Fake results on Linpack top device lists - Android Apps and Games

I've seen a lot of people in here, and many articles on the internet comparing devices using greenecomputing top lists.
This list is made using Linpack for android.
The results of the benchmarks can be sent on greenecomputing servers.
To ensure the results are not faked, the software generates a fingerprint (probably a MD5 hash combining the results and other stuff), then send it via an http request.
But there's a way to fake the results and generate a right fingerprint that will be accepted by the server, as you can see :
http://www.greenecomputing.com/apps/linpack/linpack-top-10/
I will not explain for now, and contacted the developer to fix it before showing how to do (very simple by the way).
I dont pretend the results you can see until now are false, they may all be true. But just be aware that the results you see on this website can be fake, and use Linpack for android as a personal device benchmark solution, for example to compare your device's performance after a ROM upgrade, but never take the "hall of fame" top list as a trusted information.
Edit : The fake benchmark has been removed from greenecomputing.
Edit 2 : The developer contacted me. He will fix it on the next release of Linpack for android.
Edit 3 : The app has been updated to prevent cheating.

Android browser compatible web-page creator/generator - alpha

Hiya guys,
I have been working on a project that would allow anyone to create simple web-pages on their desktop pc's as-well as mobile device fast and easily! After much frustration I think I have what could be considered a 'working alpha' and would love for some of you to come and test what I have created. It uses a drag and drop type interface and hosts a number of features and tools to create web-pages.
The tool is 100% web-based and should work on just about any device (Im going to regret saying that). I had the idea that this might be useful for sites such as Ebay, to create templates for your auctions easily or static pages etc on the move.
Here is an image of the alpha taken from my desire hd2 -

Sorry for people who had the issue where passwords where not emailed out! Fixed my email settings so registration should work fine now.

Looking foward to some feedback guys!

MediaTek Bug Checker - SMS Bug

Security breaches crop up every now and again, they happen to both the biggest and smallest companies, but this latest exploit is a particularly odd one. It turns out that certain MediaTek based smartphones can be remotely rebooted from a simple text message.

French blogger Korben discovered the vulnerability, which you can see an example of in the video at the bottom. The exploit involves simply texting the seemingly harmless “=” symbol (without quotes) to a handset, which then causes the smartphone to turn off and reboot.
One supposed solution to this problem is to just install an alternative message app and stop using the one that comes preinstalled with the smartphone. However, Korben has found that the problem can still persist even when switching over to another ROM. This suggests that the bug is actually coming about from a combination of software and hardware issues, or something inbetween, that is only affecting a small selection of MediaTek based manufacturers.

[APP][4.0+] Arounder: The World around

Hi to everyone!
Let me introduce the Arounder application.

}
What is it?
Arounder - mobile social network that use geolocation features of your mobile device to show people, events and news around you.
The main difference from usual social networks is in using geolocation to any kind of content (photo, posts, messages and etc.). You have two types of newsfeed: usual (from friends and followers) and GEOfeed - post that left by users in your place.
It also has very high accuracy to show you people around: each next in list is farther from previous.
We have many ideas for further features
SCREENSHOTS:
REQUIREMENT:
Since this application uses your location for its many features, your device must have geolocation support (GPS or A-GPS) and geolocation must be enabled on it.
Otherwise, Google Play will say something like "your device isn't supported".

The app looks great! I will give it a shot!

Great idea!

Custom Rom is safe, because everyone said it opensource, But ??

Simple question: does anyone really review the code????

Yes. You'll see a lot of 'contributors' on any ROM's GitHub page and as they add/tweak features, fix bugs and clean things up, the code is being checked constantly. These can be dozens of even thousands of people checking each other's work. This doesn't even consider the people that just look at the code, which everyone is free to do.
Here's the people working on a crDroid ROM for the OnePlus 7T:

}
Here's almost 10k people involved on a kernel:
On our side – the moderator team – we do a lot of version checking to see if the published versions of components actually match the ones in the source code. Of course, as there is a tremendous amount of code in a ROM, not everything is meticulously being reviewed line by line but anything remotely malicious tends to stand out and when there's the slightest bit of doubt a deeper analysis will occur by multiple parties. Next to all that there are also automated reviewing processes and built in safeguards.
