THIS IS A REALLY MUST HAVE

Some pictures
Price is 157 euro's, which i think is a bit steep, but after you have paid it, you feel its worth it
its the O2 XDAII standard keyboard from the companx stowaway
Expansys no 108739
try this belkin keyboard
http://www.expansys.com/product.asp?code=107436
£32 quid its a nice piece of kit
But can you still charge your xda whilst typing
Yes you can it dont look brilliant, but you can charge it.
I dont really use it at my desk I usually use it at meetings and stuff so I never really tried it.
XDA folding keyboard
Ive bought a second hand xda folding keyboard that looks like the Stowaway one shown above. Its called a 'Stowaway XT keyboard' and sayes you can use it with XDA and MDA series devices. It didn't come with any drivers. I have an Qtek 2020i (XDA IIi equivialent). What drivers do I need? Would anyone be able to send me a link for it or send them to me direct. Thanks a lot.
Tom
Oh thats solves it
It would appear that all I needed was the standard Stowaway Driver (I assumed that I needed a different driver as its not in the Stowaway/Think Outside range) and also to do the Infrared disabling mentioned above for the other keyboard(this stumped me for a while).
Now that the thing works I can throughly recommend it as a keyboard for built quality, and the fact that it needs no external power and you can charge the device at the same time. I picked it up for £37 all in on ebay. So look there if you need one.
Slowly after the first (?) (HP 6515) HTC starts doing more GPS enabled PDA Phones....
There is the Mio A700 (uglyyyy), the E-TEN G500 and the Dopod P100
Does anyone already have experiences with these?
I have been using Dopod P100 for awhile. it is perfect for what I need. Screen is a little small but it is compact and skype works great on it.
Battery life is ok.
I bought the Igo Stowaway keyboard with Dell Brand it just has the Dell logo but for the rest its excacley the same, I have paid just 55€ instead of the 119 € which is charged everywhere.
I have nothing to do with the site I just wanted to share such a big price difference it works great for me at my Trinity in the beginning gave some problem cause the deliver the driver from the Dell Axim but you can download the right driver from the site.
You can find it here.

Hope its usefull.

does this work with the dopod d810?
me too, DELL keyboard perfect for trinity
I have the dell branded keyboard too.
It is perfect, and it worked with the accompained drivers just out the box (wm6 udk 6.1)
I advice anyone to buy it. The price is very good and the keyboard is perfect.
this is the same thing but in english
prices are in pounds

I just got one of these Dell Branded Stowaway keyboards delivered to use with my P3600i.
Anyone know how to turn off the type-writer sound? I can't seem to find it in the Axim or sound settings?
Seems to work out of the box fine with the default drivers, but took a while to discover/sync, and had to hold down Fn key while entering all numbers in for the code, which i didn't do correctly the first time.
cheers,
Edit: NVM, there is a small speaker icon at the bottom of the screen (when composing message etc) where the block editor, text scriber/keyboard icons usually are.
I just found this on www.dealextreme.com
http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.6443
going for $64.50 free delivery, though I am not sure if they can deliver to Australia, it isn't Dell or Stowaway, it is MSI, same company that make motherboards and etc.
They also have a Bluetooth Mouse if your interested.
anyone found something cheaper in Singapore? runs on BT as well.??
I was looking at this

does this work with dopod d810?
as it's bluetooth, it works with all pda phones
i wanna get it
but i dont wanna spend huge bucks knowing that it wont work though
think it works
but the reviews i read of it say that it's generaly horrible
wha????
really???
because i wanna use it for
1st - my pda phone
2nd - my computer
where did you read the review?
i want the link XD
i saw this compatibility list
http://www.thinkgeek.com/computing/input/8193/detail/
i dont see any dopod d810 there
only dopod 818
i doubt they keep that list uptodate it's alot of work to get every new pda to test it
i dont have the link to the test anymore as it was along time agoe but i'm sure you can find plenty of tests on google
i only know that this thing
doesnt work with those in-built bluetooth computer
so i guess i'd have to get those USB bluetooth dongle
but i dont know if it will work for WM6 dopod d810
specially WM6 was just released right?
I bought one but gave it back
I bought a laser keyboard but the real problem is that it must be at a complete flat place, so in your car you must always ware a peace of wood or somthing like that and the second problem is that it just is visseble when its quite dark, you can't see the letters in the full or parcial sun.
I used it whit the M700 and instaled special for the keyboard the latest rom so gave my waranty away, but couldnot get it running as I wanted, so I bought a bleutooth Igo keyboard.
Willem
if you have it working then you may be able to help him

Hi All
checkout this video..

It's of a guy opening his new orbit 2. Mine's not arrived yet but what struck me was that this package seems to contain a windscreen mount for a car + a car charger. Does this come as standard with the o2 orbit 2 or only with the version bundled with the sat nav software ?
thanks
Jeff
Indeed, the packaging is very sleek! A wonderful device with wonderful accessories! I love the box!
And I find the Orbit2 much much nicer than the Touch Cruise. My only complaint is about the rotary wheel - it's a bit too easy to rotate so sometimes when you want to push the down button, you accidentally rotate the wheel. But it's a thing one gets used to.
tbh i sent my orbit2 back to o2. i much prefer my touch dual. it lacks gps and wifi but that is fine by me the orbit2 seems huge compared to the touch dual..

Oh, come on! A PPC is what it is because of all the connectivity options! The GPS and the WiFi are the best features of the PPC along with the touch screen. And Orbit 2 is slim enough.
New o2 orbit 2 arrived yesterday complete with a small crack or hair on the LCD screen under the touch screen/flush cover. Great.....
O2 are swapping it out.
also I appear to have the full kit with co pilot software and windscreen mount even though I didn't order it !
strange.
It comes standard, although the CoPilot install that comes on the standard doesn't work without formatting the card and installing it from the DVD.
They would of charged you and extra £50 for copilot, but you don't need to waste money when it comes with it. The Touch comes preinstalled with TomTom, and O2 being a bit cheap went for CoPilot
