Hi dudes and dudettes,
I've been making a little theme during my spare time and today decided to release what i have currently got done. I really hope people like it and its my first theme i've created for the Nexus.
Currently the theme is only for CM 6.0 final as that is what I am currently running on my Nexus. I may port it over to other ROMs but not until I have the free time as I am pretty busy over the next few days.
The theme is in UPDATE.zip for easy application and to get the best results I have attached my .XML for the notification bar colours. Also attached to this thread are my green+mean icon set and dock for use with launcher pro (or anything else really)

Just installed this theme and i really like it.....How do i use your icons and app drawer theme though? I'm currently running cyan 6 final
Hi ppl, thankyou for the kind words!
in regards to the setting icons, I would love to do that but you will need to wait I have a few other things going on right now.
and font, I'm not sure what other font to try as I quite like this one. If you want I can upload the default font so you can revert?
thanks again!

hi mate are you trying to change the icons in the dock or elsewhere? to change on dock just press and holdon the dock, select shortcut then custom icon.
for elsewhere, you need folder organizer from the market which is also free and very useful.

Thank you! Wow can't believe i didn't think of that....So easy. Just figured there was a option in settings somewhere.
This theme looks incredible. Might be enough to make me learn how to make an ADW Launcher theme.
It would be also nice if the height of the widgets was the same. I mean...if I use for example the twitter widget (4x1) in a screen and the google search widget in the next screen their edges don't match.
Try to use the music 4x1 widget in a screen and the weather&news one in the next screen...they match! This is the effect it would be cool to have with all the widgets.
Is it possible? (sorry for my english! )
EDIT: is it possible that the weather&news widget has been "broken" by your customization? It doesn't find my location if I set the geolocation. If i set manually my location all works fine. The geolocation works instead in Beautiful Widgest so I think there's a problem in that widget.
love the work so far, can't wait for next release with more things themed.

not saying this is the answer: but have you checked that 'Use wireless networks' is still ticked in your Location & Security settings. I had a problem with that widget doing the same thing, and then it magically worked when I found it had been unchecked - probably due to me using the 4-corner-tap trick to skip initial gapps setup with each ROM flash recently, therefor missing that option

Hi all!
[ICON PACK]
I've collected your wishes, and put together a few droid guy icons, similar to manup456's Droid iconset.
Credits go to him for the great idea to create the original icon pack, and the basic android icon. I couldn't do this without that.
You can find the original droid icons here.

Download droidz_ext.zip, extract to a folder on your sd. Apply them with Desktop Visualizer, or ADW Launcher icon replacer.
[NEW!]
A good guy, tskramp made many new icons for this thread, now they are available in the new (droidz_ext.zip) zip. Thanks for him!
Here they are:
MY LATEST UPDATES:
I've added an apk installer, it contains the icon pack. It is much easier to apply the icons with this. In Desktop Visualizer choose icon packs option instead of android image gallery.
Big thanks to djmcnz, the creator of the great rom bundle, Kang-O-Rama!
[MORPHS]
Statusbar:
I've added 2 metamorph zips.
The first (DroidzExtended.zip) contains a semi-transparent white statusbar, with custom (mainly android guy) notification icons.
The second one (DroidzExtended_transbar.zip) is the same as the first, but with fully transparent statusbar, with a little shadow effect.
Open zip with Metamorph as a new theme, let it extract, and then apply all.
These are my first morphs, any feedback is apperciated.
Screenshots:
Twitter, inc.
Here's something I did today. This is for Official Twitter app. It's not perfect yet, I couldn't make the smaller widget transparent, because of Twitter's special image handling. But I've added a little twitter droid to that too.
First you have to move com.twitter.android.apk from data/app to system/app. Then download Translucent_twitter zip from below, and apply it via Metamorph.
Screenshot:
Download links: see attached files
And a half-kanged wallpaper (I've only put the Droids onto it
great job on these. just wondering though, do you have a blank image of just the android holding both arms out. i've been wanting to make a few of these myself but needed that and didn't see it in the original pack.

