I just flashed Duttys CDLC v5 ROM and its my first COM 3 ROM (with the start button at the bottom).
I think that the size of the font in the two buttons is way to large, so is the any way to change the size of the text in the two buttons?
Ask developer of this ROM.

Hi to all,
I'd just formatted my PDA and when I write e message the font size is too big (In preference->System->Screen) I've put the smallest size of the font but only in the part of composing message (only sms) the font remain too big.
I remember that there's a register key to modify to set the correct size font but I don't remember where it cud be...
Can anyone help me?

Hi all,
I notice that the popup menu spacing for the WM6.5.x ROMs are incredibly big, about 30-40% bigger compared to my WM6.5 Acer S200. I'm not referring to the font size nor the separator but rather the white spacing between the menu options. I've set both my S200 and HD2 font size Popup Ht to 800 and every setting in GWES\Menu is identical for both devices. the "Text size" in HD2 "Screen" setting on the HD2 is at 2nd smallest, Acer's is at the middle.
Attached is a screencap of Total Commander on the S200 and the HD2, note the huge difference in available menu options. How do I reduce that white spacing between the menus? My fingers aren't that fat to warrant so much waste of space. Is this a registry difference or an OS setting? Thanks in advance!!
btw, I'm running Miri's Standard v22.1 ROM on my HD2. I tried using other roms too and they all have that huge spacing for the popup menu. I haven't flash my S200 to a custom ROM because it is near perfect.
¿Is there any possibility to get the text bigger?
I've stock ROM.
Thanks
There are some apps available to change fonts and font size. But I think you'll need root for them...
Sent from my HTC ChaCha with CM9 using XDA app.
You have following options:
1) Install CM9 ROM for HTC ChaCha. Under Settings/System/Font size you can change default font size up to Huge. Huge fonts looks very cool and native on HTC ChaCha. The only exception is System Apps program which has 3 tabs on top "Downloaded", "Runnning" and "All", - and you cannot see tab title "All" because it is out of screen borders (but still selectable on touchscreen).
2) Replace system fonts with larger font. There are fonts which by default are larger comparing to standart DroidSans or Roboto. Also, you can try to scale a font using font development programs (like FontForge). I've tried to enlarge Roboto to 120% of it's standart size. I've applied on my device and it was working, however some characters no longer were properly hinted and aligned and I could not fix that problem with FontForge.
3) Use application or app launcher which can enlarge fonts. Like "Big Fonts" or Go Launcher. I have no experience with these apps.
4) Use application which alters LCD density. This actually will enlarge not only fonts but all the graphics on your screen. I did not tried it, since it causes other problems.
I was able to modify Roboto font by increasing it to 115% using FontCreator app without noticeable aligning/hinting sideeffects.
Font looks ok on CM7.2 ROM, however on few places text overlaps and is cropped from top.
I have 2 x Moto G's: an "original" and a 4G one - both bought in the UK.
Holding them side by side earlier today I noticed that the "default" font in the 4G one appears bigger than in the old one. I am referring to the text that appears, for example, under the icons in the start screen, and in many of the standard ROM apps.
The only way that I know where this font size can be changed is under Settings->Accessibility and then tick "Large Text", but this is disabled in both...
Any idea what is going on? I would really like the old one to also have the larger font (ticking the Large Font option messes up the appearance of some apps.)
TIA.
PS:: both are running Android v4.4.4
