WM6 Splash artwork

Got some splash screens you want to see in WM6?
Post them here
I'm looking for two screens, one to replace the splash screen you see on startup (the one which at the moment has TEST UI over it in red), this one must be a 240x320 BMP
Also a splash to replace the WM logo, this must be a 240x320 PNG
I've attached the current first splash screen as well (unfortunately, the forum software compresses the image to JPG so probably best to host the image somewhere else and use tags)

i really think that the htc images that were posted look very nice and should be used for the next release. then people can change that picture themselves if they want.

@Bogdi1988: Where are the files to change on the smartphone to change the boot image and the Operator image ?

i know in wm5 there was a way to change somewhere in the windows folder, and some reg editing. so i am guessing it is the same in wm6.
i remember i tryed the iphone skin for wm5 and that's how it was for that.

Here is the QTEK boot splash. Yes, I agree its pretty ugly.

yes i had me also changed these pics but i'm not sure that we can change the 3 differents pict who can see at hte boot ( green pic - operator pic - Windows mobile pic).

To the authors..... the second green windows mobile logo is fine, needs not be replaced... (IMHO!)
Also note that these are color variations on the same theme..... you can choose a mix of these images.

i like the first one.... the others seem kinda boring comared to the first one that has those little designs... that's my opinion

HTC screens are nice, by the way, is that possible to remove the warning TEST ONLY?

I vote for the HTC screen on boot up, and leave the Windows Mobile screen alone.

HTC Screens from 2nd post look smart.
They would suit all brands too - ie imate, qtek etc

If i can find logos which are in good quality, then is no prob to make it for other brands as well. What i prefer is remove the third screen when booting (the one with operator something) and the second when shuting down (also with the operator cube or whatever). I tried to find the WM5 key where you can change/delete it but without success.

i posted four screens to randmoize various "features" around the 4.... i can make "those little designs" for the 2° screen (the cappuccino one), or can put the hourglass instead of the "starting up", can have the windows flag logo'ed in black&white, etc etc etc
jsut tell me what to do

just put the first one! it looks awesome. and also the two htc pics look great!

Custom moving theme in boot

Take one of gif pictures, rename it in animated.gif copy, paste and replace in windows folder. Soft reset.
You can make your own gif to.

I tried this on my Tilt with the stock ATT ROM and it did not work. Any prerequisites before trying this?

With WWE 1.56.405.5 works great my friend.

Bump/clarification: So, is the only way to get this to work is to entirely dump the AT&T ROM?

for the tilt, the default file for the startup animation is different from the tytn 2. i don't remember what the exact filename was. but what I did was save the .gif animation into my \windows directory on my tilt, then i used a reg editor. once you have the reg editor installed go to
hklm\software\htc\startupanimation\GIFFile
then edit the string to \windows\filenameofanimation.gif

It is animated you just have to refresh the page. It doesn't go through an animation loop.

The animation doesn't loop, Firefox only showed me the last frame even after refreshing....
however, in ImageReady it shows up right...
the animation is ~2.5 seconds long, probably works fine on the PPC, just not for viewing here

Just wanted to say EXCELLENT work. I love the animated graphics. Some are just pure a work of art.

TNT needs a picture designer, who can do it!!

i decided to have some new splashs for TNT series but with high quality graphics, so i need your help.
2 pictures are needed, one for the welcome logo, and the second for splash screen
Welcome Logo:
size 320*320, and type on it windows mobile 6 professional
Splash Screen:
size 320*240 and type TNT Series by its right (don't right wizard, becasue it will be used on other devices).
in general the black color is prefered on the other colors

this is the best till now
create something for Welcome picture too
but, try to make the text aligned to the left (so keep blank on the right) because the size 320*320 is used to be suitable for landscape too, so we have to make the text not to the center, try to make it on the top and left little bit.

Ok, I have 2 relatively stupid questions. The first is what exactly is a bump logo? And the second is how does Sysgod get his images to load in the post like that? Is that done using the insert image button? I would try it out to see, but I don't have an account anywhere to upload it to an HTTP source.

