If anyone is interested in the following SPB apps for Windows mobile, I have some keys that I am no longer using since I just bought a Samsung Captivate.. I am NOT selling these.. I am giving the serials to you for free, but only to one person.
The following SPB Applications are still available. Please post a reply in this thread with the name of the software you want. Do NOT PM me.. These serials will be given on a first-come/first-served basis. 1 app (or suite) per person. I will PM the 'winner' of the software the serial.
SPB Mobile Shell
SPB Weather
SPB Backup
SPB Online (Nolonger available from SPB Software House, but I have the CAB.. Includes SPB TV, SPB Radio, and SPB Online Games in one neat little app.)
SPB News
SPB Phone Suite
SPB Wireless Monitor
SPB Finance (Accounting/Budgeting Software)
SPB Bubbles (Game)
Strike-Thru (Strike-Thru) - indicates this software is no longer available.
This software is valued at over $150.00 by SPB.
[EDIT]
MODs.. I just naturally chose to put this on the Topaz forums because I had the HTC Pure, but you can feel free to move this into the General Windows Apps forum if you like. I wasn't thinking about that when I posted this.
Hi there Verrigan. I would very much like the "bubbles" license. For the missus. Thx.
EDIT Many thanks. D/L and registered OK.
I would love to get mobile shell for free

I would like to have SPB Weather. Thanks!
If this software doesn't all go by tomorrow, those of you who have already received serials may re-post and obtain additional serials.
I hate having paid for software that is doing absolutely nothing because I no longer have a windows mobile device.
Hi!
I really want the SPB Online app!
Hi!
I really want the SPB Backup app!
Thx you very much
Hi!
I would like to have SPB Wireless Monitor!
Thanks!
Alright, folks. Sorry if I have been taking too long to get back to anyone.. All requests should now be caught up. I hope you all are enjoying your new software!
[EDIT]
Please be advised: I am about to leave work. Any further requests for the remaining software will have to wait until I get home from my 2nd job.. in about 3 hours.
Alright.. 3 pieces left. Those who got software yesterday, if you want any of what's left, go ahead and post.

I would be interested in the news application.
thanks.
Just one app left!
SPB Finance is pretty cool.. I didn't think I'd like it at first, but once I downloaded my bank info to it, it turned out to be a pretty neat app!
If you need a budgeting app, this could be the one you need. I'll give the first person who asks for it the serial asap, but I am quite busy at work today, and it may take me up to half an hour or so to respond.
Me please! thanks!
Let's give someone else a chance, first. If nobody else asks by tomorrow, it's yours.

I cannot believe the best program i have to buy it is free
SPB Finance if you can
Thanks in advance
All software has now been spoken for. This thread may be closed at moderator discretion.
If anyone is wondering where their serial number is, please check your PMs (Top, right corner of the screen just under where it says 'You last visited'), cause that is where I sent them.
I hope everyone who obtained an app enjoys what they got, and has no troubles with it.
I will now return to the Captivate forums.

hi does anyone know of a realtime mp3 recorder that works on the xda2.
I want to be able to go in the mic input from a PC sound card and record at mp3 direct onto sd card (need about 3 hour recording time)
I know it sound Heath Robinson but I can only do it this way
There's Mnote v1.21 but apparently it doesn't like the xda2

Hi
I'd love a copy of the software. Our company are getting 3 XDA2s and I've been 'volunteered' to find an test out some specific apps for them. Love the site, by the way. Great information here.
oops
Forgot my email address! I'm new to this - as you can probably tell. Sorry.

