I'm currently using Avalaunch's RC3 FroYo Rom and I was wondering if anyone could replicate the Galaxy S theme that's for Cyan's CM6, for this one.. I'll edit my original post to include a link to Ava's thread if need be.. Mind you this is my first topic and request, so be easy on the flaming.. LoL

Manup456's REVOlution mod has been ported to CM6. A straight port can be found in the thread somewhere or you can dl my modded version.

so me and my bro both have a captivate, i just installed the continuum rom for him, and im running CM7. He cant use CM7 since he need a lot of batter life but he was wondering if there is anyway to lets say get the dialer/keyboard from CM7 and use it on his rom? i know cm7 is a port but there both 2.3 so i was thinking it might work.

Different dialer apps. Continuum us a samsung rom cm7 is a asop rom. In short, I do not believe so

So I have tried almost every tom out there and still find myself going back to a froyo based build. Now my question...is there a version of the cm themechooser.apk that will work on a froyo based rom?

It would be like a complete look-alike of the Nexus S. It'd be pretty epic since there is no AOSP for Galaxy S 4G Gingerbread.
Are you saying that you haven't done any research. I am the created of GBTHEME for valhalla. FYI i am releasing the 1.3 edition tonight. I am just testing out a few things. Before you ask or pm someone to make a look alike of my theme and then give credit to him. It is an AOSP gingerbread theme. You first need to update to valhalla 1.3, it doesn't wipe data so you don't have to re setup your rom. Valhalla has the aosp lock screen in it.

if anybody is using cm9 on their captivate and or on any other, mobile then please supply me with theme chooser.apk , theme manager.apk please it's a humble request
m using ics on my captivate I used theme chooser.apk from gingerbread from but it was force closing so I think cm9's theme chooser.apk will work
they didnt develop theme chooser for ICS yet....and you should have asked this in rom specific thread.
The new source codes of CyanogenMod includes the theme chooser.
If you want the theme chooser, you must build the whole rom from source..
google will help you find your way to the source codes
No, there is ways to build specific apps, not the whole ROM... Ask sixstringsg or Smasher816. I cannot remember the exact code specifically. But it is tgere
