You might wan't to consider pokeing around on this site: www.pocketpcthemes.com they must have nearly a million themes my now.

It's quite easy to make your own themes using McDebs or Thememaker X.. I usually just do my own themes when I want a theme with my girl's picture on it..and if I want something else.. this site already has everything.

at the expense of sounding boastful, most of the themes i came across the web (apart from a couple which were part of a theme suite) were...let us say the last option in this thread's poll.
not to sound disrespectful to any one but dude i am not intrested in some semi naked obese ugly female staring at me when i turn on my pda.
some people might say that my themes are crap, but hey i like them..and i wanted to share them with you.

Dude, is it just me or they they f*** up the visibility of text? I m still on wm5(universal) and take a look at how the contacts or any PIM app is getting displayed. This is NOT happening with any other theme

Steampunk Theme... I think I've done it!

I have collected icons, walls, made some of my own stuff and compiled it all into a steampunk theme running on the 31-DEC release of Vanilla Froyo2.2 CM6.2.1.
First off I need to give credit to manup465 and tekrodriguez for the work they did in the other droid forums.

I don't know if anyone is interested in this... i did some modifications to a lot of the core app .apk's and it could possibly cause problems if you're running a different theme. Umm... there is a ridiculously huge thread devoted to the rom I'm running... it's over in the development section... i believe jaybob413 is the originator of the thread and it has had many, many updates. I believe it's still on page one of the development section... says Froyo2.2 right in the subject line.
to everyone else... I'm happy to make my wallpaper and icons available to you, but to theme your phone you'd have to manually change your framework-res.apk and the application .apk files yourselves. I'm sorry, but with a family and two jobs, I don't have that kind of time. I'll try to work on a zip file to make the image files available sometime soon.

Yes... it's ADW launcher. I'll post the images asap. Unfortunately, LauncherPro only allows you to change the images of the dockbar. ADW allows you to change the images of any non-widget on the desktop. However, in my mod, I actually took the time to change the framework-res.apk and the application .apk's so it shows up changed in the drawer as well. I just don't have time to do that for everyone. sorry!

I know this is kind of old and i am just about to ask quite a bit so I will begin. I recently began getting interested in the steampunk subculture and I remember looking at this and thinking it is kind of nifty. So my questions are 1. Alrighty then, here we go. Infinite Cha0s X now up and running. I have decided to do the Market as an add-on due to various compatibility issues some testers have had. I managed to flash in succession: Market versions 2.2.7, 2.2.11, and 2.3.6 without need to freeze the MarketUpdater, or wiping ANYTHING. Not a single force close. However, even trying to flash a themed version of the same one included in the rom (2.2.11) failed for some of my other testers, sometimes not even showing up in the app drawer at all. Haha! Thanks for the kind words, and I was thinking the SAME thing, and was almost thinking of posting it before I noticed you wrote. I know the Motorola stuff isn't as big over here, but was hoping for SOMEONE to notice this. LoL Guys, if you are running Liberty, and you like blue at all, you'll really love the amount of depth and detail that my theme has... Don't be scared. Peace.

Good:
Deeply themed!
Good colors!
Nothing really missing
Bad:
Images aren't very sharp
It doesn't look super professional and looks like this theme: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1002986 except yours looks better.
But I think if you could sharpen up the images a little bit to make it look a lot more pro and maybe more minimalist this could be a great theme!

Hey man, thanks for props and constructive criticism. Unfortunately I know of no way to make images sharper, as most of the images are found online, and I don't know any repository of hi-res icons to pick and choose from. Also, my theme came out well before Bruised Steel, just not for the Dx, as I had a Droid 1 previously, but I'm glad you like mine better. I dunno anything about being super professional, as I have no schooling or training in image manipulation, so I had to go with being as thorough as possible. I'm just someone with too much free time on their hands. LoL Anyway, have a good one.

Beyond the Messaging icon and the little + symbol in the dialer picture, I'm not sure what you mean about the images not being sharp? I don't see anything else that isn't at least standard quality icons. Please elaborate.

