What's using my data? Help please - Captivate General

Is there anyway I can check what applications are using data and how much they are using? I've noticed that I've been using a lot of data and I suspect it's happening when I'm not even using the phone.
Started happening after I flashed to JM2...probably just coincidental.

I've been having this same problem.
This started after I went back to stock to apply Superrooter, and sideloaded the XDA app.
Have you done either of these?
All but super rooter.. Using unleash the beast

I have this happen often as well... the common "fix" is to uninstall/reinstall, I guess.
Tis poopie... I have been able to reply but I tried to add to favorites and force close.. Gonna try the reinstall thing I guess.

let me know if reinstall works :x .. i get the same issue.. is it the app itself?
May be the app... After reinstall I can reply but it randomly force closes now. Not sure.

The only way I can reply w/o force close is with wifi turned off. Then it works like a charm. At least for the xda app

I am having the same issue, every time I post using xda app I get a force close. I've seen others post about similar problems but I haven't seen anybody mention a solution.
Any ideas?
Edit: I get the FC on wifi and 3g.

Doesn't matter if i have wifi on or off, it force closes.

There is a thread on this from a month ago or more in the Vibrant forum. XDA app is based on TapaTalk, so it is no wonder the 2 both have problems.
No one seems interested in fixing, but many of us have the problem.
I un installed it and re installed it and that seemed to fix my issue. So far so good, 1 week and counting.

Mobile data use and problems

I'm loosing 50mb over night when I'm not even using my phone, how can I find out what's eating it. Also when on wifi data pops up ever 30secs and then dissapears which shouldn't be happening

Try OSmonitor, it will tell you what's using data
I'm sure there's a few more that actively record usage, but OSmonitor should be fine

When screen times out, browser automatically travels back one or two pages, Help!

This problem is extremely annoying. I have stock gingerbread g2x, and when I turn off the screen or it times out on its own, unlocking the screen will cause me to go back one or two times on my browser, effectively making my life miserable. Has anyone else experienced this?
Is this with the stock browser?
Try using dolphin it opera

I have never experienced this. Try a factory reset?

You are most likely running out of memory. Try uninstalling some of the apps that run as services. You can check this from the application management.

No, this is surely a bug with the half-baked gb rom lg released. I experienced this bug right away after updating to it.

Its not a memory issue due to apps, its a new phone with hardly anything installed. Should I flash to cm7?

..... And it does it with opera and Dolphin.

No sound or voice from the phone

Hello all. Has any one lost voice, and sound from their phone? Every thing else works, including playing music, Pandora music, and system sounds. But when I go to use the phone I cannot hear the person on three other end, and they cannot hear me. Any help be appreciated.

Maybe a local network problem...???
What's the last major thing u did to ur phone before this started happening ?
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I777 using xda premium
I charged the phone. The system ROM is practically full. I need to learn how to purge the System Rom, to see if that helps.

It's not the network, I checked that last night.

Ok, I found the issue. Using Titanium Backup, I removed some not needed system files, and apps. Everything is back to normal.