Ok here is a Welcome Screen image that I edited, shifted to the left. Is this what you were talking about?

xeno1, you have to have someplace to upload them. If you don't have access to a site then use a free service like imageshack or something similar and just post the link to the image with the image icon in the reply menu.

yes, but also needs to be shifted to the top, and think again about the text size.
i suggest to move the windows logo down and the text to the top, imagine that the device is moving from portrait to landscape and the opposite . so i hope it will be suitable, if you want to get more clear, look at welcomehead.96.png in your windows directory (in case it is on 320*320 size)

Welcome Splash

Hi all,
Here's a splash screen set I did for myself. The main download is "Welcome Splash.zip". This contains all the necessary files and instructions to install it to your device.
The second download is "Splash.zip". This is for advanced users only and is the Splash.nb file for cooking into a ROM.
10-10-08 - Source Graphics and Font files uploaded.
N.B. I'm not a designer, I didn't do the artwork, just the packaging.

Hi all,
I've uploaded the image and font file I used to make the splash screens. If anybody could make an animated GIF with text fading in and/or out that would complete the set. I don't know how to do this.

I'm not sure if I didn't do something right here or not, but I still see the AT&T Globe icon in between your new screen, and the 3G woosh screen still runs. Is this normal? I do see your new welcome screen, but in between is the AT&T globe and then the 3G graphics. That's what i would like to eliminate...

Hi
The screen you are talking about is the HTC animation screen. This is the software HTC loads into its ROMs which displays "animated.gif" on start up. You should install schaps advanced config 3.3. In this program you have the option of disabling this part of the start up sequence.

I tried to use the neue helvetica 35 thin font, but for some reason I could not get that installed on my Photoshop. So I am using another font.
Here is my version.
Right click on the first image(with just W) and save. This is the animated.gif file. The image(Welcome) is just a screen image.

So again here my good friend/author - MoonNah - with his new .cab - Co0kie.HomeTab_v1.7.1_ME (MoonNah Edition)
It's a full .cab Co0kie.HomeTab_v1.7.1 plus additionals:
1. Picture for all tabs
2. Logo of call operator
3. Balance (based on MVBalance, default settings for MTS)
4. Configurator of balance settings plus possibility to hide or show on Today - Logo and Balance (picture 2)
5. Full variant of ORT clocks, set instead of "Analogue clocks 2" (picture 3)
Remove previous version of Co0kie.HomeTab_v1.7.1. before install this one!
White variant will be from NGP (wait... ).

wrong Post

i cant set my own big clock. i dont like the stock one because there is wheather inside it and it isnt match to my theme. so i just uninstall it. if you fix it in next release so i think about it.

The second problem I see, is nowhere is Jam Records name mentioned in the OP, and this looks a lot like his mod to me.

MoonNah is author of this Mod as I'm wrote in my 1st post, JamRecords his big friend and companion...
With installing this cab is no problem...

1. As for fashion, there have been many changes to the home page, replaced by a script to be included ORT hours, added pictures, program balance. Makes it possible for the numerous reports and was assembled piece cab, and not separate from the modification. Because when you remove the main assembly modification respected cookies would also not workable and it will still have to reinstall. Therefore, leaving the original name plus 2 letters ME.

I love your mode and specially the clock. i only have one problem, i cant use hq wallpapers by HDWalls with your mode. i installed every version of cookies hq patch but what happens is it doesnt change the wallpaper and the soft keys on the home page dont work anymore.
Is it possible to make the cab without background for all tabs, it would be appreciated.

I have installed for trying. Then screen quite very nice with new design. but canot hide the some message like Balance$, after softrset they came to the wrong font, look not nice the same Cookie.hometab v1,7.1 for the secand sofrt reset on the menu. finally I have to back with Cookie.

Go to Start and there BalanceConfig, uncheck Return to the HomeTab
