Adobe Flash Player 10.1
Anyone know if this is the most updated flash player? Running c6 and doesn't have flash. Went to his page that has most stuff missing if younwant and the adobe flash player apk downloads and is a txt file.. would like flash player back on.

What's the name of the app?
Did a search in the Android Market and can't seem to find it. Are you sure it's available in the Android Market?

When you download what you think is an apk and it turns out to be a txt or bin file, just rename it to whatever name and give it an apk extension... install as usual... Works every time.

use a barcode scanner from the market and scan the image above the link and choose open browser. Then let it download and then click on it once it finishes and let it install. It is pretty straight forward. You dont even need your computer to install.

You just move the one file the OP said the rest can stay on your sdcard and use astro to install them at least that's what I did.

Yes astro file manager and no after installing them you can delete the files or back them up onto your computer like i do.

There are 2 versions. One for NON Cyanogenmod ROMS and one for Cyanogenmod ROMS. The Cyanogenmod .apk MIGHT not work for everyone.
AND backup your old market .apk before updating. Just to be safe
No need to rename before installing. I didn't have to.

In order to install, rename it to "Vending.apk" (without the quotes obviously) and replace the Vending.apk in system/app/ using adb or Root Explorer or whatever you would like. That's how I did it at least, using Root Explorer.

Got it working on my device. Found the DL link in one of the other threads on here. It says to change to .apk from zip but it changed it automatically. Looks nice. Gonna start a few dl's to see how well it works. But it looks awesome so far.

i learned of this new MARKET app today and I already have it running on my phone! awesome!... Thanks Conflikt Icey and XDA!!
im running (27.11.2010)MCCM SE V3.4(FroyoStone Sense) and all i did was download the apk... rename it to vending.apk and long-press on it. then i chose "OPEN" from the menu and installed it that way. thats it... worked on first try.

90% os launchers have this permssion: it's for direct call widgets/shortcuts.

Replace the .apk and change permissions. Then reboot.

So how do you get the brand new Google Play Store inverted back to Black? Here’s how! If you’ve already updated to the new Play Store v4.0.25 you need to go into Settings > Apps > Google Play Store and uninstall the update first. This will take you back to the old version. Then proceed to flash the below file in recovery.
Instructions:
– Download the zip (click here)
– Boot into recovery and flash the zip (named BlackMarket4.0.25.zip)
– Reboot and enjoy!
If it doesn’t work, use a file explorer that can view system files and make sure your Store is named Phonesky.apk instead of Vending.apk in /system/apps. Rename it if needed and reboot, then follow instructions above.

I downloaded it from the phones browser. Reboot into CMW, flash zip (should be in the download folder), reboot. I haven't had any problems. It only changes the colors of the new Play Store (4.0.25) and not gapps.

Mine did, too, but I just deleted the update and it went back to the black theme. There will probably only be an update to the theme if there's like, a significant change to the play store.

So how come I found the s8 music player on here's and that install works but other ones will not ??
i would try and install a different one first. might not be compatible with the device you are trying to install it in.
I now remember where I got it origins the gallery apps app can no longer find it tho on there any one else see it?

tab have lower android version so

Ok thanks found a back up I made a while ago
When tab 1st got mm 6.0.1 I was able to download the music app off the play store I can no longer do that tho as it's a newer version on play that dose not support my tab s lucky I made a back up of it after all ??
