My friend and I have made a 2-player game based on bluetooth which runs on android 2.0.1 or higher.
We have entered the game into the local Android Developer Challenge for students, and the app is available for download from the URL for up to 31st August, upon which the judging closes:
Application name: Gaimfertu
Screenshots: gaimfertu.appspot.com/game
Download: android.sce.ntu.edu.sg/appsdirectory/appcounter/idapps/47
We have no plans in the foreseeable future to turn this game into a paid app, and we plan to upload the game into the android market for free once the competition is over. Please support free apps by downloading the game.
If you like the game, please evaluate it with the SADC2010 Evaluation Application. Thank you all.
1) Register as evaluator: android.sce.ntu.edu.sg/index.php/evaluators/login
2) Download the evaluation app: android.sce.ntu.edu.sg/app/eval/SADC2010EvaluationApp2.apk
Just a little note that prior to the competition we had no background of JAVA, only C, and spent about 2 months learning JAVA/android coding and creating the game.
Update! We now have a website with highscores:
gaimfertu.appspot.com

We’re indie developers and we are proud to present to the XDA-community Godville - our text-based parody game for those who don’t have time to play.
Main features:
- auto-rpg where your hero levels up by himself!
- play it with your own pace - once a day or once a month
- hilarious game world with thousand of witty and funny texts to unleash your imagination
- extend the game by offering new ideas and content
- daily newspaper, ideabox, game wiki, pantheons pvp, guilds, friends and lots of other stuff
The game is free to play, with in-app purchases to support game development.
You can install the app from this post or just search Google Play for “Godville”
Known bugs:
- Remote notifications are known to have problems on some devices.
The look and feel of this Android app was heavily influenced by our iOS app and it might not look very natural on Android. Google’s interface guidelines were published later, but they didn’t help either, as they mostly focus on Android 4 (which is still a minor part of our install base) and some of them seem user-unfriendly (e.g. action items at the top on devices with big screens). We’ll really appreciate if you could take look at the app and point out the most screaming UI problems that will make the app better on Android.
Suddenly, we realize that a first post from a new user might not look very credible
So here is some additional info:
1. Godville is available in the Play Store for some time (has 6000+ ratings with average score 4.7)
2. There were reviews from Desctructoid.com and TouchArcade.com (can’t post links to those due to a new user limits) of the game, but we’d really like to hear your opinion on the Android app.

We are three students developing a casual game for our CHI (Computer Human Interaction) course. In this game you have to lead as much sheep as possible, as fast as possible to their pen. The more sheep you get in there, the higher your score.
Our task is to improve this game in several iterations, according to the feedback we receive by our users. Therefore it would be really great if you play our game and fill in our questionnaire or give us some feedback on this forum. It is available on the Google Play Store, but you can play an HTML5 version as well on our website.
You can get more information and download links on our website: teamsheepy.be.
Thanks for your help!
So over a year ago I released Zombie Cubes for android. Since then it has passed over 250 000+ downloads! Just recently I released a big major patch that revamped the graphics and even brought a iOS version (thanks to the awesome people working on both LibGdx and RoboVM ofcourse!).
The game is a action-arcade game where you survive for as long as possible while still trying to progress through maps, fight bosses, level up your character, solve riddles...etc. The game is inspired by CoD Zombie Mode so if you enjoy that theres a big chance you will also enjoy this game!
The game features a multiplayer mode where you can play over LAN with your friends, and it even has cross-compatibility between android and iOS!
Theres absolutely no In-App Purchases in the game, so no Pay2Win. Only thing is that game include ads, but so far you can purchase a paid version on Google Play which has no ads. A Ad-Free version could be made for iOS if the demand is high enough.
Please tell me what you think and if you enjoy the game then please share it with your friends!

4 years ago I released my own game, Zombie Cubes, for Android and today it's releasing on Steam! The game is heavily inspired by Call of Dutys Zombie mode, so if you like that you will (hopefully) like my game as well! The main goal is to survive wave after wave against Zombie Cubes. Each map also includes it's own boss, so you can techincally "complete" the maps as well. The game also supports crossplay between phone and PC users.
Give it a try and tell me what you think! The Steam version costs around 5$, but has a 10% launch discount right now. The Android version comes in both a Free version which contain ads, and a paid version which is ad-free.

This game first started as a weekend-project for a low-res game jam. We then liked the outcome so much, we decided to further develop it into a full-grown game and publish it.
If you have any questions about the game or the development process - feel free to ask!
Since we are 3 Indie developers doing this in their free time, we don't have the resources to do a broad marketing campaign. So it would be really nice if you could try the game and let us know what you think - either here on XDA or via Review in the app stores.
Thank you and enjoy!
Since this is a Dev-Forum you might want to know that the app was fully done in unity. I did, however, write some Android plugins to handle native stuff. Mainly because we are supporting the Amazon platform as well - and Amazon discontinued any Unity support a couple of years ago...
