The solution to poor in-call volume - XPERIA X10 Themes and Apps

Just came across this app while browsing - Louder Volume Hack.
http://androidaudiohacks.com/home/application
Wondering if any of you guys have used it and whether it does improve the in-call volume??
The phone needs to be rooted in order to use it.
UPDATED: Ignore my above post...it states on the website it doesn't work for Sony Ericsson phones

He there,
There is one thing you may try to do. I have read about it in review about x10 somewhere. One reviewer played long movie on his mobile and put the volume on max. And because of speaker was out loud for long time it helped to increase it's output volume. Maybe there is something fimilar you can do for in-call volume?

Cant get it to work on my x10a with Rogers on 026 firmware. Says some files weren't copied. Tried it a few times w/o success.

"Yes. It works."
Can you explain us how it works for all of you?
Dont spam this thread, this application DOES NOT work in X10.
Meltus, the creator of that doesnt support X10..
Check this before you say again that it works for you..

Audio Booster app or hack for x10?

Hi,
is there an app or hack for making x10 audio louder? i mean all audio , ringtones, incoming calls etc..
thanks
There are some for android in general, but I think you need kernel access for that.
Specifically for the x10, haven't seen one so far.

You haven't seen one for x10, because we don't have access to bootloader/kernel or something else...
If you download lvh (louder volume hack) you won't get far...

PowerAMP has a equalizer and it kinda boosts the audio with the "gain" option.
Try it.
Prey for the devs to crack the damn bootloader already, if not...go for Xperia Arc, the speaker of that thing is off the hook man

You have to sign in to download it
i don't like to use that kind of apps. your speaker will not take it for along. better use some EQ app and cut off everything below 200Hz and then raise the volume.
any1 notice much difference?

there's already a thread on this topic, plz use search button.
I would request Mods to close this thread.

Share the settings you use for equalizer in WALKMAN.

How do you prefer to listen to your favorite music?
Please share the settings you use in WALKMAN and help everyone to make the most out of Xperia L.
Here's mine...
I use viper4android(far far better than walkman default equaliser)

I just use Clear Audio+, sounds great with all my different Sony headphones.

This is the settings I use.
But before I checked Clear Audio+, I boosted the bass, because I listen to tons of house, classic disco and jazz.

Ported Walkman in CM11 is sucks and those DSP manager equalizer is sure crap. Alternatively, use shuttle music player on play store. Works great with built-in equalizer.

Absolutely. It is possible. A friend of mine uses Walkman on Nexus 4. Simply download it, someone must have uploaded it.
But porting Sony's in built-in sound enhancements is tricky.

You're welcome.
I have it almost max since the volume is a bit lower than what I want. I use the earphones that came with the phone and a MDRZX100A, both volumes were pretty low with the latter unfortunately lower. Dunno if using other headphones would make the volume louder. I also use SoundBoost app.

Well I belive that is best set up for it:
400 at +3
1k at +1
2.5k at +3
6k at +5
16kHz at +7
Clear Bass at +4
Hope that helps u guys, I've been use that set up for a while n it's good for sound, u have bit touch on bass but not too much of it n bit of louder kick, it's all balanced quite well, so yeah enjoy ur music like ;p
Mine. I found this settings long time ago and it was surprisingly awesome! I flashed @androidexpert35 's port and it works perfectly on latest cm12.1. All of the function work well!
