Sorry, I meant to get back to update this last night, but I hit some snags. The ROM is stable, it's all I've been running since May. I'm working on the final steps of getting official status. (waiting for the second code reviewer to approve my commits) In the meantime, the ROM is available here. There are no known bugs at this time, but you know the drill, find them, report them, I'll smash them. I'll update the link in the OP to point to afh until I get official status, and have builds on jenkins

New build uploaded, with themes fixed. (dirty flash worked fine for me) There are two builds from today there, the later build has a few kernel updates, otherwise they are identical.
PAC ROM on D850
Is this now pretty much inline with current PR builds everywhere else? I saw your postings on the G+ group and here so I thought I might try/test it out. Thanks for the effort.
Is it necessary, if I have one or two bars of mobile data, to flash a new modem/radio to my LG G3 D850? My G3 came with KitKat and is the At&t version, unlocked and on the Cricket network.

Yes, this is inline with all of the other PR builds. There are three very small commits waiting to be merged, because our gerrit server is down for maintenance right now, but the builds that I am uploading are fresjly synced to PAC sources before each build.
New build up now.

Also, did I read correctly that no more features will be added to PR MM and they are focusing only on Nougat (N) development?
FWIW, I'm good with PR MM where is at...some other CM/AOKP ROMs have soooo many options in their customize menus/app. PR is quite simple and nice in that regard.

You are correct, at this point, automatic builds are suspended, the codebase for most of the features is frozen, and we are just maintaining MM as is. THere is a poll (on Google+, I believe) where users can vote for features that they really, really want put back into MM, and if a given feature gets enough votes, it may well get cooked in. Our focus, however, is on N, and deciding how to approach it. The plan was to move from a CM base to pure AOSP base with MM, but it turned out to simply be too large of a task for the man power that we had. We are still deliberating over whether to make another attempt with N or not.
I'm glad you like the ROM! I can say I've been running nothing but this since May, and it has been incredibly stable. I did not pursure Official status with it until the end of July, mostly because I ran into an issue with my build machine in the middle of June. I do like many of the other PAC features, such as the app circle, etc, but I also like that nearly all, if not all can be disabled in userspace, not just at compile time.
One other note, I did have one or two times where data didn't want to connect; the first pulling the battery for a few seconds cleared it, the second, toggling aeroplane mode cleared it. (I did not think to try the aeroplane mode method the first time.) I was away from my machine both times, so I haven't gotten a logcat of it, so if anyone else notices it to happen, and could catch a logcat, I'll take a look at it.
Thanks to all of you for your interest. This is my first (successful) port, and my first time officially maintaing a device, so it has been an awesome learning experience, and it is awesome having the opurtunity to contribute something back to the community from I have gained so much.

I am not too savvy on radio/modem version and corresponding ROM. However, I will say, before I rooted and started installing, it either had KK or LP, can't remember. But, I flashed away with no issue to several different MM ROMs and never touched the radio/modem.
Then I was seeing issues in my area with poor signal, so I thought I would give it a whack. I located the 21Q+R zip and flashed it and have never had any issues with it.
Probably not much help, but just wanted to let you know I started from "way back" in terms of ROM version and haven't had issues.

That is the same baseband version that I have on my device. I'm not sure if I said it last night, but one more new build up. No new changes, just a build to verify that I had all of my sources in order before I merged my final commits.

Rview is a Gerrit client application for Android, which allows you to access to a Gerrit instance to perform code reviews. You can do practically anything you can do in the Gerrit web, with the main exception of edits:
- View your dashboard.
- View open, merged or abandoned changes.
- Search for changes.
- Review and comment on changes.
- Edit files and publish new revisions
- Compare textually and visually the differences on any changed file.

I really like rview. I have only one problem with it. I would very much prefer if I could reorder the "outgoing" view so that oldest entries are on top of the list. This would follow the default view in the gerrit web GUI, and it would allow to review and submit the changes in the right order, without scrolling to the bottom of the list for each submit.
Would that be possible?

@cvxda 'Outgoing' view (and all the rest of the views) are sorted from newest updated to oldest updated. Rview doesn't sort the results (and its not easy way to fetch data in inverse order because afaik its api doesn't support that kind of flag in the request). Are you getting a different entries sort order from gerrit web?
There is a differency between the Rview and the new Gerrit 2.14 dashboard queries, but it doesn't affect to Outgoing view.

AICP is known by everyone as Ice Cold Project that started on Desire HD and since then evolved into a mature ROM with the BEST community you can find!!!
Until Lollipop, Rom has always been AOKP based. Unfortunately, since AOKP either stopped development or will make a comeback later this year, we changed our base to CM when it comes to hardware, drivers and some features.
If there are any bugs, either we will sort them or CM team if it concerns their modifications. This rom isn't CM supported so no need to report errors or bugs to them!!

ROMS should contain everything you need to enjoy . You are not required to install any Add Ons, simply download the latest ROM, gapps, flash it, and go!
You are STRONGLY recommended to fully wipe your device before flashing, and if possible avoid restoring system apps and system data with Titanium Backup - these can cause stability issues that are very hard to debug. If you believe you know what you're doing - then fine, go ahead, but please don't complain if you experience strange behavior.

Nice to see more development going on. Your post mentions lollipop a lot, I assume it's just an editing error from copy & pasting. Am I correct in assuming this is Android 7.1 for all FRD devices? Also, for known issues, you cite the same issues as CM14.1 official. If that's the case, then can we assume the FPS (Fingerprint Sensor), Camera, and GPS work?
Also there's nothing mentioned about which TWRP to use. Does it matter?
EDIT: Reset phone, installed AICP ROM, couldn't flash Gapps (incompatible version, redflag already), tried to boot phone and stuck on ROM logo for 15 minutes.
EDIT2: Downloaded and flashed again, waited 10 minutes, still won't boot. Phone is FRD-L04.
EDIT3: Confirmed ROM does not work on my device, no matter what I try. Which device did the developers test on?

Thanks .. It was build from the same device ,vendor and kernal trees Of cm14.1 . it should work on all models that cm14.1 works and the typo will be corrected , it was the common XDA template used since lollipop so it might the thing . there were few things left to work in the rom .would request u to wait for the new build.
I'm not sure I understand. Did no one try this ROM on a Honor 8? Has anyone been able to boot this ROM?

U will find the build in the folder. In future only the dates in the thread title will be changed and the 3rd post for change log changes in timely manner since I was maintaining as many Roms for 5x , it would be a bit harder to update all the links each time . Upnext once we had a stable build , I will move my hosting to Android file host which we will have few more test Roms (we have 50+ N based roms in github , probably we will try to have all those sequentially upon this project success) . Hope everyone will bare with me !! THANKYOU

I did a factory reset so I'm not sure why ROM version matters. But I've tried from CM13 and CM14. I'll retry from stock in the morning.

Since there is a build of resurrection remix here .. I wil use the same sources to search for an outcome . but we are not going to leave this here ! Please have patience

I think as this is a new phone and as the development for this phone is relatively new I think that everybody needs to be patient.
I'm sure you will work out what the issues are.
I just think that it's great that the ROMs for this phone are starting to stack up.

That is exactly what I thought might happen with this Honor 8.
Soon as you guys suss out what's different there will be loads to choose from.
Have you though if sharing your work on the Modaco Honor 8 site.?
They have a template on there for building custom ROMs
It might help answer some questions

I will do the same for Honor 8 too . Only thing is ,if surdu could fix all the bugs we will have as many official builds . Till then ,We should keep adjusting for non posted unofficial builds in my androidfilehost .
