Windows Mobile 6 on CID-locked Wizard

Hey everybody,
First I want to apologize for my incredible bad English. Nevertheless I think you all will get the message.
I have a question about installing a Crossbow ROM on a Dutch CID-Locked T-mobile MDA Vario. I have been reading a lot on this forum to do so, but till now I didn't manage to install it. I have read the 'little tutorial', but to keep my warranty I do not want to CID-unlock.
On this forum I also read about a guy who managed to install ROM's on a CID-locked MDA. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=271043
But, it he says that it is for 2.x OS. Is it also possible to do this for a Windows Mobile 6 ROM?
I also tried to modify the nk.nbf ROM with TyphoonNbfTool, but as soon as I save this file it is only 1 KB? Hopefully somebody has a simple solution for this n00b.

Thanks Proland, for your quick reply. I have read this tutorial before I, but as I mentioned in my question, I rather not CID-unloch my device, since my warranty will be gone. I was just checking whether there is a more simple and safe way to install crossbow. But nevertheless, thanks again for your quick reply!

WOW, Proland, your the best. This is EXACTLY what I mean. It's a pity I can't download this 'Shelltool'. The links seem to be dead. If you could send this program to me I would be very gratefull. HTC Diamond 2 - Windows Mobile 6.5?

Hi Guys,
(I hope this is the right section)
I just bought a Diamond 2, and I'm wondering about is it possible to upgrade to WM 6.5 ?
I don't know much about how does it works - I guess I should change my device's ROM and that will reinstall? If there is one already out ofc..
Also I know probably there will be an official upgrade from HTC, but I cant wait
I'm a .NET developer, so I learn fast

(I don't really want to open a new topic so please move this if its not ok here)
But the question is kinda general:
I've downloaded one of the 6.5 updates, BUT:
There is any way to backup / save my current ROM? I don't wanna overwrite it...

Original HTC 6.1 Rom [request]

First of all; thx for helping me out with flashing HardSPL. It worked out great and I immediately flashed 6.5. However (now we are getting to the point) it's kind of buggy.
I want to flash the latested HTC Kaiser ROM (6.1). To download the ROM I need a none branded serial, which I don't have.
Does anybody have something like a shared serial? Or a original no nonsence 6.1 HTC ROM?
I'll keep searching the forum but if you could help me, that would be great!

No offense , but after 30 posts you should know better that to post something like this in a NEW thread in the rom Development forum.
All stock roms are listed for download in the wiki.

First of all, thanks for reading this, it's my first question and there were a lot of answers about some questions from users that were usseful for me.
I have HTC Touch Diamond 2 and i would like to know the best way and the safe way too, to install wm 6.5. At the Support from the oficial HTC site, it was possible for me to download the file that will install it.
And i would like to know the best software to make the Backup in HTC Dimond 2.
I apreciate all help that someone could give.

First question would be "why?" Are you in the position to upgrade to WP7 phone or go to an android? A 6.1 to 6.5.3 thread can be found at:

Take the spaces out when pasting. But basically you need to go to HTCs website and look for the upgrade there. You will most likely need sync and be connected to a pc to do it. Hope this helps.
