Only complaint was, sometimes I'd have the puzzle done, but it wouldn't notice. Annoying when I had over 700 points.
Maybe you didn't solve it in 20 seconds - in that case your score is reset. Score is determined by the seconds left until 20, if you solved in the last second you won't get points. If you're running out of time, better press the skip button, this won't cost you points.

Nope, it does it constantly... I played about 10 minutes before uninstalling because it often has problems detecting it's solved. One I got about 10s before the time was out and wiggled it back and forth and up and down and it still wouldn't register it was done.

No, it just wouldn't solve, I could find the right spot in 5 seconds, spend 15 moving it around and it still wouldn't catch. Not often, but it happens.

Very cool game idea. Like it very much, but the inverse controls makes it a little bit difficult, at least for me. Would be nice to change the inverse control in next coming update.

LOL you are pretty on the ball with updates mate!
Tried hard mode yesterday, fair play, lives up to it's name, with fewer blocks, makes it hard to line up the image properly.
Found a possible bug, on my Samsung Galaxy S, it quite often doesn't register the image is complete unless I scroll it up and back down again to the same place. Maybe a problem with collision/edge detection on the other sides of the cubes?

I don't like apps that need permissions not suppose to have. Why this app wants to access system log? Sorry but I am so concern about permissions I am giving to apps and will not install this game till you remove this permission.

Same here, I wouldn't update today because of that. WTH?
New update has just been submitted. It has 19 new images and supports small screen phones. The best thing is the smoothened tilt controls - they are super steady now!
About the read system logs permission - it is for sending crash reports to me. Couple of guys with Desire reported Force Close issues and I added a small piece of code to send the system log over e-mail. If crash happens, you see M$ Windows-like popup with "Send" and "Don't send" If you choose send, the e-mail app is opened with the system log attached as zip. You can write some comment in the message body and send over. Issues on Desire are still not resolved, but I'm working on it.
System Log
Standard Android reporting (I believe it is in 2.2) will do that on crashes, you don't need to do that manually. I think it would be better to remove that permission from your app and if you really want to do it manually and don't use android build-in reporting system, ask people to sent log to you manually.
People will not install an app if it ask for unrelated permissions.

About the problem we will study it, but at the moment i can't reproduce it. My htc desire works great with global save feature and i have notice that others devices do too.

On my droid incredible Froyo i've got an issue where it says I lose before the timer runs out. I'll play the first level with time to spare, but the second one stops ans says I lose when it shows even up to 7 seconds left sometimes.

Yes, if you enter a number over the solution, you will loose. But if you enter a
lower one, you will be able to erase and enter again your solution. but you can not
be exceed the good number.
Between i will decrease the dificulty of the game, at least i will give more times
each level.

Would it be possible to add a difficulty option? Maybe label the current difficulty as 'Hard' and create an 'Easy' difficulty that gives the player more time. Just throwing ideas out there.

Adds usually need rough location and maybe internet access. Why would then need personal information?
I'm having a bit of a problem with GTA3. On the Arms Shortage mission given by the cop on the second island every time I drive into the marker in the army base the game crashes straight to my home screen, no force close or anything. If I get out and walk into the marker the game takes control and makes the player do a stupid lap around the base, resulting in death.
The game also takes control of the player every time I complete a casino mission and makes him walk into a wall continuously, the only way to regain control is to quit and resume.
Anyone have similar problems or know what to do?

I haven't had a single problem with my GTA III game and I've had it since release but have only started playing it since the 1.3 patch.
The 1.3 Update is great. The only problem i´ve had so far is that when i press the aim button when i have the M16 rifle equipped nothing happens. I can´t aim manually with it. This didn´t occur in Version 1.0. Anyone else having this problem?

Also which button is to aim? I thought it was auto aim only :/.
It´s the menu button on the gamepad. Under the d pad. Just works with the sniper rifle, the rocket launcher and the M16 which obviously doesn´t in 1.3 with this button. You´ll need to use the onscreen keys to get into manual aim with the M16.

This is happening due to the High Cpu & Ram demand on the game as soon as you drive into the position, if you check the Xperia Play Themes & Apps section, my CAR MODV2 is available which was designed for people which there game crashes like yours, word of advice though, anytime you drive a police car it will be slow (speed)

ATM I'm redownloading the sd card files as I believe some of the mission scripting is corrupted, the only reason I haven't tried this before is that my wifi connection is terrible, going to take a while lol.
If anyone could upload or send me their SD card files it would be a great help, when my wifi craps out at over 23% GTA3 won't boot and I have to delete and start over again, never ending cycle lol.
Sry guys, I just tried the 1.3 update, and I was wondering if I can can set the movement controls to the touchpads. I read that on xperiagamer, but I can't find anything in the game options, I can only move with the dpad. Maybe you just can't move with the touchpads?

When you enter the location, aload of police cars start chasing you & you have to escape, due to this your CPU usage is quite high & ram & probably cant cope

It has nothing to do with cpu or ram usage, it's just a glitch in the game. There are no more people or cars than in any other mission.
The way I got around the glitch, though, is by first walking into the trigger area (the blue circle of light thing), instead of driving into it. Then, as he jogs around the area ignoring user input, he will get close enough to the tank for the "door" on-screen button to appear, which you can press to break his jogging cycle.
He'll run over to the tank, try to get in, but it's locked, and you can then help the one-armed man kill the Columbian Cartel attackers.
Hope this helps others! Sure was a hassle for me lol.
Edit: I'm playing this on a Droid Bionic, btw, not the xperia
When i had this mission i take ol and use them as barricade and than destroy cartel using granades. Try it maybe it helps...

so i tried different ways(because I had the same problem in some other missions).
at last I found it! the problem is with the cars..when you go in the marked area with a car,it crashes...when ever you had this problem,just go at the marked area on YOUR FOOT!! thats it..it works for this problem in any mission crashes like this

I was trying to test out different things that required a moving GPS position - obviously that's hard to do when you need to go driving around to do it! Currently fake GPS apps just show a single fake location - no path or movement - useless!

