[Q] rom upgrade for xperia x1 to version 6.5. - General Questions and Answers

hi friends
i want to upgrade my windows mobile sony ericsson xperia x1 from 6.1 to 6.5.
my windows mobile is xperia x1 vodafone uk mobile. Please help me with this issue.

The x1 has it's own subsection and all info needed will be under ROM Development.

i searched the fourm and found many versions. I tried two to three versions to upgrade but process is stoped after displaying "loading....." it is not proceding after this. Need help please.

Vodafone Windows Mobile 6.0 ROM GER?

Hello,
i a'm looking for a German Win Mob 6.0 Rom for a VPA Compact 5 Device.
We have written a Software for PPCs and are in the adjustment for the new WinMob Version 6.1. So long we are adjusting our Software we need the "older" Vodafone ROM 6.0.
Does anyone know where I can download te Windows Mobile 6.0 ROM GER for a VPA Compact V? I have serched many sites and Vodafone don't want to give me the older Version

Where can I download the image? Mine is CHT Windows Mobile 6.1 CHT version. Can I install the ROM to Windows Mobile 6.5 ENG version?
yea me to! i want the 6.5 rom for my xperia x1? is it going to be ready for tomorrow?

6.5 cooked ROM´s are floating around since some time, and in most cases are much better than "Official" versions

Correct!
There will be no official upgrade to 6.5 offered for the X1
SE Customer Service has stated.

i did all introductions but after entering the bootloader
i see just a word '' loading''
i waited but no result
then i reset the device

I am not sure how or if it can be done on this model but I know for a fact it can be done on the htc hd2 wm6.5. I would head over to the WM threads and read up on them, maybe someone has tried it.
