rom android 2.0.2v1.9 from flipz mode?

Hi fellas last night i got a mail from flipz mode about his new rom android 2.0.1v1.9 i am running now and i just want know if someone else is doing too i found some bugs but i thins this one gonna be one of the best

Only bug I found was that the Weather/Clock widget will only show a temp in celcius. Lack of cam is the only real problem for me. Im sure Toast is still working diligently to get the cam module working.

No. No camera, no MMS, and no visual voicemail. Everything else works. At least that's what Flipz told me. I haven't tried it yet, but everything that guy does is great. I'm sure it's awesome.

I got it to change to fahrenheit just fine.

Maybe just a glitch for me. I changed it to farenheit within the desktop clock setting.....worked there, but not the widget. Im flipping back and forth between nandroids with stock and this rom. Try again later.

Dunno. If I remember right, last time Flipz did an early release, his supporters got it 2 or 3 days earlier than the rest of the community. Just assume Sunday or Monday to be safe. That way you don't have to keep checking. If it comes earlier than that, you'll get a bonus. No promises though, I'm just speculating off of what happened last time.

i have a problem i donated but with the wrong email and i do not have access to that email account what should i do. BTW i updated my paypal with my new email. so hopefully flipz will send it to the new email.

To anybody who installed the rom, Are there protected apps in the market? Twidroid pro, barcode scanner, etc...

wanted to donate anyway for all of flipz good work. now is just a better excuse to do it lol.

Lol, if you read the first post in my 2.1 rom you'll see that market shows all apps, including protected ones
EDIT: And i'm sure you can get it working on flipz' 2.0.1 rom too if you just edeited the fingerprint in the build.prop

Reason there is hardly anything at moment is because I have had problems with compiling XD Bootloops -_- However in v1.0.0 Final there will be a lot of changes including options in spare parts and settings that are not in OpenEclair ^^

If you want it fast and responsive When given choice use Home also enable swap and ompache to a certain degree and change window animations and transition animations to off

I can't find it? I found the Email app, but never use that one because of the inbuilt version.
Is this because of Google rights or something else??

Gallery as the same one as OE v1.2.2 XD so yeah it is alright

Ok i misunderstood.

Until warez are taken out this will remain closed. OP please contact me when they are removed and I will reopen thread. Warez are not tolerated on xda.

XD the warez turned out to be a misunderstanding to do with RockOn as it used to be a paid app but no longer is and is now open source lol

Cheers all I did was add a new wallpaper and some good apk's and enables jit thank OpenEclair for most of it
Also everyone else download link will be back up in about 3 - 1/2 hours to 4 hours not at home at the moment

Any chance of a dark theme *yawn* rom is fast by the way. Cool stuff man, major props.

before anyone gets real nasty, I will just mention it... wrong section...Q&A is where you wanted to post
also the [REQ] tag is to request development, e.g. add OCR mode to Camera
but in answer to your question
yes... you can install Live Wallpapers found on the market
NB OCR in Camera was just off the top of my head, standalone apps on Market so no point

aslong as your phone has build.prop sdk=7 youll see livewallpapers in the market, most 2.1 roms have this in build.prop so just search
and might i suggest a wallpaper, LWP NexusMod <-- best one, but on the G1 might lag quite a bit

Since this is my first attempt at cooking a rom, I didn't make any visual changes. It should look identical to the CM6 nighly build. All I did was remove a couple of things and integrate gapps.
I'll gladly post a screenshot, if I can figure out how. How does everybody normally go about taking screenshots? Is there an app to do it right from the phone, or do I have to get my rom running in the emulator to get a screenshot?

I thought the request for a screenshot was funny since there really isn't much to look at. This was me just trying to test out the kitchen, I'll make a more interesting rom in the future.
Anyway, did anybody test it? Was maps being goofy for you or was that just happening to me?

As I recall, maps were working quite well, even with a very quick GPS fix on CM6 for me. I agree that the screenshot request was funny

You shouldn't need to wipe, unless your running something older than RC1.

This release is brought to you my Decad3nce, beezy420 and myself.
This is a port of the HTC Wildfire Froyo test leak that has about 80% to 85% functionality so PLEASE realize this won’t be your daily driver at this point but it is a proof of concept that you can run and checkout the new functions.

Make sure you understand this is more like Alpha rather than Beta. All the graphics are just 240/320 streteched to fit our screens, and this won't be your daily without a lot of effort, but it's a crazy awesome start

I would imagine not. The Wildfire is a low-end phone, marketed to be an introductory low-budget Android phone for those who are new to the idea of a smartphone.

Hey, no rush. Anything you guys can do is fantastic. Soon as I got to setting up Sense I got the option to switch to English anyway. This ROM is amazingly fast--can't wait 'til it's up and running. I gotta get to bed for tonight, though, so I'll keep playing with this tomorrow.
