uFlowers-take care of your flowers and plants! - Android Apps and Games

Hi Everyone!
I would like to introduce you useful Android app - uFlowers!
Description:
Take care of your flowers and plants!
Help yourself to remember all necessary activities using uFlowers app!
Thanks

The new version - uFlowers v.1.2 is already available in the market!
What’s new:
1. added support for 2.2
2. fixes a bug with memory
3. reduced the size of the application

over 9 megs is still big! Good that Froyo supports app2SD now...
But, it's very handy, thanks! Now I can keep track of my plants to keep them alive.
Would it possible to add trimming dates and type of standingplace? (sunny, shade, etc)
And maybe get the info from an online library instead of local, because it would make the app huge and the info on the plants is very limited.

[GAME][2.3+] Squared

This is my first Android game and I wanted to keep it simple, but entertaining - at least if you like this kind of games
It is a puzzle game in which you have to clear the board or get enough points by clearing lines of at least three tiles. There is small in-game tutorial (text instructions) and a lot of levels to play (with infinite mode as well)
You can grab the game from the attached file or find it on Google Play (search for "Squared Mateusz" - I cannot link to outside pages yet). This is the version 1.4 with ads disabled (which is paid in the store), but I want to get some feedback about the game itself - thats why I'm posting here a full version. Also, I think about the paid version more like a donation rather than a profit generator - the only difference between the two versions on Google Play are ads displayed in the free version. Currently I think that this kind of games should be free anyway, but I need to work out a proper way of doing this.
I am looking forward for any suggestion on how I could improve the game itself! Let me know what you think about it
hey, I like it

[App][2.1+] Dropozoid 1.3 (brain&puzzle game)

Hi everyone!
We launched our first android application about week ago. It's Dropozoid game (analogue of existing game for another mobile platform). Nothing special, but helps to spend time well.
I just wonder how popular is such kind of games now and how much sales can we expect without a big ad-investments. And how often does it make sense to make updates? Maybe it would be better to distribute first one for free?
I"ll be appreciate for any suggestions or comments. Thanks!
Hi all!
We're planning updates on next week. It will include:
- separated control of sounds and music
- motion improvements
- attempt to improve images quality for some display types
- post to top-score and connection error handling improvements
I hope these all make Dropozoid little better. Everyone is welcome to get pre-release to try (if you already installed the game, it will be free) - just send request to google+community "dropozoid".
Thank you all for feedbacks.
Hi everybody.
The update is already on market.
Your feedbacks are welcome.
The next update will include buttons to post result to twitter and facebook. Hopefully it will appear in several days.
dropozoid-lite
Hi everybody.
At least we published free version of Dropozoid, but with ads.
Look for Dropozoid-lite on the market!
Good puzzle Thank you)

[GAME][2.3+] What City 1.2.1

I am proud to present my very first App release:
What City - The Travelers Quiz is a quiz game with Google Street View panoramas. You have to guess a city from a random Street View panorama. You get to choose the cities you want to play with. Any city with Street View can be added.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.eldev.whatcity
It's free and for now also ad-free, since this is mostly a hobby project and learning endeavour.
Since there is no Android native Street View Api yet, the gamescreen consists of mainly a browser window with JavaScript running inside. It works, though it is not a very smooth solution. On older devices animations and can be quite slow, but most notably on larger screens panning and zooming the Street View causes a lot of lag. The main hurdle I had to tackle was the communication between Java and Javascript and getting a correctly layouted WebView independent of pixel densities and Android Versions.
Being new to Android, working my way around different behaviors of different API versions was something I did not anticipate and that cost a lot of time in the end.
I'd be happy, if you'd give it a try and I would love to hear your comments on what could be improved about my game.
Thank you!
this is a very interesting idea!
i like the pre-defined lists idea very much, and hope they (e.g. world capitals) can be expanded to more cities in future versions (or maybe user-customisable)..
just some minor isses to report:
(1) the help box cannot be displayed correctly in my n5 kitkat 4.4.2.. the "The Game" text gets cut off on the upper part..
(2) typo on Help > "Edit Cities" section.. the last sentence "If not, readd it with blah-blah.."
all in all, a very nice work.. thx!

Thanks for giving it a try and for your kind words. My plan is to make the lists shareable between users, but this will take some time.
Update to 1.2.2
By user request the new version brings a new preference, that allows you to disable the sticky images in the background.
As always: Any feedback on the game is highly appreciated.
Update to 1.2.3
I only find time on weekends to work on this. The update to 1.2.3 brings:
Improved loading times making the game feel more responsive, through better prefetching.
A less clotted layout.
Give it a try and let me know, if you like the improvements.
New Version 1.3.0
The new version comes with a completely overhauled design. Let me know, what you think of it!

