i was browsing thru the win mobile 7 section in this forum and found these really cool concept.. hope someone can make widgets like those... anyone wanna try developing these widgets and apps ?
Widgets request :
1. Simple Clock widget (top right of screenshot)
2.Square Weather widget
3.Calls (miss call count) widget
4.Message (unread msg count) widget
5.Square Music control widget
6.Frameless Photo widget (like the boy & girl smiling in the screenshot)
This would be the best theme of any kind !!!!
Beautyfull concept! if I knew anything about programming I would do it myself...
Download SweeterHome 2 and give it a whirl. It's the only home replacement I know of that could accomplish something very like this.

Hi folks ^^
As you know Apple is going to bring out Ios 5, now I have seen a screenshot of what it looks like, I think it acually looks pretty cool.

Then a guy in a IRC came up with this picture of touchwiz,
Looks pretty much the same.. but as we know touchwiz widgets don't run on any other launcher than touchwiz.. neither does any apple stuff..
I'd like to ask you guys if you know any good alternatives to these widgets =D
especially for the weather widget, but if you know a good calendar/mail/msg widget(like in the apple pic) please
The widgets from TWLauncher (clock and weather) are working on ADW Launcher EX.

Click to collapse
you could try Colorize (scrollable agenda / messages / RSS / contacts etc.), agenda is really nice, liked it the best of all I've checked
Hey guys! I wanted to show you my very simple yet elegant lock screen and homescreen! Let me know what you think! The details are below the pictures. [:

Icons are from the 'Mianogen' icon pack on the play store.
Wallpaper is HERE.
Lock Screen is widget locker and the slider is HERE.
None of these are made by me!
PS. I am using the stock launcher but I am using Icon Themer and Xposed Framework to theme my system icons!

I kicked off my first UCCW project with a very simple task – a widget to display the next alarm time on the screen. As you can see from the graphic below its nothing fancy, no icons, just a hotspot to open the clock app when tapped.
The problem I have is illustrated by the bounding box around the widget when placed on the screen.

The UCCW format I selected from the menu of available widgets was "UCCW 2x1". The 1×1 made the text too small. Obviously the bounding box is far too deep. But at that size no other desktop icons can be placed immediately below that widget,.and I can't resize the bounding box.
Clearly I'm missing something here as other UCCW projects I have looked at by other people don't seem to have this problem.
Advice most welcome.
No one ????
If there is a better place to seek UCCW questions please advise.
Thanx.

Nova Launcher Prime, KWLP (live wallpaper), Nucleo UI (icons), Power Toggles (toggle widget).
Things would look much better rooted. I want to get rid of the softkeys, including the space it takes; I can hide, but Nova will not use the space. Also rooted I can change density per-app. I also want to learn KWLP to make my wallpaper as I want.
My current one:
... XDA decides to automatically rehost this with less colors and dithering :|
Hello everyone, I was wondering if such a widget exists that essentially creates an adjustable black box that you can send behind widgets (send to back).
I use an old widget called "Advanced Clock Widget" that lets you hide the clock and data, essentially doing the same thing... but that's all I use it for.
Like this.

These are different widgets with transparent backgrounds and this helps create a uniform look.

Maybe you can use KLWP (Kustom Live Wallpaper) app for this purpose. It also has a Widget version.
It basically allows you to create customized live wallpapers and widgets.
thanks ill give it a shot