Thanks , finally got bettercut working with helix 2 and loving my setup ... Thanks again for the sick icons
Thanks a bunch!!
ANDROID FTW!!
I strongly regommend Folder Organizer to change icons, it puts them in much better quality than Better cut, plus they won't be buggy because of bad linking (for example Gallery force closed, when I added it either with Better Cut, or Freedhome, or the web browser always restarted when I used the custom icon to start).

We must all agree: ADW Launcher is a killer application for our phones!
Works fast and flawlessly, it's fully customisable, adds more desktops, a wonderful transparent application drawer and so many more.
So, first of all, thanks AnderWeb.
But, in our phones, Xperia X10, the android UI is skinned and has blue elements.
So, it is difficult for home replacement applications to keep up with this.
I extracted the elements from the default launcher (highlights and google search bar widget) and added them to the ADW Launcher apk.
So, now once you install the ADW, you will find that it matches the UI best, as if it was the stock one!
Unfortunately, I cannot add screenshots at the moment, but the modified ADW Launcher is currently my main homescreen... and loooooving it!
If you want, you can give it a try yourself!
Download here

PS: I have asked AnderWeb and he is very OK with me modifying the application a bit.
Enjoy and leave some feedback!

Thank you so much!!
When you press on a shortcut, the highlight is blue instead of orange.
And the little dots on the right and left that navigate you to the homescreens turn up with a blue highlight when you press them.
Also the shortcut launcher button is highlighted in blue when you press on it.
But I don't know if you can capture those on a screenshot.

**UPDATED** 7/7/10 - 5 custom icons, screen-shot updated.
So I got tired of not having certain icons, and went ahead and made 5 custom icons.

added the following 5 icons.

Phone Icon using for google voice
XDA obvious (obviously this is a daily app, and i always have it on the front home screen)
I'm keeping the above custom separate than the original package. As I did not create the rest.
I take no credit for the original set. And have no intentions to.
These icons were not generated for android, there are some icons that do not fit for android os, and some missing.
I took the following http://stopdreaming.deviantart.com/art/Albook-extended-dark-811-icons-117250259 icons and converted from .ico to .png 64x64 to work with the evo icons.

Just wondering....how did you get Godzson's clock to work on Fresh? Have tried multiple times and for some reason I just cannot manage it. Love the look you have going and am trying to reproduce it. Also what launcher is that? I installed the Minimalistic theme (looks great) but I prefer yours. Thanks for the help (and the icons--fantastic!)

Hey is there a Tutorial on how to use these Icons? i been searching all over and No Dice

Sent from my PC36100 using XDA App
Actually I was kinda wondering how to use them myself lol. I tried using FolderOrganizer like you suggested fdot and I was able to succesfully change the icon through the app itself but how do you get it to show that same icon in the app drawer or on the homescreen? For example, in FolderOrganizer i changed the TiKL icon to the custom ptt icon that you made but in the app drawer and home screen it still shows the default one. Would really appreciate some help! Thanks in advance
Yes would be awesome if someone could post a tutorial on how to install these
Long click home screen, choose add wiget, choose folderorganizer item, choose the app.
Wont change the app drawer that I know of. But thats not a feature I would use anyway.

So Since launcher pro doesn't really lend itself to being completely switched to the HTC Sense layout (though it's doable), and I prefer being able to have more than 3 items on my dock anyways, I decided to make a skin Based on The Sense bar that works more in the launcher pro environment. the borders between buttons have been removes, and there is less curve, so more icons will look ok on the edges. Still I usually have to scale down any icons I use though. Anyways, here's some screenshots.
The dock was made based on this file Credit to the original author.
I have included a few of the wallpapers I made that go well with this theme, and the original HTC Sense wallpaper scaled for the DX.
I HIGHLY recommend "Wallpaper Set and Save" to apply wallpapers, as it doesn't resample images at all, and gradients will still look smooth.
I am using Webst3r's SenseX 2.2 beta theme for the notification bar and stuff.

Also I am on 210 display density using LCD density changer.

