browser adddress bar paste - Captivate General

Anybody know how to paste text into the stock browser address bar?

Click it once to select and press and hold to paste.

I can't believe how I didn't see that. I was tapping and holding which brought up the share url dialog. I don't know why tap, release, tap hold seems totally unintuitive for me. Especially considering wouldn't it be so much easier for users that a single tap would bring up a menu of all the options, share url, paste, etc?

I know about that, I was wondering if there was a pop up on that lets you select using those little arrows or highlight to the touch thingy.

Precision Text Selection

If someone could please add this to the wiki that would be great...
I found out that if you are using Swipe, you can drag from the Swipe logo to the Sym logo and it gives you a feature full text selector. Not exactly a hidden feature, but still hard to find.
the same applies if you are using the Samsung Keyboard and long press on the ?123 key
Sweet, thanks for the tip.

Click to collapse
Hit the Application button, then Menu. Hit View Type and select Customizable Grid. Then hit Menu again and select Edit. You can now change the dock icons to whatever you want.

Ah great thanks so much. Worked perfectly.
Wow nice. Found this topic on accident but I am really glad I did.
I didn't know you could move your bottom apps around.

Reorder Apps

I am her to the gear 2. Other than assuming to the home button is there a way to reorder the apps? I can see how you can reorder them on a single page but how would you move them from one page to another page. The two apps that I go to all the time are spread out so its multiple swipes to dig down to it

Click to collapse
Rearranging shortcuts...
Tap and hold an app icon and then drag and drop it to rearrange the app shortcuts on the Gear's home screen or in the app list.
Removing app shortcuts...
Tap and hold an app icon, then drag and drop it on the remove icon at the top of the screen.
Thanks,
I can drag the app and hover it over the page where I want it but when I drop it, it goes back to where it cam from. as I type this i am thinking that maybe I need to drag one off the page to create an empty spot? is that the case?

Delete an app off a particular page, it has an empty slot, then drag and drop the new app from a different page to the new one.
That works for me

Clipboard Menu replacement app - with speech?

I have been looking for an app that will easily/quickly read text to speech from a Web page, email, etc. The ones that I have found require you to first copy and paste the text into their app.
But I am looking for something that will just let me highlight the text and click a button to start reading. If there was a replacement for the normal Clipboard Menu with a speech button, that would seem ideal.
Does anybody know of any apps that could do this?
Thanks!
