i have tried that 2 post but by using these post my phone get stuck on sony ericsson logo...there for i have to flash my phone by using SE tool....
now i dont wana flash my phone thats why i ask u ...is fontflasher Is Safe way to change font???
any budy have tried it on there x10i??

Font flasher works fine but typefresh is much better because of the fact that you get more control. The reason I imagine that you had to reflash was probably because you tried to use a font that didn't work or because the file was corrupted.

I believe the dropdown text is an xml edit if you decompile the framework, otherwisr you would need to use a hex editor to change this. I will see if I can find the poat with instructions and post back with a link

I never changed my fonts until i flashed liberty 1.0 and a theme changed the font and after i went back to apex i missed the font so i started to google different fonts and found this forum in xda with downloadable fonts in a .zip file so just flash it using bootstrap

No problem, glad I could be of help. Let me know if you have more questions. I'm no expert, but have a decent knowledge of most of the basics for the X.
cant you just do it like you would on liberty with the liberty toolbox on the market? (if its still there...)
liberty toolbox is for liberty only......

I've got a font pack, it used to be sold in the market but they went bankrupt I think, anyway it has like 70 fonts in it. let me know.....
Um , how do you get one of those fonts from www.ffonts.net onto my phone? Do i need to change the file type?
just install font changer from market it's free https://market.android.com/details?id=com.martino2k6.fontchangerlite&hl=en
and you can then use any TTF in your font
this is another good site for free fonts http://www.dafont.com/
Thanks for the suggestions.
I use the paid version of rom toolbox pro, it has the sony sketch font along with 190 other fonts for your SR. It's a GREAT app and well worth the money if your are rooted.

As far as I know, Rom Toolbox Pro can be used on any android device that is rooted. If you're rooted, I highly recommend it. Hope this helps....
Thank you. I finally have the app working and enjoying lots of great fonts.

Glad it's working for you! Just a reminder..... While using Rom Toolbox Pro and switching to a new font, you don't have to reboot every time you switch fonts. The program WANTS you to reboot, but you don't have to, here's what you do.... Once you select your default font, exit Rom Toolbox Pro and go into your phones Settings/Display/Screen Display/Font Style. Once in Font Style switch to ANY font other than Default font and apply, then, to make your new font stick, just switch back to default font and apply. This method applies your new font from rom toolbox pro EVERY TIME without rebooting. Hope this helps....

Cm9 fonts

Why all the cm9 "addicts" ignore the question: how to change fonts in cm9??
Install Rom Toolbox or Type Face or any other font changer app you find in the market.
if you want to go hard way, those fonts are under /system/fonts. You can delete one of the fonts (e.g. Roboto or DroidSansFallback) and put your desired font there, then rename the font as exactly as the font you deleted. (don't forget to backup).
All the market apps soft brick the phone they dnt support ics. The problem with system fonts is that there are plenty of fonts in that folder and among them is roboto. Question is, how does system know which font you want to set as default...

Replace it with font of choice, but change filename to match Roboto, etc.

There are no settings for it and apparently nobody knows how to do it

The phone keeps bootlooping if you use those apps and even the dev of the app warns you that it does not work on ivs devices. Is it too hard not to post stuff you have not applied yourself on your phone?
If you just keep bashing those who try to help you, you're going to get nowhere in life.

[SystemFontReplacement] Roboto Condensed

if you're like me and hate the provided fonts by lg, than here is a zip i had thrown together for my htc one m8 and flashed on my g3 last night, it worked fine. it replaces all the stock fonts with roboto condensed and looks great! i had not seen a flashable system wide font replacement yet so i figured i would put this here for anyone who is not a fan of the default fonts! as usual always make a nand before flashing just in case but i have flashed it on stock ROOTED and on ZoneROM for t-mobile without any issues. enjoy!
Any way of doing this without having to flash? Right nw I think the Tmo version is the only one with an unlocked bootloader and can flash things via cwm/twrp

x2 would love this font but can't install custom recovery on ATT variant until bootloader is unlocked.
unfortunately I myself am at a loss aside from using a font swapping app from the playstore which all require root but I have seen those causing bootloops in other threads i was not sure about custom recoveries on other variants yet so i just posted this here for the sake of sharing it on the general forum as opposed to only the t-mo. hope you guys get recoveries soon!
What font comes stock? Not sure what roboto condensed looks like.

not sure what the default font is but here is a screenshot of my settings menu with roboto condensed font :cyclops:
Thanks for the font - worked great on D851. It replaces the "NewSmartGothic" font with Roboto. Doesn't change the name of the font, just changes the font itself.
Can u make an apk for LG smart World ?
In order to put this font without root...

They do, you just have to get them from the LG SmartWorld "store." It can be found, among other places here: http://us.lgworld.com/web.main.dev
There's also a place for people to submit apps, so I'm assuming fonts can be submitted as well.
Ok i know and already use LG smart world, but i cant found roboto font...
What is very strange is roboto is coming With Android, and i found roboto font in my phone With a file explorer, but i cant see it in the LG os ???
