[Solution] How to erase/disable Market automatic re-install - G1 Android Development

So i have tried all the apps on the market to erase market history and none do the job..
The problem is that even after a fresh wipe, fresh install, fresh partition of SD as soon as enter my Google login on the initial power up, the ****ing market starts downloading like 40 apps and crashes my phone.. I have tried everything i usually have to wait until all this **** gets downloaded before i can even see the main home screen.. Now this never happened with 4,2,15 which is what i have used until some of the RC1-3.. Im sure its something really simple but im stumped..
Basically i want market to NEVER remember what i have, and never automatically download it.. It completely ruins a fresh install, and makes my phone super laggy cause all this **** is happening at once in the background..

I've found that if I skip signing into my Google account during the initial setup wizard and instead load the market and sign in at that point, the automatic re-installation doesn't happen. All of your previous apps will show up in the "Downloads" section but they won't actually start installing.
The whole automatic reinstallation thing is something that I'm sure was well intentioned but I agree it's a bit of a pain and should have been optional...

yeah, its called MENU, PRIVACY, BACK UP MY DATA is 'UNCHECKED' then you wont have anything downloading... that is, if on the first sign on screen, aftersigning in it ask you to "back up" or something, i cant remember but just dont check it..

haha +1, )))

lol
Privacy is unchecked, and when i first sign in i do not check the final "allow Google to back up my data" and still it downloads..
im gonna try not logging in at start-up, throwing the root market eraser on it, erase it, then log in see if that helps..
thanks for the ideas

Have you got any other voice activation apps installed? I gave "Utter" a quick try, but even though it has support for OK Google hotword detection, I found Utter did end up killing it on occasion, so I got rid of it

Can you think of what you might have installed when it was working fine until it stopped?
Easy street scenario is to try try and clear the cache and data if that doesn't work, factory reset before we get too rambunctious.
Can I give my current app list. So that it could be easy to troubleshoot. These are my currently running apps.
Notification toggle, facebook, applock, cover, wechat, whatsapp ,exdialor, dashclock widget, Google services, glance, light manager, app launcher for dash clock, Google keyboard.

I think it would be best to try and clear the cache and data from the Google experience launcher. Settings---> apps----> find launcher it is blue with a house icon in the middle.
It doesn't look like any of those apps could cause any conflict.

it didn't have any cache, it says total 16kb and cache is 0.00B
Then you will most likely have to do a factory reset I cannot think of anything else.
I just thought that maybe you change one of the hotwords and try that and see if it works, long shot but worth a try,

I thought you could change words to say to make google activate but I could be wrong. If it's still not working factory reset.
If you are using different launcher, try to go back and use google launcher.

in case you have uninstalled "Ignore No More" app and you are still seeing it on your phone screen right under time. go to settings and app, make sure "Ignore No More" app is not running. in case it is running. tap/click it, then force stop, then clear cache, clear data and uninstall it from there.
in case app is not there and is uninstalled and still you are seeing it could be it's shortcut or some other issue. maybe there are other way to completely remove it or it's leftovers from phone.
it also can be done by factory resetting. all apps, numbers etc will be removed from phone by doing this.
that's all i understood and shared.
but do not follow any of my instructions until you understand what you are doing.

Can u tell the purpose that app. Did u search it in app setting, was it installed? In case no, then try this. reinstall it, go to app setting again. Clear cache, data and uninstall it. Hope it work for u.
Just an advice, before factory resetting try searching internet for how to uninstall that app. I'm not sure about the app, so i couldn't find much info and shared simple method regarding uninstalling.

Everything else works fine but when I go to 'Manage Panels' and tap on 'Tap here to download panels' nothing happens. It makes the 'bloop' sound like it acknowledges the tap but nothing comes up. The only thing I tried is restarting the phone, but nothing happens when I try to download panels it just sits on the manage panels screen.
I'm going to try the reset, do you know how to do it on this phone ?