Maybe they are judging the low res sscreen shots without actually installing the theme....i installed it just to try it and it liked beautiful...but the version I used was one I ported with Wugs...so the 3g icon didnt port directly over to GB that I'm using..... But loved it and planning on doing a re port once Wug updates his porter

Just checked yours out and, you're right, its easy to have "sharp" and "professional" images when you just recolor existing images. Man this forum is full of douche bags!!

thanks for not even having the common courtesy to bash my Bruised Steel theme on its on thread. you should remember that most themers do this for themselves and don't have to share with you. if you don't like it.... Don't use it. you Sir are the real douchebag.
To creator of infinite chaos... Ran your theme for a couple days. didn't notice any quality issues with images. looks great keep up the good work.

I have threads, just haven't posted them here, thank you very much! I have never, and will never "bash" another's theme. But, if you're gonna talk **** about someone else's themed images not being "sharp" enough when all you do is change the hue on yours, you SHOULD be called out, IMO! I am "up and coming" and have only been theming for a couple of months now but, I'm just on the other forums most of the time. XDA isn't the ONLY forum, yeah?

Just a request..You and some developers should now focus and work towards bringing back GTX. It was and is one of the best thing for HD2....

possible you will be surprised, but the whole team (20) members around CHT and Laurentius26 new Platinum Rom version 2.4 will be have GTX, shortly. And some time after a really amazing GTX advanced theme...and then...and then...ops now it is leaked out.... pssssst

I have found it back, the tiger wallpaper. Here it is, so as i said.

There is a really big team formed the last few weeks. Think of CHT, Laurentius26 roms (the cool once), really good skinners and a lot of other and old xda people in the background. But it needs a litte bit time , because the roms must be ready, 25 tabs must be tested (a new thread comes up for that), and then the other things

Its always good to know that something is being cooked....and when you know its GTX than who cares about time....
but after seeing the screenshot you know its kinda hard to wait.....

I was hoping this theme wouldn't die. It's just too beautiful. If this does come to fruition, I will be so happy. GTX is just so pure from a design standpoint. Elcondor's reasons for not completing the theme I thought were to a certain degree true - why dev for a dying OS? But I was always hoping someone would take it up.

It's hardly a leak - XDA did a story on this theme a long time ago - I think they titled it - "Equilibrio Sense - A Dream that never was...".

plus now its being developed by a team instead of some individual effort (no disrespect) so outcome would be worth the wait...

Maybe you weren't aware of that and if you plan to spend more time working on this maybe you should take some harsh critics and make it looks like something people might actually enjoy and you can be proud of.

Well you will see that this is not MY theme. I only ported it to the TF. I did change the color to a darkerblue but that is ALL I did. And if you do not have anything good to say then do not say it. If you do not like the theme then do not use it.

I and many others appreciate the effort, but I agree with the criticism you've received already, though I can also see that you can't deal with it well at all.

Ugly is harsh. Doesn't suit the rest off the color scheme for android is more like.... the changes (color changes) are too pronounced
... they stick out like a sore thumb. Its like kids that have neon lights under their car. Appreciate the work tho

I don't recall anyone ever complaining about your PRIME! v1.5 themes... I love what you did there and will wait patiently for the red, green and beer (I mean gold) version. Taste is nothing to argue about. If people don't like it they don't. As long as the theme doesn't mess up anything it's only their opinion and nothing more!

I do not mine people's opinion but if you do not have anything good to say then it is my belief that you do not say it. If people do not like my themes then they do not have to download them.

Definitely! But just calling it "ugly" doesn't help anyone. It's like saying that your coffee from FiveBuck's this morning tasted bad...

If you says to the guy or girl who did your coffee that it tasted bad then maybe it can be improve and next time be tastier.
But you don't seem like you are willing to actually listen to criticisms.
In case you do, here some basics things.
Your blue isn dark, its just a pure blue (0 0 255) it is not a color you ll see anywhere cause it's way to bright and doesnt work with anything that is not as bright.
It works on a white background like in gmail but hardly on a black one like everywhere else in android. It's hard to see and doesnt match the tone of the default honeycomb background (due to its overstaturated blue nature).
In the settings menu you use icon with this same ultra bright blue on a dark background WITH AN ADDITIONNAL BLACK SHADOW, What the point of that?!
The google search bar is just.. awfull, there s no better word to describe it. It s blurry and pixelated and hardly lisible.
On the other hand the virtual control key works ok because they are mainly white (due to the big specular on it) with a blue glow on a black background.
See? natural order! White -> blue -> black = works like a gradient
Settings: Blue -> black -> dark purple = doesn't works
google search bar : Black > blue > white > dark purple = wtf ?!