[App][4.0+] Complex Numbers Calculator

Hello XDADevs,
I have built an Android App that should work as a calculator for complex numbers. It can do simple tasks such as add two numbers but can also factorize a polynomial or solve one for its roots. I have created different layouts for Smartphones and Tablets and would like feedback from user here. Of course, anyone is welcome, but I'd especially like someone with a mathmatical background to try and make my calculations break. Results can be easily shared in text format.
The app can be downloaded via Google Play here and is available in english and german:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=de.vertedge.complexnumbers
@WeissenbornC I have a further maths exam in a few months which includes lots of this sort of stuff, and although I wasn't looking for an app like this, I saw the name had "numbers" in and was interested it looks like it would definitely be useful for checking if I've correctly found roots of polynomials like you say and things like that; I'll do some revision over the weekend and see if your app gets the right answers! (Hopefully I will too :silly: )

Thanks, I hope the app will help. The limitation is that results are found as decimal values, e.g. the square root of 2 will be 1.41... The exact result depends on the number format, which you can set yourself in the settings.

I hope I didn't disappoint too much: The matrix part leads to my other app on the playstore, which is free for real (meaning java double) numbers, but does cost money for complex numbers. The amount of money should be less than your average chocolate bar however.
Thanks all for the feedback, it's very much appreciated.
I wanted to thank you guys for bringing my app to the front page. I was surprised and it still gets me smiling to this day that the best resource I know out there on mobile development noticed my little dot on the screen of the app world.
I also changed the name of the app to "Complex Numbers Calculator", because, after all, to be seen takes more than making a great app today.

[App] [4.1+] Planets

Hello all!
This is my first post on this forum so if I'm posting this in the wrong place, let me know! I would like to show off my latest Android App that I've been working on for the last few months. It has been a long path of changes, changes, and more changes! I've really enjoyed how far I've come with learning development. So here it is!
Planets is a educational app that is centered around providing users with information about the planets in our solar system. It also has info about other objects like the Sun and Pluto. I recently redesigned the app to make the content easier to scan and make it a little more fluid like. I have a community[1] set up with Beta testing for the people who want to test stuff before it's released to the public. I am looking to gain a larger user base but my main goal is just making the app look nice and easy to use. You can download[2] it on the Play Store and feedback/ratings are appreciated. So far, I've got about 1,400 downloads and I'm hoping to get more! Also, you can view the full source code for this app[3]!

Wonderful application, always been an admirer of Astronomy and this is just brilliantly put together. Will come back with a decent feedback soon .
I know it is easy to pick on any application but knowing how much effort might have gone in does help (through your github post).
Is it possible to convert the given units into scientific units (e.g. mass of sun = 1.9891 * 10^30 kg)?
Hi, I'm a fan of astronomy but I'm also a graphic, web-designer/developer... I love you app and, if it is possibile, I want to make some themes for this app!
Very nice app. Informative and yet easy on the eye. Looking forward to further updates.
Sent from my SM-N9005 using XDA Free mobile app
I'm always up for more astronomy. Great work, keep it up. :good:
Very nice! Love the UI, looks very intuitive.
Some suggestions:
- use translucent bars on KitKat
- make the back animation consistent with the open animation. For example, when you tap a planet, the card zooms in to fill the screen; but when you hit Back, the screen kind of fades away (the default Android exit animation). It would be nice if it zooms back out.
- like @orville87 said, it would be easier on the eyes to express the units in scientific notation.
- Pluto isn't a planet anymore, right?
I would have asked for info on extraterrestrial moons, but it would seem too outrageous a request.
Subscribed, awaiting further updates
Which of those are the app that is being shown here:

Not enough information. Can you tell me how is this app better than the others universe related apps in Google Play? I appreciate your effort but if you want your app to be competitive he should add more features or at least more info because the info included here is common and can be found in wikipedia for example. There are also apps who also provide 3D model of the solar system with the orbits of all planets.
I'm not trying to offend you, don't get me wrong.

For being a high school student and balancing life and school and this, I take pride in the work that I've done. Sure there are better apps than mine with more info and awesome 3D renderings of planets, I'm not afraid to admit that. However, I'm proud of the work I've done and if people don't recognize that it IS work from a high school student and not some average middle-aged developer, then so be it. Thanks for your feedback :good:

As I said in the beginning of my post I appreciate what you do because I love astronomy and physics so it's good beginning and I'm not hating. But yet you needed something to stimulate you to develop your app. I wish you all best and I'm sure that you'll keep developing this app until it becomes competitive to all the apps out there.
