Hi there..
My friend using Motorola Milestone bought from Starhub Singapore. But now he got some problem where at that time, he turn off the phone to change sim card, then when he turn on back, the phone stuck at Starhub loading logo.
Usually, after turn on, we'll se the Starhub loading logo then the Motorola logo. But now, it got stuck on Starhub logo even waiting for 1 hour. I've told him to try do hard reset (take out the battery). He said yes he already done that bcoz during the loading Starhub logo, he can't press any key, can't turn off and else. Take out the battery is the only way to restart it.
I've ask someone about this, he said to "reflash". I'm noob, don't know what is that and don't know how to do that. But I understand it's maybe like "format".
Can someone teach me how to reflash the milestone?

After tired waiting for people answer.. finally I found the way to solve my problem..
And now my friends phone work fine now..

Ok, I am new to this so excuse me for any stupid mistakes, please.
So, last night I rooted my optimus one (p500) using z4root. Everything went fine, I got myself a rooted phone and I started messing around. I had no problems till I installed Rom Manager today. It asked me to install ClockWork Mod (something like this), I couldn't find my phone but I selected "Dell Streak" anyway! (I know, it's stupid!)
So, my phone restarts, LG logo comes up and goes and now I'm stuck on a screen that says:
Fastboot mode started
udc_start()
That's it, nothing else, am not able to do anything. What to do now? I've been searching the net for ages now but no help. Please, I need some help. I can't even get a new phone because I'm 15 and my parents won't buy me one! Please, help!!
well, I took it to the LG Service Center and they are gonna replace my phone!! yeii!

What did you tell the service centre guys?
Did they buy it? Didn't they ask if you'd rooted/messed the phone?
sorry to resurrect an old thread...anyone else experiences this fastboot mode. easy fix. open androidsdk manager and a cmd prompt with admin escalation, then change the prompt to the sdk installed platform-tools directory and run ../tools/fastboot.exe reboot or reboot-bootloader. one of those commands rebooted my phone properly and up to its flaked out rom. which i proceeded to remove and today updated to the latest official stock 2.3.3 for my optimus one.

Hey everyone,
I managed to root this phone and I figured that the LG Ally and the Shine Plus were the same so I followed a guide on a another forum telling how to force the Froyo update on the Ally which I tried on the Shine Plus (big mistake) now I can't even boot at all let alone in to recovery. It will turn on, flash the white screen with the LG logo and then turn off. Can anyone help me reset the phone to factory or at least make it to recovery or something? Or can someone tell me how to install an image to the phone from my computer? I've looked every where and I have no idea what to do. So thanks for the help in advanced.
Just a quick bump, but I really need to fix this. Anyone?
Wow man, that really sucks. Not really sure what you can do. If you're not even getting to recovery there may be nothing. But don't take my word on it. Just hopefully someone with a solution will reply.

download the LG update tool. Choose your country, then connect your phone to the computer.
It should see it and ask you to update it to the latest OEM software.

I am new and this is my first time posting, but I have used this forum to help me before)Well...Where do I begin....I rooted my Motorola Defy for the first time(this is my second Defy as my old on had hardware issues) and I decided to try to install a custom ROM(CM7). So I looked into it and downloaded Defy2int from the Android Market. I installed it and once it was done, I rebooted my phone and now it will not get passed the Motorola "M". It will load that "M" then turn off and start up again. Every time I plug it into the USB, a white light shows in the LED. I have tried factory reset and nothing. I know about the RSD lite, but my device is not connecting. Is there still a way to connect it? If so can someone please help me and work with me step by step so I do not mess up my phone further....Thank you :/

Make sure you don't have any other USB connection made to your PC.I had same problem..Also if problem still exists try another system.
hey guys i bought the motorola a953 with froyo and i made and succeded to make your upgrade posted in this page here to bring it to ginger...but i had a problem i couldn't add accounts in the account manager it just kept going in crash so i readed there was a fixed sbf for motorola milestone 2 my device but when i did it the device doesn't start anymore it even doesn't let me go in the recovery. it freezes soon after the first M logo doesnt's load the second same one they usually are two and in second i coulded start the recovery unique changement in that was that after the ginger upgrade thanks to ur guide it went from white to red M but now i really dont know what to do i beg u to help me i spent all the money i saved on this phone and now..so please i beg you someone can help me ? it loads for a sec the first M n then black screen freezes like it is in the bootloader but without any typo and also i succeeded to make bootloader start but i cant do anything from there i can just connect to rsd lite and charge sbf but nothing ...nothing works.. please help me thank you guys

before someone coming out and tellin me that there is a Thread about my Problem i wanna say ive really searched i swear
My Problem is that ive stuck in Bootloop after App Update aborting from Play Store. As my phones battery was out of and ive to restart it, the phone starts two times. First the htc white screen and then the htc white screen but for a shorter time. And then the red triangle symbol shows up. I've tried everything in Recovery Mode like Factory Reset wipe cach etc. it doesnt help and HTC wants to have 60 bucks as it was my fault very veryyy bad service i have to say. Btt i dont know how to solve the problem ive read about fastboot adb etc ive readed some information with adb and downloaded ruu files but with them it doesnt work cause my os is higher than supported and s-on. I need your help....