Some of the launcher icons included are from scratch, some were modified from launcherpro's default icons.
This one is using the Labradorite.png wallpaper that I made, and the homescreen switchers for two of the shortcuts.
UPDATE V02: All the same icons the LP has by default are included in this in a form factor and style to fit.
The zip file includes a PSD file for the icons I have made already, in case you want to see my scale and make your own icons.
DOWNLOAD v02 This link is hosted by me. Please try it before using the attachment file as if there are updates to this, mine will be up to date first.
damn that looks great. actually tempts me to finally go through with deodexing (makes me hella nervous).
only the notification theme needs deodexing. the LP part will work fine without.
Thanks btw!

this is where you installed the theme from, right?: http://alldroid.org/default.aspx?g=posts&t=770
right now im on the early leaked froyo, is that what you're using? a lot of ppl have posted recently saying they're getting stuck in bootloop after trying to install the SenseX theme and i think it may be because of the OTA Froyo update. so being on the leaked froyo i'm hoping this theme still works. i'll go ahead and apply the theme based on your response.
well against my better judgement i went ahead and installed the SenseX theme lol. i only installed services.jar and framework-res.apk since i'm gonna be using your LP dock and didn't want the reskinned widgets. worked great, looks great. thanks a lot!
thanks, again!

1. Download the files
2. copy all the files to your SD-card
3. once installed launcher-pro press the menu key and select "preferences" --> Appearance Settings --> Dock background --> custom --> select the "dock" folder you previously uploaded to the SD-card and select the only file which is there: Sense-esqueDock.png
4. Long click somewhere in the dock for changing a shortcut --> decide which shortcut you want to use --> custom icon --> select one of the images you previously uploaded.
5. play around with the settings if you want to have scrollable dock: press the menu key and select "preferences" --> dock settings --> Number of docks and eventually --> Enable loop scrolling.
Hopes this helps..

Introducing Devbro Appdrawer by me(Devbro)
What is it?
This is a appdrawer replacement. In the normal appdrawers that exists right now, you can only organize your apps in generic ways(alphabetically, more recently used,...) or in folders that make accessing your apps one step further to reach. No more worries. Devbro Appdrawer now fixes this problem. You can organize your apps in folders and swipe to access them. It can be easily replaced with all general appdrawers, just replace the shortcut in go launcher, ADW launcher and etc. Or you can create a shortcut to it for daily use.
What else can it do?
You can organize your folders in whatever customized order you like. It is also possible to uninstall or view each app's info just by long clicking on the icon.
What is the cost?
It is free. No catches of any kind.
What are the permissions for?
I am looking to see how my app will be used by other people. So There is a small code that send me a list of your folders and how you organized them. There is also a list of how you ran your programs.
All data that are being sent are generated from within the app. nothing else is sent. If you do not like the idea you can simply disable it from the settings menu. If you like to do this manually, there is also an option for it in the settings.
sdcard access is needed for backup and restore
Do you like my app?
If the answer is yes, then just use it and tell your friends about it. You can also give it 5stars in the market.
Do you have a suggestion/Did you find a bug?
Just post it here and I will look into it. Thanks in advance.
Do you want to help?
As per suggested, I need a new icon. If you have seen one that I can use post a link here please.
Which feature that you like to see next?
1. dark theme, theming options - done
2. customizable icons
3. new app folder
4. other language support

I am glad to hear I haven't done any major testing on 4.2 yet. Are there any problems?
Good idea! It works fine in my Galaxy s3 with mihome launcher. My feedback is this:
1) app icon should be more like a generic launcher icon. Current icon isn't representative of what most people are used to looking for an app drawer.
2) hide the title bar so it feels more like a native app drawer. Maybe even give the option of a transparent background.
3) default black theme looked ugly because the folder label had a white background. How about making the folder label background transparent and underlining the name instead?

I am seriously considering all your good advices. I am not a graphic designer, it takes longer to come up with more effective graphical designs. Creating icons are not easy it may take me a little longer to create or find one.

It can be easily replaced with all general appdrawers, just replace the shortcut in go launcher, ADW launcher and etc. Or you can create a shortcut to it for daily use.

I've installed the appdrawer and created some groups, but I don't understand what I should be doing next. What are shortcuts?

By shortcuts I meant to put it on your screen as a widget.
The goal of this app is to improve the speed that you find and launch your apps. So you spend less time finding them.
