NOVA game saves - EVO 4G Themes and Apps

anyone have nova game saves and know where to paste that in what folder, my nephew deleted my saves and i dont want to start from the beginning again, thanks!

any help guys?

I believe under the gameloft folder on the SD card. That's where the game data is anyways. Why don't you visit the developer website as I'm sure you might find the info there.

when you go to gameloft folder in SD card then you need to see game names ex: nfs shift ...?
if you see then remove the game data which you don't need! or if you don't see the game name in the gameloft folder then try to find cleaning app from android market which shows you folders + them names... ?

Save state to fpse

hey guys, i know i have done this before. But i find myself in the same situation. The game is final fanasy 7; and the i am just trying to load my 25hour saved data from psx4droid to fpse. Like i said i know i have done it before but after hours of messing around i have come up with nothing. Now...on psx4droid my saves werent on the memory card, i would save it internal to my sd using the load/save function in psx4droid. the same function is in fpse. So I have my saved file its 1,980kb s i know its a save file. The file is labeled as Final Fantasy VII Disc 2.ss0 theres is another file labeled with the same name but that is just an image file showing where i left off. So, how do i use that save file up there? the .ss0 just means it was from savestate 0 on psx4droid im sure. So where do i insert that file into fpse so that i can just load it up?

I dont know about psx4droid, but for fpse my save state file is named as SLUS006640.SAV. To load the file I go to fpse settings > savestates path and select the folder where the SLUS006640.SAV is located. I am not sure if you have to change the psx4droid file to .sav before it works tho never used it b4.
I'm sure I didn't save it to that before. But thanks for the reply it did help. Waiting for more input.

I have rooted my samsung. I use astro and search my whole phone and sdcard for fpse savestate. I dont find anything! I have final fantasy 9 and savestates in the emulator. Hmm.
What am i doing wrong?
Cant find nothing.
Im gonna use some fix/hack for getting cheats for that game in fpse. Have not found a way to cheat in that emulator yet. :/ FF9.
Other then that. Great emulator!
edit: The day after. DONE.
I just had to choose a savestate path. Wierd. Now i can find the .SAV. Thanks!

App Developers Listen Up - Put your config and junk data in sdcard/apps!

Hi XDA!
I realise that I'm new here, so I may not get listened to, but I've been using smartphones for a while and this has always been an annoyance for me.
Currently, my internal storage (internal sd as some like to call it), is full of config, backup and other files placed there by app developers. I have a folder called AussieWeatherRadar, one called Cut the Rope, and one called rammanager, just to name a few.
As I have a bit of OCD, I like to keep my internal memory looking tidy, but how is this possible with so many folders, none of which conform to any particular standards?
I am suggesting the following: App developers should use the /apps/ folder, or a similar folder on the sd card to store their data. This way, the user's SD card does not look cluttered, but the data is all still there.
So please, app developers, here my plea! Please use the /app/ directory!
Do you have any comments or suggestions on this? Please comment!
Thanks,
John
TL;DR: App developers should use the sdcard/app/ folder for their junk/config/backup files so that sdcard/ looks tidy.
Second the sentiment.
Third.

Developers *HAVE* a default location to place their data if they need to store in external storage. Google dictates for it to be in /sdcard/Android/data
I have made an app that creates in terms an init.d script that auto removes these folders on boot, but that doesn't solve the problem.
Developers wanting to promote their apps create folders with, honestly nothing in them, to show off.
I have created a Google Docs document that I will share tomorrow with the apps I have installed on my phone that create an sdcard folder. Perhaps you could help improve that list.
One afternoon in last December I had emailed all those app developers about this. Do you know how many answers I received to about 10 emails? None..
We should all organize a massive email sendout to them again. After all its their own fault for not sticking to Android guidelines.

Well put mate!
Totally agree. They messed up my internal storage as well I wonder if I need to de-fragment it using my PC's windows defragment tools
Here is my list of apps that create a folder in the root of the sdcard without giving the option to reconfigure the folder location.

Please help improve this list further on so we can email the developers.

Finding hidden files in game

Hi.. there's a game that I play and when you load it there's a notice saying "Downloading game files"
On the iPhone/iPad etc these files are stores in /Apps/App Name/FILES HERE
but I can't find the files on android. anyone know why they're not showing up on android?
thanks
I have no clue best of luck tho

Because the developer can choose where to store the app data, and may use a different naming scheme depending on the application. You should probably look in the /data folder for the application data.

Editing game save files

Afternoon guys,
I am trying to find the game save files on my tablet but am having no luck. It's rooted and unlocked. Where would they be and what are they saved under? .dat? .dex?
I am looking to edit them if possible to mess about with the game stats.
Thanks

App-specific data is stored in /data/data/name.of.the.app.

Might help us if you told us which game it was you were trying to find.
One you know the app, look up the android name, find the /data/data/com.appname (example) folder (as _that already said) and look inside - no guarantees that you can edit the save games though.
Another place might be on the sdcard /android/data and yes again some apps just plonk it in /data on the sdcard
It all depends what you are looking for - which we don't know ....
Use a file explorer like ES File Explorer and do a search for the app

Its clash of clans.
Guys, I know how to access the folder where the info is. Thats not the problem I'm having. The problem is which file INSIDE the folder is the game save. It's not like it's labeled .gamesave...

There is no one file it different for every game only real way is to play around with the data folder or see if the developer will tell you. In some games it's a whole folder.
One of the files is all weird characters and letters. Anyway to decipher it?
