Microp version mismatch ERROR! PLEASE Help!! - Touch Pro2 CDMA

Hi guys,
I have a sprint touch pro 2 and got the phone frozen for no reason. When I soft reset the phone and got the phone turned on there was an error on the screen writing "Microp version mismatch 0. Please update to the latest firmware." and when the phone screen goes off for power saving purpose I cannot turn the lcd back on using the power button. Then I thought Hard resetting would solve the problem as it would restore to factory settings. but the problem still presents. I searched the forum and found a thread about htc diamond informing the problem is caused by an hardware malfunction related to the sockets on xda developers (showthread.php?t=657514). But couldn't found anything related to touch pro 2. Please help me I cannot use my phone!!!

thanks for not helping guys it turned back to normal on his own..
EDIT: The problem still exists I will try the htc diamond solution and see if it works (forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=657514) HOPE IT WILL (

O2 XDA Orbit 2 wont boot! SOS

Hi, I am new to this forum. Sorry if this thread is not in the right place.
I own an O2 XDA Orbit 2 aka HTC Polaris and today evening it froze on me. I tried soft boot, restarting, getting the batt/sim, memory card out but it just wont get past the boot up screen.
Its got the windows mobile logo with a volume bar overlapping it. It just stays on that and I have no clue what I need to do to fix it. I am a bit stressed as it got all me emails and some personal pictures and data which I cannot access.
I have also connected it to my PC via USB bit it wont let me explore the device. I would really appreciate it if someone can advise me on how to go about fixing this problem.
Many thanks
Try posting in one of the Polaris forums, you might get more help there

Hello there,
i have got the same problem as this gentleman has mentioned above, is it possible that someone can help us out with this annoying problem, i am very disappointed because its only 2nd day of my orbit 2 and it started behaving like this, your urgent replies will be highly appriciated.
Thanking you in advance.
I have had this a couple of times with my orbit - windows logo and volume bar just stting there. The only way I have resolved it is to perform a hard reset.

psShutXp how to?

how can i make each icon do what its supose to do i can soft reset only but the shutdown only turns off the screen not the whole device
help?
thanks in advance
Can you please provide what phone you are using so I could search if this problem is phone specific.
At my Wizard it works fine.-
htc touch vogue from sprint
I am going to disappoint you. It seems to be phone specific as you can see. I have found a couple of guys having this problem but no solution .
Also take a look here. It seems that also HTC Magician has the same problem because the phone has not a real Shutdown. Maybe that's why it's happening to your Touch too.-

HI,
Are you sure that new battery will solve the problem? actually have have gone through a couple of blogs and problem solving discussions over internet and they say that even the battery is replaced, the problem still remains. i am still not sure what the problem is
man your English is Excellent , i am from Sweden, happy neighbor
I've heard that's there a problem with some sim, but it seems that it won't happen randomly then. In this case (some new sim from swisscom), the Touch2 won't turns on.

I had the problem and I logged a problem ticket with HTC Service center at Malaysia..
Subject: HTC Touch2 Self-Power Off intermittently and unable to power on again via the Power button.
Desc: My Touch2 was purchased on 16-Nov 2009. It experiencing intermittent self-power off problem when phone was left ideal for couple of second! Secondly, the phone was intermittent "freeze" when charging with power adapter. For both cases, the phone cannot be turn on via the Power button. Must perform manual Reset to power on the phone each time. I performed FACTORY Reset 5 times already; disabled the Touch2Flo; disabled ALL auto power off.. yet it did not resolve the problem. [ROM Version: 1.28.707.3 (66092); Radio Version: 3.49.25.05; Protocol version: 61.42t.25.31H]
The service center called and they offered to change the motherboard. I had it changed unfortunately the problem still persist. And worst still the touch screen didn't not respone after a while. I sent to fix and waited for another 2weeks, and changed the 2nd motherboard. I'm been using the repaired phone for past 2monts WITHOUT any intermittent power off issue.. YIPPI!
P/s: My batt Serial No: 1GKA299KQQ4912. Part No: 35H0015-11M. The HTC repair report did not mentioned whether they change my batt nor I cannot confirmed whether it was the "-07M". Anyway, I'm glad that my nightmare is over for now
gooddd
Hey good that you fixed it somehow. At the time i was having that turnoff problem thing, i really felt like ****, but after reading your message, i feel better off
I start to hate HTC. %80 o HTC having same problem around
Yeah man...so truee...But after battery replace, it works perfect

[Q] Unlock-touch Problem

Hello,
My htc chacha worked almost pefectly within its warranty period. But after that,it started with it's touch screen not responding well. Now it has come to the extend that, the ring that is needed to be pulled up to unlock the screen is also not working. The unlock ring is kind of flickering when attempted to be pulled up. I can't even see the phone main menu! Guys please help me out here.
Regards.
got the same problem... please help
It is most probably a hardware issue. You need to replace touch screen digitizer. The same thing happened to me. The top half of the screen didn't respond to touch.
Thnx a lot. But do u think unlocking the boot loader will help in any way? And there's an another issue, when I attempt to check for updates online, it says that my phone is up to date, whereas my phone's Android version is 2.3.3 ????
Hey pal,,online update dont change the rom-it updates your software version,,,u have to change your rom to 2.3.5
Sent from my HTC ChaCha A810e using xda app-developers app

It don't seem to be a software problem... check your Touch Cable and if your problem also continue, maybe you should change your Touch Screen.
