Skin Mobile 5

Himalaya and WM5 users,
Have you used the wm5 application skin mobile 5?
It's just a skin to make your taskbar looks like wm6 taskbar in any color you want. i think you can edit the .ini file for the colors. just log on to ppcgeeks.com and search for it.
But the problem is, it is not english in language and you have to minimize the application so that the changes remains.
I think it's cool.

It looks like you can only get an Iphone theme on a PPC, not a smartphone.

Thats not true. I had the I-Phone theme on my Excalibur.

Can't you explain how to install this theme. A can understand anything from a read.me file.
The ReadMe.txt file says next:
Unzip the version of iPhoneV2 you want, the one with facade or
the one (mostly) using standard plugins (the extra plugins are
free).

How do I get the black gradient for the softkeys and the topbar?
Install this program:

Chome visual editor only is for edit , search and use this , i used this for my works

I want to edit things like scrollbars, highlights, softkey backgrounds. This doesn't seem to do it.

Find a WM6.5.X theme file. Rename to *.cab. Extract reg, and use that as your base. Prefer classicblue myself. Now get a pic you want, convert to your resolutions, create a cab with it, and insert reg!
EDIT: If you search using the link in my sign, you will find the answers. It has been discussed in detail before.

I just figured it out that tsk files are actually cabs as you posted this! Wow, in all my years with Windows Mobile I never knew that!

How to "extract reg"??

It doesn't work properly for WM6.5.x.
Use WinCE CAB Manager to open the CAB of any theme you like and replace the graphic files with your own. You can also edit the TSK, if you want. Just learn by doing, I figured it this way as well .

Hello guys.I like really much the icons and the differents mods create by Dinik and DJC.And I thank them cordially to authorize me has to use its work.I have to decide to create skins for my favorite programs.
The first skin is for the excellent G-alarm 2.5 apps.
I work on other skin currently that I will post progressively.
ATTENTION!!!
01. You are free to use Dinik's and DJC works for private use.
02. You are free to modify Dinik's and DJC works, but only for private use. (No Share or Posting here or on other Sites)
03. You are not allowed to modify Dinik's and DJC works and post it here or on other sites. (Without them Permission)
04. You are not allowed to include Dinik's and DJC works in your Roms. (Without them Permission)
Install instruction for G-alarm skin:
1owload Skin.zip (attached in this post)
2:Uncompressed the zip file anyware on your PC
3:Connect your phone to your PC
4:Copy the entire folder named Anastasia v0.2 in
-\Program Files\ageye\G-Alarm\skin Folder on your device or
-\Storage Card\Program Files\ageye\G-Alarm\skin
5:Choose the skin in G-alarm menu
6:Enjoy

Edit:if you have a problem with Htc Album huggy_72 have find a solution:
find on this thread tips 64.
make a reg HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/Software/HTC/HTCAlbum/Ignored
then new string value, name="your's Folder Name" value= "your's folder location"
Then album work correct.
And one moreover for TCPMP:(Is for netdrg version,and only portrait mode)

1onwload TCPMP Anastasia skin v0.1
2:Uncompressed the zip file anyware on your PC
3:Connect your phone to your PC
4:Copy the entire folder named Anastasia Skin or you want in your device

Skin very good.
One small thing: the scriptures are gray on a black background, we read the wrong books.

I appreciate your effort. But it's dissapointing to find a style that you like is being restrained by factors other than creativity. I hope we can find a happy place sometime soon.
edit: Case in Point, I don't post screenshots because of all the "bootleg" graphics I use to make things personal. I have HUNDREDS of new ana icons that will never be seen beyond my screen.

Also a small observation, some it doesn't exactly work as some text is unreadable.... esp the open advanced menu's buttons. otherwise seems goooooood!

hey guys, this is about the last thing on my phone to skin and i need some advice. what manila files do i need to look at to change the tasks widget as seen in the yellow box..?, are there any glass themed tasks skins kicking about. thanks for any help...

Maybe you could try with Dinik's skin which looks very nice.
In the attached folder you can find the cab. file, the manila. files and it's png. files
