I seem to recall an app that used your camera to map an environment
so that it would capture it in all of its 3d glory. I've searched and searched
and wonder what happened to it?
Does anyone remember?

Hey man thanks for the effort, but it's not it.
It might have been a BB app (former Storm 1 user here)
What it did was you took pictures and essentially recreated the environment.
The floor, the ceiling, from and back, left and right walls were captured, and
what you would do is drag the next picture and attach it to the previous one
and before you knew it you had a pretty faithful recreation of the room you were in...
My old age memory!
I believe I've seen Google Goggles do it. It was on some picture ad and I downloaded the app, and couldn't figure out how to get to that one feature.

a friend just showed me an app on her iphone called hipstamatic which easily makes photos in this 70s polaroid/lomo-style.
is there any similar app for windows mobile?
i know you can do this in post but it s more fun to have the result right away.

this app looks a bit promising but judging by the screenshots and the comments on wm-marketplace its not that good.

and there - neatly encapsulated - you have the reason why people don't bother developing great s/w like hipstamatic for winmo. it's too easy to crack, people are not used, or inclined, to pay for apps like this, so why should they bother.
i would love (and would pay for) hipstamatic for my hd2.

vintage pic is not that great. having used hipstamatic for quote some time and changing to HD2, I'm a little disappointed that there isn't a decent camera app for winmo.I'm still waiting to hear about something coming out for this phone. i would pay for hipstamatic again to use on my HD2.

As an Ex-iphone user, i loved too playing around with photo applics that add effects to pictures, i.e. vintage look, polaroid etc... Can you recommend on any applications for HD2 of the same nature?
I have found VintagePic in the marketplace, but i can't purchase it since my credit card does not match any of the countries in the list. Any other suggestions?

I dunno if they have that for WinMo, but I did find this one cab that turns your phone into a lightsaber, pretty kewl.

I might be wrong but I think I saw this on the front page a while ago. Good shout to get it up there tho. My memory ain't what it was.
This software is amazing, i've been playing with it all day. Its just as good as my brothers DJ kit apart from that you get a mono sound when you are monitoring one song while the other song is playing.

Could do with auto cue to skip the silence at the start of tracks though, and of course for our HD2's to have two 3.5mm outs!

Yeah ive had this app for a while, dont really use it alot but cant find where i read about it, at the time there were several users who didnt think much of it and referring to other similar apps. Cant remember the name of them though.

Since there currently isnt a free version of this available legitimately i am guessing that you are posting links to illegal software. Please dont.
hi guys. i have been searching the market for a good workout log. some are okay but some are bad. i cant find that one good one. i want one that would just let me write down the name of the exercise (not just pick one from a list that probably doesnt have my workout like in other apps), how many reps and the weight and keep it saved. also i want it to be like a calendar type of log to put in the logs of the days that i work out. is there such an app? any links or barcodes to similar apps would be appreciated to try out

yea i got the apk from here cuz i used to have it, wiped my phone and when google brought all my apps back, it left out that one. looked in the market but nothing. and then someone else told me their website was down...weird...but yea i got mens health and body fitness as references for different workouts and routines. i have tried work it out and workout coach and they both suck. so far gymbook is the best for logging in workouts but it still lacks the calendar logging feature which i think is important to keep proper track of your workouts. oh well this will do for now

i have used this but back when it first came out n it didnt beat body fitness but ill try it now and see how its like

Looked around hope this hasnt been covered but if your like me and are an avid CM6 user period then you know the 3-D gallery really isnt too impressive (to say nicely) well I found another gallery that compatable not as great as the htc but havent seen that successfully ported well here it is not sure if it can be installed through Astro or those methods but I was able to ADB push into system app and *wow* it really made my day to have a faster and not so over the top gallery. Well enough babbling here it is enjoy!

sure you can, unzip and place the attached file in the folder you dont want in the gallery and reboot. this gallery app ignores this file though which is stupid
I found quite the opposite. If you simply remove the picasa sync, the 3d gallery is prob the fastest out there. Have you tried that?

Okay Mr DonSims youve expressed your dislike for gallery I posted (2 posts within an hour both negative) however I didnt design this I jus dont like the 3D one and have read others dont as well so I figured Id offer an alternative. Maybe you should design something better rather than complaining and last I checked this was a development site not TMZ so marinate on that.
Settings, Accounts & Sync, Click on your google account and remove check from Picasa... Try it and let me know...

its DomSim and my first post was asking why this was better, while at the same time pointing out flaws in this gallery. and my second post was aiding another forum member. nothing over the top or anything require a "personal response" from you. chill out my friend, breath a bit and you'll feel better. i am entitled to my opinion and since this is a public forum, i am free to share it as long as it abides by this forums rules, so " marinate on that" and keep your call outs to yourself as i did not direct anything at your personally.