Hey, good to hear. Could you clarify on random speed though? Do you mean a random fixed speed when you start it, or randomly increasing and decreasing speed while moving?

Sorry for my bad english. I meant random speed while moving. eg. between 50mph to 100mph. So while it moving, the speed randomly increase & decrease between the number. Thanks.

That's strange.. no such issues here, but then I'm on CM9 and not CM7, so maybe they've fixed it? Did you force quit the app, or did you hit the stop button at the top right of the app? After stopping, how long did you wait for the device to pick up your real location? It can take 30 sec or so for the device to reconnect to satellites, etc.
I have the same issue than others, once you close the app, all the other apps see the gps as disabled (locked on fake dev locations mode), re-enabling it on settings doesn't work, reboot is needed.

Hopefully the auto-stop at the end of the path will sort out the gps thing for you guys. For me it takes about 5-10 seconds at the end of the path for it to go back to the real location.
If you want to stop it in the middle of a path, go into the app and press the red stop button at the top right.

Interesting, tried v1.2, but my navigation software shows no variation in speed even though randomize speed is on. How frequent is metersTravelled updated? Maybe the navigation software averages the speed over a time much longer than your update interval and hence reporting a constant speed anyhow...
The GPS state issue after quitting your app reported earlier is still there.
A couple other suggestions:
1. Option to switch to US units (miles, mph)
2. Allow type in the speed instead of sliding, somehow can't seem to get it to the value I want by sliding... either too small or too large.

Unfortunately, Google banned my developer account, so this app got taken down with the account. Trying to contact google play support to get it reinstated, but contacting Google support is very very difficult...
You can grab it off the 1st post at least!
If someone else with an account wants to host it, I'd be happy to release the code as GPL or other so they can upload it. If anybody is interested, let me know.

Hex was originally a board game. The goal is to try and connect your two sides of the board before your opponent. The first player has the advantage so there's a "first move swap" where the second player can swap positions on their first move (it's toggle-able). The game gets pretty hard when both players know what they're doing.

I got a bit overexcited and pushed without doing a proper code freeze. Needless to say, bugs popped up. How do most people handle this? I assume it's one of the two:
a) Spend the week cleaning up and release a clean, solid app
b) Push updates periodically as you clean up all the known bugs (despite the likelihood that more will pop up)
I've been doing the latter, not wanting an app that's broken (especially if I have the fix for it), but I'm a bit afraid it'll annoy users with the frequent updates. I should have just forced myself to be patient and waited a week... And written tests...

Haha, yes. There's another computer, Bee, who's a lot smarter but also a lot slower. I thought the default, Will, was better for showing someone new how to play (Faster, more beatable).
It's really easy to write a new AI (a good one, though, is a bit harder). If anyone writes something good and wants it pushed to the market, I'll gladly pull the changes. No one's really shown any interest in the game (programming wise), though, and it's at a good enough state that I'd rather write a new app than tweak Hex further.
Now in the F-droid repo, the only one with NCSA license; congratulations
Maaaaassive update. It's been a while since I learned how to code for Android, and everything I've learned has been put back into the game. It's animated, fluid, and just looks amazing. There's Google+ Achievements and Net play too.
This game is driving me up the ******* wall! (which is a good sign I suppose, because it means I am obsessed with it.)
How are you supposed to swap player 1 and player 2? There's an option in settings to enable swapping, but how do you actually swap? I want to let the AI go first.

I can't press the left lower cell because of a small screen size. All time I press the Undo instead of the cell.

just found the xda post on facebook and in the blog entry i found a link to a website i really enjoyed but it only had about 10 levels so your game was perfect to try out
the flat design is beatiful and the first levels are really smooth...
but when it comes to "get 35 circles" it randomly laggs like hell and costs me the victory
you really need to optimize performance, i will continue playing now and hope that it wont get wore in the upcoming levels

If you select no music and togglw the screen off/on thw music returns. Same happens if you leave the app to check a message or something and return thw music is back on however the toggle still shows off is selected, nothing major just thought id share.

This game has sucked my time away, made me call in to work, gave me a headache from eye strain, made my girlfriend late to her job, caused me go to hungry because she was unwilling to put down her phone long enough to make me a sandwich, and has caused the hopefully temporary ruining of our sex lives because we're both playing with our phones in bed instead of each other.
In short - this game ROCKS! =) It's so simple and insidious and addictive! Thank you for putting this out there, even though you are clearly a sadist and want us to suffer in various ways.

The tip is to figure out where they're all headed, Sometimes it's at the top/bottom, sometimes at the sides, sometimes in the middle. And it's always good to start where a bunch of them are to begin with, but you want to hit one of the single ones so it starts a chain reaction.
Those last levels are probably the hardest because you end up leaving one or two dots behind. Yeah, I know. :laugh: Just keep trying, you'll get it after the 50th try if you try different spots, hahaha.

I have tried this blue pack level 16 about million times but still cant beat it :/
how to exit the game? i have to kill app every time. and sound settings somehow resets themselves. I'd like some more levels
