We just published our app to the Android Marketplace.
It's called 'AboveRoad' and is available for Free.
This application is similar to The myTracks.
However, it is possible that the media record.
You can record memo, pics, video and voice memo.
You can record your daily life.
And it can be variously used with reference to user ability.
You can use it whenever you go to the trip, or exercise, or there is anything need to record in everyday.
How it works. :
On launch,
Waiting GPS connecting.
Currently my location is displayed, press the record button starts recording.
(Speed, Altitude, Total Distance, Weather, Count Calorie, Direction, GPS Status, etc...) are recording.
Press and hold the record list items to export to kml.
Using KML in Google Earth or Google Map.
Works for Android running 1.6+.
We will update app as soon as possible.

My Feedback: So far, Amazing - No need to install any additional codecs, It plays all videos and in perfect quality with no buffering either. So download it today and post your feedback.
I tried this a few days ago on my Tornado with WM6. I could search for videos and found everything, but when i tried to play any of them, it said "Network connectivity is very low!!! Please try again after sometime"
I was connected to WiFi and EDGE while trying
Any ideas?

You need to install the app in the storage area and not on the storage card.. Even i had the same problem when i installed it on the storage card.
Turns out i had the old version. Installed the newest version (tried on both storage card and internal memory, wasn't any difference) and most videos were unwatchable due to the laggy sound. The picture was ok but the sound was horrible. Only one video I tried worked for me.
This app would be awesome if it worked!

I have this app installed to the main memory(recommended) on my 8125. I've only tapped on 1 video that was Sports that came up in channels. The video played after a 5min. wait. Problem: I tried getting a video using the search box option. The videos that matched by search came up on the screen. Every video I wanted to watch from my search took me back to the Today screen after tapping on that video. Does not work using search.

I tested this application and it's great! Now I can seriously watch youtube videos on my PPCs and smartphones!
It has issues though..
I experienced low speed navigation.
I'd like 2700g support for my Dell Axim X51v.
I'd like a save video feature..
A full screen switcher would be great!
Finally, it could be good if you add a timeline bar.
I am having trouble using it. While I watch a video I have to keep clicking a hardware button to make the video move. The audio streams fine. It also doesn't take over full screen. Any solutions?

"Calls Recall" is a non-disruptive call recorder that records calls in the background without user attention. Minimalism is a goal.
Whenever calls are made or received, the conversion is recorded automatically and stored in external storage.
How many temporary recordings to keep is set by user in the setting screen. Old recordings are replaced by new ones.
User can browse recordings and set recording as saved so it will not get replaced.
User can play and delete recordings.
* If you use headphone, you can barely record the voice from the other side, because this app use phone MIC to record (as of now, there is no other commonly supported audio source).
Hello people, this app is on Google Play. Feedback is welcomed.
I wanted a call recorder and downloaded a popular one but it's interface is too complex and even failed to record anything after like 10 presses of things. So I sit down and wrote my own. I come from traditional UNIX world and believe tools should be simple and do one thing well. If people want further process the result, they can adopt another tool in the pipeline.
My disappointment is audio source VOICE_CALL is not implemented by most phone manufactures, and I have to record from MIC. If you have other choices that make it works better than now, I will appreciate.

Please follow the guide inside app for how to record. you have to download mp4 karaoke song and put it into folder as instruction inside app. Download video with normal quality (360p) for record, it take long time to gender highquality video and could cause your device to be overheated.

The app should allow sorting Ascending/Descending. Currently, it only sorts Descending. Ex. I want to sort by file duration, start playing from the shortest video up to longest. I can't as the app will show longest video on top and shortest on bottom. Baffling that the best video player doesn't have this basic feature.