[Q] SAMSUNG ACCOUNT BY pass galaxy S6

Hi guys I was looking in YouTube any videos that can help me to by pass this samsung account. I bought a phone though ebay and I'm really frustrated because they didn't tell me that the phone has a Samsung account locked and it's requiring the old user to let me in. I check that you can by pass using the forgot password and Web browser technique but this phone doesn't let me touch anything just write the old Id. I need help by passing this because it's impossible to me to send it back it will cost lot of money because I live in other country. Hope guys can help me to discover how to by pass this thing I'm already getting crazy. Thanks

Why don't you just ask the person you bought it from for the password?
I did but he said he don't know that whY he sold it
He does not know maybe because its a stolen phone? He can somehow do a password reset via samsung account on any computer.
Once reset you can enter that password on ur phone
Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
Sounds stolen to me.
Definitely stolen. Demand a refund or threaten to report the guy if he doesn't.
The only way to bypass it is if you have access the the original owners email too. Resetting the password on a Samsung account in a browser just sends a new password to the email address that was used to register the Samsung account.
So you are out of luck.
OTOH, once you setup the phone from scratch (ie. do a factory reset) can't you just bypass setting up Google and Samsung accounts at the setup? If you disable all networks (ie. on airplane mode) the phone can't phone home to ask for the original users password. So you can keep using it as long as you have it in airplane mode. Just use it as a dumb phone and get your apks from your pc.
After 3 hours of touch and touch I definitely figure how to by pass this function in the Samsung Galaxy S6 Verizon version.
1. Proceed to go to the locked screen with wifi oN
2. Go to a place where you can write something When The keyboard appears check that you can see a a tools icon its located below at the side of sym button.
3.ok now we are in keyboard settings you need to scroll to the end and enter to the "adjust keyboard size" or " resize keyboard ".
4. In this section write something and then keep press the word that you put and select dictionary
5. Now find the way to access to Google now I don't remember the full process in this section lol
6.follow steps like login into you Google account when finished you will be in Google now
7. Keep your finger touched in the screen and move it to the right side and you will see you account logged "the Google account "
8. Touch the little arrow symbol in your Google account and go to the account manager.
9. Create a new Samsung account and bwaula!!!! Enjoy your phone XD
Sorry I did my best to explain it was my first time and I didn't record everything. Hope it help for you it take me 3 hours of my life that I'm sharing with you guys. Any questions I'll be here

Wow, exploit LOL.
That really doesn't sound secure at all. It's meant to protect the phone from being used again. What's the point if it can be bypassed? I guess it's gonna be patched as soon as this method gets published around the place.
I'm gonna go try it out on my phone.
Great job btw! (as long as you weren't the original thief, cause if you are, then screw you but thanks for the technique too)

I can confirm that this works. Lol, I was rooting around with my phone and manage to reactivation locked my phone which caused me to factory wipe/reset the phone. Unfortunately something weird happened to my samsung account with a whole bunch of processing failed. There is a way to solve that too. Unfortunately, I am unwilling to post more directions since this Samsung Account thing is primarily used to prevent theft.

If you're running 5.1.1 then that method will not work any longer. It's been "fixed" so there is no useful options from tapping the words or attempting to get into the dictionary.

Found a way to get by Factory Reset Protection for our V20's!

What worked for me after trying and trying to find a way around ACCESSIBILITY SETTINGS for hours...was just:
1: Clicking the green setup arrow.
2: Turning off Wi-Fi.
3: Clicking NEXT.
4: Choose KEEP YOUR APPS & DATA.
It then gave me an option to SIGN IN....and immediately ACCEPTED my most recent password!
SIMPLE, I KNOW...BUT hell, it worked for me. Sometimes, the most obvious things get overlooked. Was this just a fluke or is it really that easy to bypass?
I may have missed a step, as I'm no longer in the setup situation...but let me know if this helped you! :good:
I tried this and it didn't work.. wish it would have as that is what I think I triggered whenever I redid my phone.

Damn....yeah. All I essentially did was turn off Wi-Fi, skip setup...then backup from a previous installation. NOTHING else worked, even though one time before, I fixed it, too. BUT...I'll be damned if I trigger it on purpose, just to find out how! LOL. I literally tried Googling for hours yesterday...and EVERYTHING was patched that used to work. I found a way into Google, through Legal Settings in Accessibility....but it wouldn't let me download a file, or set a shortcut to get to split screen.

Hmm. Well for me I don't have a previous installation. And yeah.. I can't find anything either. It won't let me turn off Wi-Fi to skip setup as I guess its saying my phone doesn't have data? Not sure but turning wifi off just keeps me at that screen.
