 = HW warranty

Nakonec přišla řeč na případnou záruku.
Poslal jsem fotografii z Download modu.
Kde je všechno se statusem oficial a 0x0 až na knox waranty které mám 0x1.
A bylo mi z děleno že nevidí žádný problém pro případné uznání reklamace.

yep it is fantastic, in italy with that promotion S4 is selled like bread....
the amount of offfer with what gives is 150 euros....

Poland (couldn't get via chat, called them):
I called Polish support line of Galaxy S4 and asked for KNOX Warranty Void flag.
They told me that they have no information about the KNOX flag, they don't know how it's related to warranty void, also told me that if I did updates with KIES or OTA I don't have to worry about anything, but if I installed custom software the warranty will be voided. They didn't tell me if the KNOX flag indicates that the custom software was installed.
Consultant told me to call next week and they will have more detailed informations about this flag as they send a question to manufacturer.
Anyone got their i9500 repaired with warranty bit more than 1?

Yesterday I've send my S4 (K.W.V. 0x1) for the repair (directly to Sammy UK) and I'll see how it goes. Hopefully it will get fixed, fingers crossed

Nope afaik.
If you have a locked bootloader someome can unlock it and it will erase all your data.

Hello to all
I have an issue with viber.i have no unread budge counter in the icon.i have try this with 2 roms and now am with btu 7.0 ( fresh reset).opening a ticket in viber support didnt help at all..telling me that the problem was with the no official rom ( official with wrong csc).in beta rom i didnt have any problem
I try the nova/tesla as a workaround with no success.Does any has came across with the same problem?

Have you gone into the Nova settings > Unread badge count > TeslaUnread Settings > Make sure Viber is enabled?