Why not trial using their free trial period... Since your company paid for the XDA2s I am hoping they can pay for the useful software that you may put on them too. Software piracy is not looked upon lightly on this forum.
Trial software
I was not aware that there was a trial version - and I certainly wasn't condoning piracy. I just thought it would be a way of sussing out whether it was the right product for the company.
NoteM works fine for me, as long as the recording quality is kept on low bitrate, mono (in advanced settings)
Ok just wait....
Ok ill post the link just for yoi all, but do you think its illegal to post warez link here in xda-dev? i will upload it to geocties but still i have no time. i need first to finnish my exams in school, i think the moderator will be mad if i post the link, isn't he?
But i promise to give it to you all......

im new here and i thought id introduce myself. im 20 i live in the states and im in school for computer repair.
but anyway on to the good stuff, i just bought myself a mda from e bay, turns out i bought it from an old teacher of mine, weird huh? ive been trying some of the reg tweeks on here and they work great, ive also installed a jvm.
on to the question, i was wondering if anyone could tell me where i can get free skins like the one from the link below
http://t-mobile.handango.com/Platfo...7§ionId=4725&catalog=30&topSectionId=4725
thats Wisbar Advance and stuff. You can get free skin from their webpage and here as well (do a search) but the software (most) are not freeware.
skaroger867: welcome to the forum!
Please read the forum rules, and try to use helpful topic titles. You'll get many more useful responses if you target the thread correctly.
BTW - have a look in the various "What does my today screen look like?" threads. Very useful ideas on nice themes.

Most of what you're seeing is skins that use Wisbar Advance 2 (WA2) and/or Wisbar Advance Desktop (WAD) The software isn't free, but you can download trials at http://www.lakeridgesoftware.com/
For additional skins for WA2 and WAD, check out the Lakeridge Forums, or even the skins and skin suites on the Sbsh software site at http://www.sbsh.net/products/pocketbreeze/index.php?page=skins and http://www.sbsh.net/products/skinsuites/ . The skin suites also includes skins for other plugins, as well. Also, Sbsh has a GREAT user forum where members are always designing custom skins and icons for the other forum members.
There's more out there, I'm sure. But, those are two of the forums I'm registered on and get GREAT ideas on Today screens and custom looks.
And -- Welcome to xda!!
While there are excellent programs created here by developers, there are always some that you may want to purchase. So I'm asking here, what apps have you purchased that you use quite often and found the cost well worth it for the product. I'm willing to bet there are other threads, as I have read many here, that already suggest certain apps, but most are to cluttered. So, what are you using/have used and liked?
Every app listed in my signature is what I can't live without. None are free but well worth it to me!

Thanks for the suggestions, but I do have two questions for you. First, on the CorePlayer, are you able to covert video files from your PC to play on this, even if it's an additional software. For iNav, is this GPS reliable only on the PPC connections?

Thanks, I use Spb Mobile DVD for movie conversion and for iNav, I use it on my Tilt w/ the built in GPS and on my Laptop via bluetooth GPS.
I have a full license for most of the SPB SoftwareHouse products. I love the programs they integrate together well; Mobile Shell2 / Pocket+ / Phone Suite / wheather
I allso use "Finger Friendly Friends" I cant live with out it, its one hell of an intelligent contacts manager.
Another I cant live without is: Acquasys Pocket Investor by Acquasys
I would be at a loss if I couldn't track whats going on with my invesments.
Thanks for posts, any good weather apps that include a today plugin. I searched for Weather Panel, found the site, but it won't open. Any ideas on something close, if not, better?

Hi,
I put this question up at android.net but that doesn’t seem to be a developer forum, one of the guys said I should try here.
I’ve built an icon and I want people to be able to download onto their mobile phone that then sits in the applications, right next to angry birds metaphorically, that is then a simple a link to my mobile website. Is there a tutorial for that anywhere?
I will want to be able to do that for at least iPhone and Andrioid.
Cheers,
Mike.
Anyone have any ideas, I don’t want to have to try another forum!
Thanks for your help XDA Developer…lol.
Thanks for your help XDA Developer…lol.
I got to the bottom of the icon thing, that’s the easy part, in fact when it comes to programming the app part is the easiest part.
I now have a working model with a PC based administration section linked to a database communicating via a web service to iPhone, Windows Phone and Android. I can CRUD from both the phones and PC. It’s a beautiful package if I may say so myself. Now its built world is my oyster.
You may as well delete me from this forum, as you people don’t seem to share I’m not going to either and I won’t be coming back!
Good luck and good bye!
Mike.
