my phone makes a loud rattling noise whenever it vibrates, any idea as to why?

Are both speakers at the bottom of the g2x supposed to have music coming out of them? On mine it only comes out of the right one.

One is a microphone and one is a speaker.
Pro Tip: If you hold the phone upside down then the speaker will be at the top. This provides a more uplifting sound and also boosts the high notes somewhat.
It does take a little getting used to the inverted image on the screen but eventually the brain adjusts... then it just looks like everyone else's phone is upside down.

I'm pretty sure only one of them is a speaker ...

This is so weird. I just got my G2x today, I thought there was something wrong with it. And i come in "G2x General" and it's the first post on the page.
One mic and one speaker. Here is the illustration from the owner's manual.
A simple search would have found you the answer as this has been discussed many times already.

And leaving this thread with one question that has already been answered alone would have made good sense.
A reply that is both condescending and late serves no purpose.

Well, you can just enable 360 degree rotation in CM7
Nice to see a picture. I thought we have surround sound with 2 speakers.

Has anybody noticed on there AT&T One X that once in awhile when I turn my phone off or turn it on, I get this weird 1sec buzzing sound from the external loud speaker. It usually happens when I first unlock the phone for the first time after it has been off. The speaker itself seems to be ok. It does drop volume like others do though.

Ok, my Samsung Captivate stopped ringing when someone is trying to call me. And I can't hear anything when I put it on 'speaker phone'.
It looks like the speaker phone (in the back is dead)? Yes, I've checked many times to make sure the call volume is on at the highest setting.
And I can no longer hear any sound when playing game or listening to music/video.
Is there a way to fix this?
Thanks

Lots of people have had success with just pushing the speaker down with their thumb, but I had to take the phone apart and mess with a connection for a permanent fix. Search this site for speaker fixes.
Thanks guys. I push the speaker down a few times and it seems to work now.

Anyone have any problems with in call volume through the handset Being very quiet. Speaker phone is loud but hearing people in a semi loud environment is near impossible without smashing the phone against my ear. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I love cm10 but I have one issue which is obviously in the title of the thread. I can not turn down the earpiece volume for a call and people across the room can hear my conversations. Anyone have this issue? Is it known? I did a search here and it didn't turn up anything. Is there a fix? Thanks!

Known bug that's mentioned on almost every page of the CM10 nightly build thread.
Click volume button once, use the volume slider on the screen.
Slide it all the way to the right, then back all the way down to the left.
Volume should be a bit quieter now, but still loud.
Have to do this each time as the setting isn't saved between calls.
Thanks, but I have a job and a busy life so I don't have time to read threads. I figured that's what the search button is for and as I mentioned, I tried multiple searches pertaining to the problem. I did what you mentioned before I posted this and it is still way too loud. It's so loud that it's uncomfortable to have even a short conversation. I was hoping there was more of fix but I guess I'll be using a different rom until then. Thanks for the answer nonetheless.
