I just got a new samsung captivate and have been enjoying it so far.
I saw on a forum that on most android phones you can go to
Settings --> Notification Settings --> Vibrate Pattern --> Custom
and give people custom vibrations patterns when they call.
I went to try it out but TouchWiz doesn't have a Notification Settings option in the normal Settings area. Am I missing something? Is there any way I can set custom vibration patterns on TouchWiz?

I'm using a Att Tilt. The sms notifier is a very simple boring pop up. Are there any apps to modify this?
Have you tried the options under Start --> Settings --> Sounds & Notifications --> Notifications tab?
So the stock captivate has a reject list that you can add numbers to so that when the person/number calls, it will go directly to voicemail.
I updated to the Serendipity rom and the option is there, but it doesnt work. Is it like this with all custom roms? Thats a feature I would REALLY like to keep.
Go to Settings > Call Settings > All Calls > Auto Reject.
Should be obvious from there.

i thought it should be in settings => sound => vibrate on touch
but it doesn't affect it
cm9 is under heavy development most settings are yet to come... keep updating, recently lockscreen settings added weather, calendar events and custom wallpaper, sooner or later it will have what you want

I've tried setting up additional users on various roms, On Carbon and Paranoid andriod I can create users but I don't see a way of switching between the users. The only thing i could find was a user toggle on the quickpanel settings but all I could get them to do was switch to the current logged in user. Is there another way to switch through users on these roms?
On ParanoidKangdroid and PACMan I was able to set up a user toggle through the power menu, which works well, however when using multiple users, my phone gets really hot. Does anyone know why the phone gets so hot?

For me i had two users and i was on the one for a second person and rebooting my phone took me back to "the owner" user
Also if you enable lock screen rotation in settings, then rotate your lock screen, you should see the user switcher circle things like on the nexus tablets at the bottom.
Figured it out on jellybam rom
I found out how to do it on jellybam ROM. go to settings > bam control > power menu > users switcher. I hope it's similar on your ROM.
I could have sworn I saw an option to set a custom vibration in settings, but for the life of me I can't find it now. I went into it and it had a like circle with a timer countdown.
Is there a way to do this, if so where is it located at?
