cdma_sys_4signal_1.png
cdma_sys_4signal_2.png
cdma_sys_4signal_3.png
cdma_sys_4signal_4.png
cdma_sys_6signal_0.png
cdma_sys_6signal_1.png
cdma_sys_6signal_2.png
cdma_sys_6signal_3.png
cdma_sys_6signal_4.png
cdma_sys_6signal_5.png
cdma_sys_6signal_6.png
changing all the cdma_sys_4signal.png worked for me. But you must know what your doing.

Worked perfect. Idk why I never looked there.

[FIX] Cyanogen Signal Fix With Instructions

Here is the zip that fixes the visual signal fix on Cyanogen (and all AOSP roms for that matter). However, don't flash this if you're running an theme on top of froyo. It wont hurt your phone, but it wont help any A big thanks to Kyouko for the fix!
Having trouble applying this with the newest CM 6.0.0 Stable? Take a look here for some help to get it working. Thanks to dirkydirk23 for these tips!
Download metamorph (free) from the market
Download the zip attached to this post
Unzip the visual fix file onto your sd card. It doesn't matter where on your sd card, just somwhere where you can find it.
Open metamorph, and allow it to run checks. Sometimes on the first time you open it, it claims that something is wrong on your phone and will close. If this happens, just reopen the aplication again and allow it to run checks. It will work the second time.
Click on "apply existing theme" on metamorph.
Navigate to the extracted file of the visual fix on your sd card.
Click on it, and then select the .XML file
Allow metamorph to flash the .XML and rebbot your phone. When it boots up again, the signal bars will be fixed!
Post if you have any questions or would like to express thanks
I'ma noobie
hey, lemme ask you, is there an issue with it showing inaccurate bars? or is this giving us more visual bars as others have complained about only having 4?
also you spelled cyanogen wrong haha

nice, I'm gonna get on this band wagon tonight when I get home, now if someone would just get back to me on the circular battery symbol thing, I'll be set. ha

This gives you more visual bars. On the default rom without this fix, the max amount of bars that will show up, even if you have amazing signal, is 3. With this fix, you get a more accurate reading; If you have great signal, you'll have the full 4 bars, not only 3. And if you have ok signal, you'll have 2 bars, not only one. And I fixed the spelling thanks

I put it on my phone then did what you said. Now I have got 4 bars! Then I was talking with my friend who has a droid, found out he had 4 bars all along. I was mad.

Why were you mad? This fix is for the hero, and it worked because you have a full 4 bars now. The droid has always had the full 4 bars, but AOSP on the hero never has. Now with the fix, it does

I know, but that's just a flaw with the xda app not allowing attachments to be viewed.... nothing I can do about that

Yeah I wish that would get fixed!
BTW, if I download and extract the .png files from this fix, can I just add them to the Framework-res.apk in my theme? Will that do the same thing once I flash the theme?

Yes it will if I'm understanding the question correctly... you're making a theme and changing out the default PNG images and replacing them with these? If that's the case then when you flash the new theme it definitely should work, but if it doesn't you can always just metamorph this file and make it work

No this is for everything AOSP, and it shouldn't have changed your wallpaper. How may signal bars do you usually get wherever you are now? You should see one more than that, as that is what this visual fix does.
I was plesently surprised to find out I don't have to repeat this step when I flash the nightlies, like I do with the voicemail apk

Correct, and that's because the nightlies shouldn't override the framework.apk

Is there a Gingerbread theme (notification bar looks like GB) for sense ROMS?

Hey everyone. I have been searching to no avail and was wondering if maybe someone can help. I'm using a pretty much stock rom, just rooted, and running adw EX. I know there are gingerbread themes for CM6.1, which change the notification bar icons and all to green, but I have yet to see one for a sense rom. Even the ADW themes dont change the notification bar (unless I'm missing something?) Can someone out there point me in the right direction if there is one? Thanks!
I have yet to see one and im a rom/theme junkie lol.

It sounds like Wes is working on one for his Super-Z roms.

Sent from my ADR6300 using XDA App
I made one that I am using on my phone right now with Wes's Z rom, but I can't for the life of me change the 3g icon to anything, it always remains the stock icon. Everything else is Gingerbread themed though. Apparently Wes is making one as well, I am asking him how he changed the 3g icon (if he was able to) so that I can finish mine. I did, however, incorporate DarkTharen's Conservative icons into my status bar, so the only Gingerbread icons in my status bar are the usuals (reception bars, battery [with percentage], and WiFi).

I'm really bummed about that too. Been running your theme for a while and I love it. I wish I could toss some coin into your computer fund, but I don't have it at the moment

There is one for anyone running an EVO Framework based ROM (myn's Warm atleast) over in the Evo section.

Can't this be pretty easily ported to the incredible framework?

Personally, I'm hoping for a stock Gingerbread set for Z roms... Huge thanks to you if you can do this!
it's very simply to make the status bar black, with the green 3g,wifi, signal bars, battery, but the black menu is a different thing, within sense.
ive had it done for awhile on my super-z standard rom
heres a link if you didnt find one already.
there are 3 colors to choose from and im working on more

TPGB2011018 Notification theme

I love the ROM (thanks adam was a big fan of phoenix roms for the captivate). However, randomly my icons will turn grey then back to green, with any theme. I would also like to know if anyone knows a way to remove the time from the notification bar and perhaps have the reception shown like in honeysense where it vertical as opposed to horizontal and percentage with the battery. Using the Galxy green theme. green notification text would be nice as well like in vivid lime for the atrix.
If anyone could point me in the right direction would be much appreciated. Not trying to sound like a beggar just determined to finish the look im going for. Thanks in advance.
The icons go from connected (grey) to fully connected (green). That is normal. A lot of switching is not and may just be a radio issue. Also, the time would have to be modified in the framework, not a five minute fix. Also, the honey comb signal is super easy to do in photo shop.

I thought it might have jad something to do with the radio. i flashed the one you had suggested with the rom. how would i go about extracting the notification icons? thanks for you help.

(Request) Auto-Rotate Animation

I'm trying to get an auto-rotate animation like.. well.. the iPhone. I've been reading a few threads but nothing for the G2x.
I don't think anything but devices with the Motorola Applications Platform have it.
Unless you've seen something else?
Nope. Haven't seen anything like it but was hoping it was possible.
Sent from my LG-P999 using XDA App
You do realize that the animations actually slow down Auto-Rotate...
Yeah. I don't mind waiting an extra second.
Sent from my LG-P999 using XDA App
If anyone know a dev that could help that'd be great. I know Android is about efficiency and being snappy but I'd like to get a little animation with it. Thanks.

Well, I think I've seen it on Honeycomb 3.0 Tablets... So I'd search around on the Tablet forums.

One more thing.. I really know zip about developing or themes but I just need the signal bars like the one in the leaked ICS picture. Pretty much honeycomb signal bars but cyan since I use cyanbread. I want the battery to stay the same.

If you wouldn't mind, could you please send me a copy of your SystemUI.apk so I could try to add the Signal bars... I'll try my best, no promises though.
Honeycomb 3.2 has animated rotation on my TF.

[REQ] Change Status Bar Clock Color

I have been studying up on changing the status bar clock color, but am not having luck executing it...could someone help me out? I want it plain old white...My SystemUI is attached.

No worries on testing...I backup regularly and yes, it is AOSP (Eclipse JB). I appreciate it either way.
Just curious but isn't there an option in the settings to change the clock color to any color you want? It's been a long time since I last ran an aosp rom so I could be wrong.
