[Q] Redirect audio call to BT "wireless stereo" service - General Questions and Answers

Hi all,
I've searched for very long time reading hundred of 3d but I didn't found any answer.
When I receive a call I need to redirect the audio to my BT car system using the service "wireless stereo"
At now I've found many tips to redirect music to BT "hands free" but it's not my case!!
In the meantime I want to use the microphone on the phone
Please help me
Thanks in advance
Stefano
PS I need this because my car system hangs using the "hands free" profile. I want to use wireless stereo to ear audio and the microphone on the phone

You can't.
The only profiles that support microphone are HFP and HSP.
A2DP sound is unidirectional, so cannot be used for calls.

Transfer Sound to Buletooth Headset?

Only when you receive or make a call, the voice then, will be transferred to the buletooth headset. My question is: is it possible to active it at other time other than makeing call? Thus we can use our Voice Dial softwares and listen music from XDA II.
It only can transfer the voice during the phone call to BT headset. I think O2 need to modify the Bluetooth driver to support more function on BT section (like iPAQ PPC, compaq updated the BT Driver to support listen the music on BT Headset).
Hope can heard O2 to modify the BT driver very soon, otherwise my Bt headset for O2 is not very useful !
I think except voice command, there is no missing fuction for using BT headset right now, since the quality of the speaker is horrible for listen music.
I really don't know why everyone asking for listen MP3 with BT Headset with XDA2. Is that people really enjoy listen music with one ear and low qaulity?
The XDA II has the ability to automatically answer a call after a variable number of rings to be set. However, I believe that this option only functions with the headset plug installed and then probably the BT headset won't work. Or does anyone has another idea?
Is it possible to change the register, so you can automatically transfer the call without having the plug in?

Well some people would like to have audio via Bluetooth to be able to hear Tomtom navigator over the speakers ?
Also, the SPEAKER of the XDA might be bad, that doesn't mean the audio out is bad. With a good speaker or headset quality could be al lot better...
If you use the XDA Adaptor Jabra kit for the XDA1 in the earphone socket it works fine, but if you use the headset with the direct bluetooth connection, then it doesn't.
Bluetooth Music ?
I believe that the bandwith of a Bluetooth Audio connection is far to limited to support anything resembling HiFi, not much point in listening to MP3 music that way.
For TomTom, or my Korean Language MP3 tutorial files, it should be fine though.
Luckily, the speaker is far louder than on my IPAQ 5450 going on sale, so I don't really need external speaker for TomTom.

Obvious, your not useing any of the build-in BT functions are you .
You're just getting wired audio out from the XDA/MDA. You could do that with the XDA I also, i didn't buy and XDA II for that !

There is any BT Heatset that auto-answer incoming calls ?

I want to purchase a BT headset for use under helmet in my motorbike, but I'ts not clear that the autoanswer feature work with BT.
My candidate it's the Jabra 250.
Any experiences ???
Thanks in advance for your replies !!!
There's an automatic pickup after x rings check box in phone settings. That will always work won't it ?
This only works with the wired headset that cames with the phone....
Nobody has a BT headset that autoanswer ?????
Auto answer with bluetooth is part of the handsfree profile (which the XDA does not support), not the headset profile. Sorry

Try Pocket Bluetooth tools.
It automatically activates bluetooth when you make and receive calls.
Just download the attached file.
Enjoy!

How to use BTHTools1100.exe
I installed BTHTools1100.exe, and I found that from my Jabra 258 FS I am able to make last call dialing just by clicking on my headset, which was not possible before. But I lost the pop up window, that used to show when I made the call from my PPC and it automatically got transferred to my Jabra, & would say "Do u want to transfer the call to Phone"!
Is there any eloborate help on BTHTools1100.exe

AD2p - Forcing Mono

Hello,
First post here.
I recently purchased an HTC Touch. I'm trying to find out if there is a way to force a Bluetooth stereo headset to play in mono? I'm using a player called Audible manager (for audiobooks) and it only send a mono signal so it is only played in one ear on Bluetooth stereo headsets.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
You can use Bluemusic as a workaround - it force-feeds to headsets, even those that don't normally support A2DP. And does so in Mono.
The bluemusic trial is unlimited but doesn't automatically continue after you receive a call: http://www.teksoftbluemusic.com/
Thanks, I appreciate it.

Force Call Audio Through bt stereo

anyone know of an app or other way to get call audio through stereo bluetooth receiver? Most people want to go the other direction and get their music through ear piece or in car bluetooth calling. I want to use my stereo bt audio receiver to accept the mono audio from calls as well. This way i could use the phone hands free when connected to my stereo.
I found this discussion which indicates its not going to work. Interesting though cause i would think itd be an easy thing to just force the call audio through

[Q] Route phone call audio to bluetooth stereo speaker (a2dp)

Hi,
My S5 is rooted. I would like to get my phone call audio from my bluetooth speaker but the speaker only supports stereo (a2dp) bluetooth profile.
Is there an app , fix, library which could do the audio routing from phone call to bluetooth stereo device ?
Thanks.
I'd appreciate any help. Even, "it's not possible" could give an idea. (Although, with a rooted device it should be possible, since we just wwant to redirect sound to another device)
no ideas anyone ?
