Why hasn't there been any ROM updates for the Captivate - Captivate General

The Galaxy S has had 6 different 2.1 ROM updates in July alone and the Captivate or Vibrant hasn't even had one. The Galaxy has also had 3 different 2.2 Froyo updates. Are the US versions of the phone second class citizens?

it takes time man, tehre are internal differences between the 2

Been following this for long?

Did any of the galaxy s updates come out after the release of the captivate?

Moved from Captivate Develipment to Captivate General as it isn't related to Development...

I think it has more to do with ATT at this point than Samsung.

The website Techhog, leked the above picture as the next generation of the Googl’s Nexus Series
The next Next is rumored to be manufactures by HTC, but it is not confirmed by Google or any reliable sources.

While it could be a possible prototype it seems a little too soon yet from the Nexus S to be near release. Thus the body could change several more times before anyone gets it in their hands.

READ BEFORE POSTING: ICS 4.0 Sources Out

OK yes yes, we know the ICS sources are being uploaded right now. Ref: https://groups.google.com/forum/#!to...ng/T4XZJCZnqF8
Please don't make a zillion threads telling us. I see one thread opened about it below, that one will remain open, the rest will be locked.
Thanx!

waiting ICS -> captivate

new here

Just got my G5 today and noticed there were no updates unlike the S6 Edge I exchanged it for which had a million. IDK how this is possible and its making me suspect they gave me a refurbished phone or something. Android security version says 5-1. I see multiple people posting about an update on 9-27. Also, is there a safe way to root on 10D?
I got mine this summer but it has all of the updates. Look for software update in settings.

Already installed.. Do not know what the so called new features are, nor to I care.. So long as the phone still works I'm happy. If the phone can not be rooted and customized the way I like it.. They can brag all they want about new features, it still won't matter to me. LOL

Question AT&T G996USQU2AUC8 April Security Update is out

Just updated my S21+ to QU2AUC8 - Just like with the March Update, I have yet to find anything different with this update.
If anyone comes across the release notes for this version, please post it here.
it bricked my s21+ t-mobile is replace it under warranty only 4 weeks old
It was a hefty update coming in at some 979MB. Quite large for an update that isn't an OS or OneUI update. Went smoothly on my AT&T device, nothing different jumping out at me.
