I've upgraded to 2.2, but miss the original HTC clock. Anybody got an apk they wouldn't mind sharing? (Thanks!)

I don't want the widget. I'm looking for the application.
The way I understand it. If you're running a 2.2 version that has Sense UI removed (like I am) The HTC clock won't work. It's part of the HTC Sense UI.

Correct.
If you use aiccucs you can install it but it will also add the HTC lockscreen.

I Hope I am putting this in the right place, if not I am sorry!!! I was wondering if there is a way to add the 3d app drawer that is on Launcher pro onto htc sense ui? If anyone knows of a way please let me know I will be greatful!!!!!!! [email protected]
No it's not
Just use LauncherPro.
I like the some of the htc widgets that sense ui has
there must be a way to port that 3d app drawer over
As far as I know the app drawer isn't an app, and it's part of the default home app. The reason LauncherPro has the 3D one is because they wrote that all themselves - they control EVERYTHING.
LauncherPro Plus has started creating widgets that are almost identical to the HTC widgets. As of now, only the People widget is released, but more are on the way.

I agree 100% and if anybody finds a how too I'd be interested in it too.
Could a theme change the app drawer?

No. It isn't possible. Move on to a superior launcher and get replacement widgets.

Are you sure about that? There has never been a mod to an htc app?

I have tried everything i can think of before and I could never get it to work is is a part of the home screen I would even settle for adw with 3d like I have with froyo on my droid
The people widget for launcher pro is it something that needs to be downloaded from the market or is it in launcher pro already. I didn't see under widget in launcher pro so I wonder if it needs to be downloaded from the market.
It's in Launcher Pro Plus, it's a paid app.

Yes, I'm sure he knows that. That's why he wants to port a LauncherPro feature to Sense instead of switching to LauncherPro.

I did switch to a superior launcher... when I set HTC sense as my default. I've tried the others and bottom line I don't like how they look and I'm not going to go hunt down and pay for apps and widgets that are half as good as my HTC ones.
On here I've tried different themes, roms and all kinds of stuff, and I would really doubt that just changing the app drawer is impossible
Launcher pro (free and paid) allow you to have a 3d app drawer.

I was in the OPs shoes until the other day, you REALLY should give LauncherPro another shot because there are widgets out there better than HTC Sense's. LauncherPro Plus includes a people widget, Fancy Widget = HTC Sense's clock, pure calendar grid= freaking awesome calendar, Pure messenger = way better than friendstream... seriously you should check them out.
I will do that thanks for tip!
I had a 3d one similar to what the Nexus has on my phone.
im kinda new at this rooting thing just wondering if there is a bookmark wigdet i can get similar to the stock htc hero bookmark wigdet. I have a rooted sprint htc hero running cm6 mod
launcherpro plus is good

Launcher Pro Plus ($3 USD) is great and has some HTC style widgets without requiring the HTC framework (required by Sense UI). Search for posts by Signals23, he has themed the those widgets and made them look even nicer. The free version of Launcher Pro doesn't allow the use of the widgets.
I'll try that out thanks for the help
I have a non-sense build of android on my HD2, but I really like the sense version of the calendar widget. Is there anyway I can download and use the sense calendar widget on my build?

It's part of the Sense Launcher--thus you can't pull it because it relies on Sense. :< Sorry man
You can make Android Agenda Widget look nearly the same, scrolls, has all different sizes, very configurable.
Download launcher prosense UI then get launcher pro plus
Alternative
This one is also good...
Rooted the phone. Installed the new ROM.
Now I can't get any of the HTC widgets to work.
Is there a workaround for this?
Which widgets? Like HTC Hub? I rooted yesterday and have flashed both versions of the DHD rom and have no problems with my widgets. I did have to turn on background data for HTC Hub to work though.

What do you mean you can't get the HTC widgets to work? Are you using the Sense launcher? If you switched to another launcher (ADW, LauncherPro, etc) the HTC widgets will not work. They are designed for Sense only

Resizable (to fullscreen) monthview widget for TrickDroid 10
Just push to /system/app/, set permissions, reboot and enjoy
Unfortunately I have not enough posts yet to post in development forums, so I post it here, cause I thought you would like a fullscreen calendar widget
THIS WON'T WORK ON SENSE 4+!!!
UPDATE:
31/05/2013
Agenda widget resized
I'd post screen shots of you want it considered for inclusion and so users can see what you are actually offering.
Screenshot:
Hope you dont mind I put it in ROM thread. And also will be in next update. Thanks

That doesn't exist any more. Htc removed it and many others in sense 5. It will not be ported either as the sense 4.x widgets all use fusion.apk for their image resources. Fusion no longer exists in sense. No fusion, no sense 4 widgets. Sorry, but we should take it up with HTC. They need to know that people actually used the widgets. They removed them because they did studies that said 60% of people don't use widgets. There was a big to do about this on all the tech blogs. I don't buy that myself but that's their excuse.

Agreed. And no more skins, what up with that. Now we must actually modify system app and framework, so switching around is gonna be a pain, there will be left overs unless full wipe, etc...I can just imagine how cluttered threads are gonna be with theme issues. Anyways, couple downsides, but overall I like it.
