Search on the market for "SDMove" or scan here.
the apps that show up on your list there, is that your individual app list, or does it just include a bunch of known apps that you scroll through?

Hey there,
Is there a way to "sort/clean" the start menu. Usually the start menu ist collumnwise shifted. Is there a way to get the menu straight like on the iphone (bad word ^_^).
I hope its understandable? Below are pictures.

Not sure about sorting, but to change the layout you can use this:

No, not really,
I don't care about how many grids I have.
Just want to have it sorted (see images above)
use a third party app called "vito winterface" clean looking...search for it and try the trail version...m sure u will like it !
You can use another utility made by nullstring. It lets you sort by name, etc. and I think you can move the shortcuts around as well. If you feel like using custom icons, it can do that too.

I have a HTC Hero CMDA and the screen is pretty small... my problem is, when I go to share something, there is no way to scroll the screen to see more apps listed towards the top of the screen. Like if I want to share something using "Messaging" I can't get to it because it is off the top of the screen with no way to scroll up to it.
Is there a way to move these entries around and/or delete some etc?
Example:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Anyone? I mean there has to be a local file or something that stores these entries that can be modified/adjusted. When you install apps, they are obviously adding entries somewhere.
In short, no.

Whether or not you can scroll the list seems to depend on the individual app. For example you can't in the default Gallery, but you can in the Gallery replacement Quickpic. At least, that's what i gleaned from searching for and reading those threads.

A new application called Mapsaurus is a great way for users to find new apps that they may enjoy, based on the apps they already have installed. For example, I clicked on my favorite wallpaper app (Pattrn) and it brought up four other apps that it thinks I would like. From there, you can hit each individual suggested app and see four more suggestions for that app, creating a huge app tree.
You can search based on your already installed apps or you can choose from fun categories, like Play Zombie Games or Get Better Battery Life. If you’ve been needing some sweet new apps, check it out.

The default Email app has had a nice makeover in 4.4 KitKat, however there's one thing that really bugs me - it shows a folder above the inbox, for quick access but it picks the first folder it finds. There seems to be no way to change this or make it select a different folder - it's just dumb and picks the first alphabetically. Which is my case is a folder I hardly use.

You probably don't have any sub-folders in your Inbox. For those of us that do however ... this is an issue

True, all my folders are at the same level as Inbox. I don't see them in the Android email app
Your favorites apps one swipe away, from anywhere !
The app has already been mentioned on XDA last august but I though it was useful to post an update as the app evolved a lot !
So here we go, the app has been totally updated, here the highlight :
- mini mode, minimal ui, pure t9, faster launch
- quick swipe, up to direct swipe access to your fav apps
- full icon pack support, theming
- in app search with contacts, youtube, maps...
- many other configuration options
Check it out !
