I searched via google and also this forum but couldn't find an updated source for swype for my N1...
Is such thing still available now?
I installed the beta version months ago but already expired...
If you arent in the beta tested for swype then asking it here is warez. If you are a beta tester then you can download updated swype from swype installer.

So, seeing as though the 2.1 leak was an Eris build, do any of the Devs think that perhaps we would be able to download the Skype for Android and have it work if we are using that build ???

give me for verizon users only when trying to open it using fresh 2.0c rom
same with damage control 1.0
If they are Sprint based Hero ROMs, it will not work. It's the same situation with the NFL Mobile app before they set it for all carriers. It sucks, but I'm sure Skype will be available from all carriers soon enough.
I still have the Skype beta apk, that still works. I can upload when I get home.
Tried this version on my X10 but it only crash. Anyone more that have tried this version and got it working??

I downloaded the OPs version from another site and it does crash.
however the stuff I get from the beta is 1.56something and it works well.
Still dont understand why the beta installer doesnt install the latest version.

Found this on the Droid Incredible forum. As long as the Rom can be themed it will probably work on those roms. There are two versions. I'm using the red version with the red glass theme for Enom's latest Froyo. Check it out. If this has already been posted, mod please delete thread. As of 8/1/ 2010 this is working.

I' ve been running Miui since the early days. I have the Swype release by dedrack and it runs ok on every CM7 and Miui build and as long as I choose Miui as my dialy system, Swype is my primary keyboard. But after the 1.6.24 version, this Swype by dedrack stopped working. It says that the Swype version was made for another device and will work with limited functions.
Today I installed a fresh 1.7.22 from the scratch and downloaded Swype from beta.swype.com, because I' ve been stuck on 1.6.17 due to this problem. I thought that everything will be fine, but Swype didn't work, it gave me an error. It said that there was a problem with the installer and asked me to reinstall, witch I did but no sucess.
Does anyone of you have the same issue, if so , do you have a clue on how to solve this? Thanks in advance.

After the third try, it works! Thank you a lot my friend. Now i´m on 1.7.22 fully operational.
still after many attempts no success here.can please somebody explain me how to uncheck the swype after selecting default keyboard as android during the process of generating licience.thanks in advance.

Ill second that one i am using Synergy RLS1 would love to have the gingerbread keyboard again the market gingerbread keyboard is capable of obtaining the information you enter (passowrds usernames ect.) any help would be great!
