Hi all of you
I have a problem regarding Gmail calender and my HTC Desire running Froyo
The calendar on the phone do not show events that has orccurred.
Reorcurring and new events shows ok.
I have been throug a lot of settings on the phone and in Gmail calender.
I need to see all the events in my calendar, even though the event has occurred. It has been working before.
Hope someone can help me.
Regards Thomas Hansen
Anyone please.
I have also made a factory reset, that did not help either.

I have a nice brandnew Desire S, no custom rom (yet) and all original.
I'm experiencing a calender problem I can't find any info about on google.
I have both a google account with appointments, and an exchange account with appointments. When I make a new appointment in outlook, it get's replicated okay to my phone. A moment later the appointment also gets replicated to my google account, and therefore appears 2 times in my calender app (HTC).
Also when I make a new appointment in Google (on the phone or on PC does not matter) it first shows on the phone once, and later it seems to get replicated to my exchange account and it appears also in outlook and twice on my phone.
I dont want replication between the calenders, I just want to be able to look at both calenders.
Anyone an idea about what I am overlooking?
Thanks!

From within the HTC Calendar application
Calendar->More->Calendars and un-select one of your calendars....either Google or Outlook.

But that's not what I want. I want to be able to look into 2 (soon 3) separete calenders, without getting all appointments replicated to the other calenders...
But somehow the problem got solved. The described behaviour has suddenly disappeared. Pitty I don't know why ;-)

We're you running any additional Sync software on your PC, HTC Sync or Google Calendar Sync?
Hey guys, just upgraded to SynergyROM from Das Bamf. The Calendar app is being weird and not showing events. Even if I create one, it disappears. However, it syncs fine, since the new events are appearing on my google calendar. And I set up a widget, and it shows my next event fine. But the main app is blank everywhere. Any Ideas? Not really sure how to re-install it since it is a system app. Thanks.
I think its a known bug with Calendar. I had it happen to me as well for about a week.
The solution per Google help is to clear the Calendar cache to force it to resync all events from the server.
I am having a problem with my calendar, the birthday feed from google doesn't sync with the calendar even though everything is set up to sync.
All my other calendars sync just fine.
I'm running stock ROM, fully updated, and standard calendar app.
Hoping somebody knows why I am having this problem, and can help me solve it.
Thx
Anybody ?
So 156 people later and still no solution :/
Was hoping somebody would recognize the problem, seems like a complete cleaning is the next step..
Hey all
Yesterday I bought a HTC One S. I set up my Homtail Account via Exchange AS and the following Problem occurs. When adding an event to the calendar the phone starts syncing and eats up all the battery but it isn't able to write to that calendar on the server so that i can see it at my pc.
If i delete the account and add a hotmail account under Accounts & Synchronizing the calendar syncing works but I am not able to add or edit Hotmail Contacts..
This functions are working on my old Desire Z with 2.3 and on my Transformer 101 without any problems. Told that the guys from HTC Support -> They told me to exchange the phone. ridiculous...and absolutely not a qualyfied answer
So it can't be a Server issue... WTF is wrong? has anyone an idea? Has anyone else this problems?
Thx in advance.
hi all
im facing a weird problem on my new z5 stock 5.1.1.
my contacts birthdays show up in the calendar (im using a local calendar) only when i select a specific day. none of the bdays get that little dot under the date in month view as they used to have in s planner.
none of the birthdays show up in a the calendar widget. tried the stock one and agenda widget.
any ideas?
thank you
There's a dedicated qa subforum for these kind of questions. People might ignore questions asked in this thread, just sayin
If you're talking google contacts, it might be a google framework bug, at least I can reproduce on some other device. The workaround is to go to google contacts desktop app, in a browser, setup birthdays properly, then sync and all your calendar apps should be fine.
The original problem is that the bday field is now a particular event type that requires a date in specific format bla bla.

thanks! i exported my local calender on my s5 and imported it on my local calendar on the z5 (with ical), and there you go, whyever, it fixed the bdayissue.
